Yess! Amazing video as always Kraig. I'm a huge fan of yours and have been watching your videos for many months. I finally got motivated to make my own hiking video inspired by you. All i can think about when watching you walk (especially far away from the camera or across a lake) away from the camera is you having to come back and grab it and then go again. So worth it for these shots!
I watch these with a plate of fruit in the morning before I go to school. Right now is a very stressful time for me, and these small moments in the morning before school with these hiking videos are what keeps me going sometimes

Dear Kraig, thank you for inspiring me to create my own hiking UA-cam channel! I've been into hiking and climbing for years and just like you am coming from cinema background and still working in video production area. But I've been aimlessly and rarely shooting videos that barely captured the soul of my trips..(with a lousy gopro that kept freezing in cold) until I come across your videos. It was a sudden bright flash appeared in my mind and I told myself "This is it!". "This is how I should combine my hobby and my work!" In an instant I fell in love with your storytelling and style. I started making similar hiking videos in Turkey. I grabbed a Sony RX100 VII and DJI Mavic Air 2 and went out to hikes. It felt like a therapy. I added things from my perspective too but I still say I'm very heavily influenced by you. You are my hero, thank you for the awareness. Last week I've been in anti-taurus mountains in Turkey and made this video: ua-cam.com/video/FUGXkeTCnwg/v-deo.html
Hi Kraig, how r u? I’ve been watching your videos for the past year, and I really love them, I have physical limitations, I had multiple surgeries in my back and unfortunately I can’t walk for long periods of time and I can’t sleep in tents. But I can see your POV, and damn you have such a good eye, I can imagine myself hacking! I saw your last video, and i wanna let you know that you’re not alone, you have a friend here. I live In Brazil, and if one day you want to visit and hike down here, I can help you out with everything that I can. Love from Brazil Kraig, See u brother!

I have the attention span of a Golden Retriever puppy, but no matter how long these videos are you always manage to keep my attention, and of course, amaze me.
Love these videos. keep them coming. :) Reminds me of Psalm 19. "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."
I would give anything to have a really big picture of the lake and trees on each side at 0:54. That was absolutely fabulous!!! I hiked the Enchantments about 50 years ago, and what I remember most is that we had to buskwhack it straight up the mountain for about a half hour.
Didn't get to see all of it, or better yet, couldn't stand watching anymore. Watch these (kind of) videos at first to reminisce, catch memories of all the places I hiked and trekked and traveled now that cannot and am On-In-Years. Secondly it's all about Belief, or the power thereof and getting to see and think of all that's good and right in this life if you get the chance, are so lucky. In that I am a million miles away from that world/life, mostly cuz don't got legs like yours - had to say somethin' bout it. Thanks for taking me along - as far as I could go.
You have the eye of an artist.. watching your vdos is nothing less than art in motion , invigorating all senses , even though I can’t smell the air , the serene vibes that seep thru your videos are enough to make you feel elated ...
Kraig love the way you shoot these videos. I'm sure it's time consuming setting up the camera and walking back to it all the time, but it gives your videos a really unique feel, so don't change! Thanks
Did that same path nearly 47 years ago. Made the mistake of pitching a tent in a basin. Had record rainfall. The creek that I jumped over on the way there was a raging River on the way back. Thanks for bringing that memory back to me.
Yess! Amazing video as always Kraig. I'm a huge fan of yours and have been watching your videos for many months. I finally got motivated to make my own hiking video inspired by you. Kraig I always inspired after watching your videos. your content speaks for itself. every frame has intent and the edit just flows seamlessly. I look forward to the day I run into you on trail sometime here in California. sending all the good vibes for this nomad life
I live in the Seattle area! Enchantment area is always fantastic. Quick note about Leavenworth that I thought I'd share. The reason it is Bavarian themed is actually to save them from going bankrupt! A while back they were in a tough spot so they decided to have the town themed Bavarian to bring in some extra money. So no, back when everyone was Going West there was not a German couple who came and established the town. Kinda funny, always a great place to get a good bratwurst. Glad you enjoyed it Kraig, loved the video!
Thank you for keeping the beautiful, peaceful content coming. Everyone is paying to watch TV that makes them depressed, and I'm just sat here enjoying life and getting inspiration for my own content.
Yes! Long day-hikes are the best. You don't carry so much weight and therefore you can move way faster. It's also healthier for your back. Can't wait to see more of these! Cheers for the bavarian food and drink!
I am a (non-ultra) trail runner. Trail running videos brought me to hiking videos and thus ultimately to your channel. After all, these two activities have a lot in common. So if you considering to venture into trail running, I will be very happy to enjoy this new facet of your channel. Plus on a running vest. I use one myself for longer runs. Much better suited for running and day hikes then a back pack.
I always feel like I'm able to go on the hike without doing all the work when I watch these, so thank you. You're giving many of us an opportunity to see parts of the world we never would
you are a truely blessed soul to enjoy solitude in preserved wild places, thank you so much for making such wonderful videos for us oldies who are backseat backpackers and hikers, for now.
What a beautifully made video of an incredible place. Your videos of the outdoor world are a full cut above any others on the internet, including some landscape photographers I follow.
Love the silence and stillness of nature, allows us to get totally immersed in the wild and serene beauty of the hiking trails. Impressive shoots, dude! 😍
I love your videos! For some reason, they are so addicting, and fun to watch. Love how you film them as well. It's a nice creative way to not only capture the trail but also yourself perfectly. Keep doing more!
Great photography. Clear and crisp. I wish shoe sponsors would support you. As much hiking as you do, it would be nice to hear about different shoe brands.
*smashes like before watching* edit: that place is stunningly beautiful, there's something so magical about the wilderness and sheer peaks you can access in the USA (elsewhere in the world too obvs). Great job sharing it with us.

