Sharing not only your perfection but also what reaching this perfection has cost you, what you have been struggling with for years to get here is amazing, I truly admire you. You inspire me every day, because thanks to you I already know: reaching a goal in life is hard and it requires time, patience and sacrifices, but if you are determined, you believe in yourself and never give up there is nothing impossible. It's a priviledge to start the day with you and with the energy you reflect. Blessings from HUNGARY :-)
Thank you for making this - I'm a real beginner, and it's great to be able to have starting poses that will allow for transition to full poses later down the line.
Kino, I've been practicing yoga for a few years now. The past year in particular I've been practicing ashtanga and following your social media platforms consistently. Although I am not practicing this beginner yoga challenge consistently, I've still been checking in with the daily challenges. I love the different cues you've been throwing in here and there. In June I am doing a four week Ashtanga beginners course here in Oklahoma City that goes over everything ashtanga related and I'm super excited! I also want to thank you for posting videos on "living the yogis life". It is because of you that I have been following a plant based diet since the beginning of the year, and since I have been my practice (and mind and spirit) has dramatically improved. Thank you! Shanti
I almost skipped this one because backbends intimidate me--So glad I didn't! Thank you for making backbends more attainable for me! Feeling good and feeling strong! 🙏🧘❣️
WOW, did i ever feel a rush of emotion in the intense backbends! Can't wait to keep practicing these. This was really amazing today. Already wondering what I'll do daily after this month is over... maybe I'll do it all over again!...thank you Namaste
I like doing yoga with you so much! The first thing I do in the morning is watching your video:) then, after job I have my practice. Thank you, you are great!!!
So much appreciation for these beginner's videos, Kino! Just a little comment here, there are so many commercials in the 17 minute practice, really disturbing the breath and not good for yoga practice.
Thanks for joining. Yes, I do have lots of new beginner videos. Check out my 10 or 20 minute video playlist on my channel. I will also be launching a 30 day beginner series starting June 1st. Stay tuned.
Yay! After a few times practicing this video, I'm able to do the full backbend with my head off the floor!! Thanks, Kino, you're a great teacher! I can't wait to get even more flexible thanks to your videos.
Hello Kino.... hasta allì llega mi ingles! ja ja ja ja NO entiendo lo que dices (no se inglés)... pero, ME ENCANTA COMO HACES LA YOGA, lo que proyectas, se percibe un amor muy grande por la yoga. FELICIDADES!! UN ABRAZO DESDE SUDAMÈRICA BOLIVIA ...ABRAZOSSSS
Hey Kino! I may just be your biggest fan ever ever ever. My boyfriend heard a saying that you should never meet your hero because they can let you down, but you are not like that. You are a great ambassador to yoga, and everything you've done for the yoga community is truly inspirational! I don't have an Ashtanga yoga teacher as the closest one is 45 minutes away in Philadelphia, so all that I've learned is by intense research and your videos. I consider you my teacher! One day, we will take a fun weekend trip to take your class in Miami :-) For my backbend question - is it normal that your back cracks more as it opens? Every time I get to marichyasana C, my back cracks all the way up my spine. I'm starting to think that my back is becoming too flexible too quickly? Not saying the cracking doesn't feel good, but I just don't want to cause injury later on. Thank you!!
Hey Kino! or any yogis out there in the comments? I'm experiencing a little lower back pain after this challenge, I think I may have pushed myself a bit too hard during camel and wheel pose (haven't been practicing long but I always like to see how close I can get to the full pose after trying the variations, my bad!) is there an asana you'd suggest to relax the lower back and potentially ease this pain a little? or have any tips for me? Back bend madness is next up! Namaste
Hi kino, i really struggle to make ma feet touch completely the ground in the down dog , do you have tips to helps that ?! And youre amazing, youre inspire me so much ❤️❤️❤️
Hey Kino, Thank you for your videos, I enjoy them very much and find them very helpful. I have been practising yoga consistently for 6 months now. Having natural flexibility makes practising easier and I never had problems with things like putting my legs over my head like you do at the end of the video. Though there is one thing that does not feel good: when sending my legs back to the normal lying position, my lower back hurts very much. It seems like my lower back cannot handle the switch between those positions. Does this have something to do with the stability of my lower back? Do you have any tips? I thought this would be gone after 6 months of practice, or at least that the pain after such positions got less.
Dear Kino, my back injury flared this weekend so I've been watching but not doing. Trying to keep mentally encouraging myself with the Kindness & Patience you've been teaching! I would love to see Sharath when he comes down, but clearly no primary series for me for awhile. I noticed there's a "conference" option -- do u think I could go to that and just listen? Also, will he be doing any other talks (maybe while he's in town) at the studio? xo
Wow this was amazing especially that third back bend was amazing ! There's always so much to practice and learn from :) thank you kino! May I ask What kind of mat do you have? I like that it's wider.
Hi Kino! When I do the Ustrasana, I find it hard to breathe as deeply, especially when I move my hands into prayer and come out of the pose. Is this because my back muscles need strengthening? Will I eventually be able to breathe more deeply or am I doing something incorrectly? Thank you!
That is beautiful. Thank you very much for your care and time.

Thank you Kino. This challenge i have to take it slow with my back. It's all good. An emotional one, too. Namaste.

Beautiful!

kino, I can do the bridge pose but just can't seem to lift up the shoulders to rest on the head!

Day 24 done 🥰
Good work
Hi kino, i really struggle to make ma feet touch completely the ground in the down dog , do you have tips to helps that ?! And youre amazing, youre inspire me so much ❤️❤️❤️
That's due to tightness in the legs and the back. It will open over time, keep practicing and give yourself at least a year of regular practice.
Hey Kino,
Thank you for your videos, I enjoy them very much and find them very helpful.
I have been practising yoga consistently for 6 months now. Having natural flexibility makes practising easier and I never had problems with things like putting my legs over my head like you do at the end of the video. Yes, come to the conference!!
Jai ho 🙏
I'm a beginner and new to yoga what time of day would u say is the best to do this? Mornings afternoons etc?
Whichever time you can most consistently practice :)
Wow this was amazing especially that third back bend was amazing ! There's always so much to practice and learn from :) thank you kino! May I ask What kind of mat do you have? I like that it's wider.
I like the Liforme and the Manduka mats :)
Hi Kino! When I do the Ustrasana, I find it hard to breathe as deeply, especially when I move my hands into prayer and come out of the pose. Is this because my back muscles need strengthening? Will I eventually be able to breathe more deeply or am I doing something incorrectly? Thank you!
Eventually you will be able to breathe. Sometimes it is a physical limitation and sometimes it is an emotional one.
This yoga challenge makes me feel brave and relaxed. Thank you so much for your wonderful yoga guide. It really helps me. 사랑해요♥(love you>
So good to hear. Keep practicing!
kino is it recommended to practice asanas in evening ?
I sometimes get headaches after backbends. Is this normal?
That is normal, be sure you're breathing fully and coordinating your breath with the movements. It should subside after a bit of practice.
Oooooosssssssuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!
Your soo amazing OMG thanks for another video 😊 do you not wear underwear?
