i saw Korn while they toured for their debut album.i knew that they would be huge it's so funny to hear kids say they wish they were older.i'm glad i was born in 1965 and got to experience the best music ever made.60's,70's,80's and the 90's. i went to the 20 yr anniversary tour of Rust in Peace.Megadeth, Slayer, Testament n Anthrax.saw all these bands b4.went to St.Paul n Milwaukee. most of the "music" today has already been done.it's real hard to fine a new good band anymore.
It's so weird I just saw him live a few days ago, and he looked like an old man. He has Grey hairs now and he's not this young sex symbol almost anymore. But it's crazy to me because I listened to him when I was a teenager, and I was three when this interview came out, and I just was like ten feet from him a couple of days ago. koRn's first album is so fucking good...I'ts so different and original sounding, even to this day...Admittedly, it was only in my youth did I find a real passion for their music, it doesn't exist anymore, but they were my favorite band and helped with a lot of things when I was a kid...It's weird to look back knowing I no longer have much interest in them, but I still treasure that first record.
Regarding the bagpipes; I can say as a 90s kid that it wasn't so much that I liked hearing the bagpipes, rather the fact it was done by KoRn made it instantly cool regardless of what it was. They could've released an album of pure silence and I would've bought it if only mom would've let me 😂
