Thank you for sharing a piece of you, with us.
Yes. Wholeheartedly agree. Me too a 39yr old only child from Chicago have alot to owe to him for opening my eyes to the true face of the world . I've said since born villian that my idol is dead and his greatest lesson was all that i needed, all that i wanted i got from me. Seeing this interview makes me see both of us have killed the illusion of idols to be more comfortable in our own skin. I'm so happy for him. I still have ways to go. I would love to talk to him more now than i did when i was 16.
39 keeps coming up lately. I’m 39 too. And yes, I realize many people are 39 lol, I’m just saying I’ve been seeing the number all over the place. Although, i would notice the number of my age more than others.. so the only real meaning it has, is that which I give it.
Odd Eye Our age (especially MM fans) shared a very life changing experience our last year in High School. We got pushed into a different world after CB. Adulthood gave us more than just the average welcome package of anxiety and fear driven panic inducers. Growing up during the Satanic panic era, the 700 Club brainwashing our families, that who we are is evil before we even formed a personality of our own. We’re a special kind of messed up in our own ways. Gravitated to the ones that subconsciously recognize our age or notice it more since more people our age are beyond fed up with a lot and speaking out more. Also, it’s a wonderful number and given time, I could probably spin a handful of conspiracy theories about it.
Spooky Spoonie If by CB you’re referring to Columbine, I was kicked out of school the year before that happened. They couldn’t stand me there. In one class, a girl said she wishes there’d be a bomb threat so we could get out of school. I looked at her and jokingly responded “...wait.” She just turned back around. In my next class, the principle came in with some cops, apparently she told the teacher in the other class, then the teacher told the principal that SHE heard me make the threat. Even though she was at her desk at the front with 3 students up there talking to her, and the rest of the class was talking among themselves. So she lied & said she heard it too. They searched my bag, found this makeup case with a hidden compartment that had a black and white picture taped to it of Marilyn Monroe & Charles Manson, a razor with dried blood on it, & more makeup. Absolutely NO bombs though.. 😆 Then, they went to my house, my dads house, and my grandparents house to search through everything in every room. Still no bombs. They got a good look at my room though. I wrote and drew all over the walls for years. I had a lot of odd things I collected. There was also a locked old magicians trunk my grandpa gave me. I kept it in the ceiling above my closet. It had things that reminded me of my grandpa in it, he had passed away not long before that, and was the person I was closest to in the world. Seeing them pull it down slowly and opening it was hilarious. Anyway, since they didn’t find anything at all, I figured everything would be fine. But the school still expelled me. I didn’t bother going to another school, I started working at an old hospital instead, then got my GED the next year. Sorry, was just reminded of that. I hadn’t thought of that in awhile. ☺️

There is something he touched on about reaching people like him , and ones who benefit from his music / art. My husband probably doesn't fit into the Mason demographic. He is older than I , a whole generation - " Boomer" - over 60 years old. A black man from Detroit . Very old school in a lot of ways. I've been listening and loving Manson for approx 25 +/- years . I took him to see Marilyn about 6 years ago . From then on Manson has been " his boy ". He loves the lyrics, his voice , he says Manson's music is beautiful . Of course he'll watch any series or movie Mason has a part in. I'm so glad I could share the joy I have in and from Marilyn with him.
i think we mostly talk about how he looks good, like, better than before, not making us afraid of losing him like we lost so many others....you know? (english isn't my first langage)
His voice actually sounds much cleaner than before. His voice has always been amazing but for some reason it sounds much cleaner in the new songs too. I really like them.
It’s so beautiful to see him truly happy and not afraid to open up about his mental struggles. That’s such a hard thing to do and it takes so much courage. I will always look up to Brian as a role model and a wonderful musician. He seems so much happier and bright. He’s sober and he’s literally glowing. We love to see it.

He said we had no idea what was coming for this record. Sober Marilyn Manson is a new force to be reckoned with. Loving the direction of his mental state and his well spoken-ness
This man is amazing and amazingly underrated. So many people have the image of him as the "screaming rebel burning the bible" but he was never just that. He's art & his soul have always had so many layers to them. I love him and I love the album! 🖤🖤🖤
So true. The kids that had everything handed to them turned out as bullies. I was one of the bullied the picked on and developed BPD and social anxiety because of it. My view obviously would be different then others but my view is for me.
Broken Needle is my fav song too, I think the whole album is amazing, it has something for different musical tastes. The message in each song is deep and emotional.

