    I've never considered myself flexible or thought that I could practice yoga but thanks to your clear instructions and soothing voice I know I can. I can finally feel it.

    With two bent toes and feet to move and hands to do the yoga, that exercise was an astounding idea and open heart after word about the pandemic andbarefoot on the mat worked for you while doing Day 19. We want more as you sit on the table in front of the couch. Tell us how your Kino Yoga changed for ever, Kino McGregor.

    One thing I would encourage everyone to do is pause the video and try again if kino breezes through a posture that you need more time to get into - that's one of the gifts of private practice. Took me ages to manage the half bow pose because I have short limbs and they have to rreeaally reach for each other, doing that plus balancing. a trip. But pausing and giving time and patience to getting it, or at least really trying it, before moving on, feels so much better and helps you make that journey with conviction.

    I love these videos! Perfect length, it's hard to find excuses to not give my self 15 min a day.
    My only problem is when we do scapular protractions/retractions and up and down exercises. The speed of the breathing is way too fast for me. But I can handle that. Just pausing the video and doing my own speed and then continue the practice with you. Thank you for sharing this with us and putting all that effort into making these videos!!

      +Anne “Shamisen kunoichi” Liljedahl That's for the feedback. As you get stronger maybe you'll feel more comfortable with the pace. And if not you can always follow your own breath.

    Whew! My thighs just died😂 Thanks so much Kino for always reminding to draw the belly in. While conscious on my breathing and following your flow, I thought I was doing everything correctly until you remind to draw the belly in, that's when I'll be conscious on my belly again and try to hold it all through out the practice.

    Kinoji I tried imitating your yoga mat... I drew a mid line and a reference line for Surya Namaskar and a lines which would help me do the handstand... and an Aum at the top of the mat. When I did Ashtanga Namaskar, I became an enlightened soul.. the pen ink with which I drew the line were still wet, and the Aum was on my force head. lol. 😂😀

    Really great backbending video. And how beautiful is that evening light??? 😊🙏 I've never really been able to identify with increased emotionality with backbends or hip openers, although I've heard it many times. I feel the same, I think. Maybe I'm not connected enough to my emotions? I always wonder. Is there some science behind it? Could I do something to go deeper emotionally? But again, really beautiful video, in several aspects! Really appreciating your effort and the love you pour into your work, Kino ☀️ Love x

      +Louise Vad You don't need to invite it in, when/if it happens you'll know. Meanwhile focus on the inner experience.

    Thank you for all your videos and advice. I have quite bony hips and when doing dhanurasana there's a lot of pressure on the hip bones and it's a bit painful. Is there an issue with my posture/positioning or should I just add extra cushioning on the mat when doing such poses?

    is it common to get a head ache after bow pose? right after the second bow I got a major headache I had some relief with the twisting afterward. I feel fine now but I'm just curious:)

    • @KinoYoga
      @KinoYoga  8 років тому

      +Johanna Sepal That is a common response to deep backbends. Don't worry, it will abate over time as you continue to practice.

      Stretch out your quads first and be sure that your knee is tracking in line with the hip joint.