Very enjoyable video Kraig... I thoroughly enjoyed it. 20 miles and 5,000ft is a big dayhike! Great effort doing it and capturing it. I really enjoy the recent outros you've added, showing you walking back to get the camera. And the time you now dedicate to showing the places you stay pre/post hike. Excellent. All the best, Richard
Agree. There is a kind of balance to his videos that is hard to describe. Every cut, all the color grades, all the angles and the different music seem to be in a golden ratio to each other. I don't wanna know how long he spends editing these.
I ran the route in October 2018 with a fresh layer of snow and golden larches. It made it more difficult and a little chilly but was one of my favorite day hikes/runs ever. Leavenworth also happened to be celebrating oktoberfest. Very strange sight for a European, but it's so peaceful out there in Washington, we just can't even compare. Your video was an incredibly beautiful representation of that, brought me back to my own trip even though that looked a lot different!
So, here's something I really wanted to share. I came across your videos accidentally on you tube about a couple of months ago and I have been enjoying all your videos since then. I have always loved travel and I am so thankful for you making these beautiful videos. Your videos are so enchanting that I have watched some of them multiple times. Earlier when I used to get stressed or tired of a long work day I used to listen to music to relax myself but now I just watch your videos LOL!!! Also, I have to mention that, I have watched many travel videos in my life from other bloggers but nothing is close to what you are doing. They are just AMAZING!!!
Another great Vid! Background music is nice, and appropriate, and in the Background! Great audio transitions. And I like the non-talkie-selfie Part I then the personal recap. Another great job!
DUDE, loved to see you in Leavenworth in this vid. One of my favorite trail towns from my PCT hike last year. Lots of tourists on weekends but so worth it for the cool vibes. Getting a hitch out of there back to the trail was fairly easy too. Lets meet up and do a section of the PCT! Happy hiking my friend. You're truly becoming "Hiker Trash." - Kingslayer
Can you imagine doing each shot in this video..Putting down the camera, doing the walking shot, coming back where the camera was, picking up the camera, start walking again. That's a ton of effort and work! I admire your patience!
Kraig, Again, your videos are getting better and better! And I loved it! Each video uploaded I start thinking about the next one you will share. So good!
I love watching your videos because like you mentioned in the video, they are so crisp to look at. Thanks for sharing some BTS footage and the camera gear.
Wow just amazing. I love your videos man. They inspire me to go out more and explore nature. Thank you Kraig for giving me new perspective and joy in my life.
Been following all your hiking vids and this is the first time I noticed how well you edit and transition the audio tracks, very well done. Please keep up the good work.
Hi Kraig - Of course the hiking videos are excellent. I wish to comment that the last half of the before and after hike is great :). The places you stayed, transportation, gear used - both hiking and video gear/editing, your insights, the "not in the movie" video clips (excellent enhancement to the actual experience) - all the second half of the last 2 videos..... makes the entire video so much better :) I have listened to most of your podcasts as well - that you share your candid thoughts is enlightening as we all have those rarely expressed thoughts wonder thru our minds, usually unexamined. That you express these thoughts, ideas, circumstances etc has helped to listen and think about my own similar thoughts rather than just rushing on with "life". Thanks.
I just did the full traverse yesterday. 21.5 miles over 17 hours, long hike but well worth it. 8,000 ft of descent was insane though! Thanks for turning me on to this place Kraig.
Great video, beautiful scenery. The Salomon pack you’re looking at is excellent and perfect for hiking/running. Fits like a piece of clothing. Keep the great videos coming 👍👍
We love your videos. They’re always so relaxing and they really show the whole experience. We always feel like we’re right there with you. We’ll be in this area in about 2 weeks and are super interested in this hike. Thanks for sharing. As always this video was amazing. 🤗
After a long and stressful day at work, this really helps calming down and relax. Thank you very much Mr. Adams for uploading your hiking experiences in such a pristine quality for free to watch. :)
Kraig, you're the only creator who has never made a single bad video. Your stuff always amazes me!

Read Healing back pain by Dr John Sarno. It's life changing!