Manson is extremely intelligent and reflective, love seeing him in interviews where that shines through. It definitely shows on We Are Chaos, highly recommend everyone listens to it!
I love the new album. It draws up alot of emotion and memories of things I haven't thought about in a very long time. And Marilyn Manson helped me get through 6th grade and up. All the BS I had to deal with as a child and teenager. And my favorite line from my favorite songs on the album " I'm not special, I'm just broken and don't want to be fixed" I love that line. It's truth.
This is the most beautiful interview with Marilyn that I’ve ever seen. He is so calm while talking and he’s much more open to his ideas and what he thinks. 🖤I have been a fan for almost 3 years now and he is such an inspiration to me.
Manson seems to have found himself again and really made an epic album. One of his best, imo we are chaos is timeless. Album Of The Year, a bright spot during trying times.
I lost my mother and husband a week apart in 2014. Very difficult to deal with, or grieve as my mother lived with my older sister who completely fell apart. Dealing with getting my hubby's celebration if life, and both cremations is nothing I'd wish on my worst enemy. Can relate to the dark period of his loss. Has taken 6 yrs to come to grip's with my loss.
This is great and at this point in my life I am trying to live in the here and now, and stop this and rethinking my past. Because my past can not be changed, my attitude about it can.

Looks old, fat and like he's been doing coke his whole life
There is something he touched on about reaching people like him , and ones who benefit from his music / art.
Paint you with my love and perfume are the hits on this amazing album 🤘🏽
Exactly!
He's always handled interviews very intelligently. Much respect for his intellect.
HANDS DOWN. ONE OF THE, IF NOT THE BEST INTERVIEWS WITH MANSON.
Over 25yrs of listening to this man and it never gets old. My eyes and ears are stuck.
I love how everyone’s just talking about how he’s not drunk
he's also calm and confident. glad to see him like that finally.
Sounds like a sinus infection on top of alcohol
i think we mostly talk about how he looks good, like, better than before, not making us afraid of losing him like we lost so many others....you know? (english isn't my first langage)
Idk what gives ppl that impression. Lack of experience with drugs and alcohol
Is it just me that thinks he's slurring his words like he is drunk?
Absolutely loved "broken needle" and "paint you with love" he's literally a genuis and one of the greatest artists out there
His voice actually sounds much cleaner than before. His voice has always been amazing but for some reason it sounds much cleaner in the new songs too. I really like them.
“Everyone has a passion, once you find it. It shuts out all the Darkness around you”
I really felt that 🖤🖤🖤
He sounds so focused and sober... and with enthusiasm, I love it, so happy for him 💓 love the new album
Have you seen Evan Rachel Wood’s testimony?
@@disintegrateallhumans4800 no, where can I see it?

It’s so beautiful to see him truly happy and not afraid to open up about his mental struggles. That’s such a hard thing to do and it takes so much courage. I will always look up to Brian as a role model and a wonderful musician. He seems so much happier and bright. He’s sober and he’s literally glowing. We love to see it.
He looks and sounds like happy person. I hope that he will stay like that ❤️ adorable person
I am a New Zealander and its sooo sweet to hear Manson call our accent beautiful! Ive been a Manson fan for 20 years, I love his music and his art, his music has got me through some really bad times in my life, and also good times. I love his new album I think it is freaking amazing!!! 🤘😈🤘
He said we had no idea what was coming for this record. Sober Marilyn Manson is a new force to be reckoned with. Loving the direction of his mental state and his well spoken-ness
Didn’t he say in the interview that he‘s not sober?
He's not sober thou.
@@shadowfreaktv2031 Yes. He said that exact line before too. Means he'll never stop.
I just love how stylish Manson is. I want to see his wardrobe.
Me too.
Same
thank you 😊
@@marilynmanson1027 ?
@@Shadamyfan-rs8xc what?
He needs to do an audio book or sleep meditation because manson's speaking voice is so hypnotizing and soothing.
Marilyn!!! The voice. More like the personality behind the eyes that influence the voice and how I'm reading him is more like his true self than ever.
This man is amazing and amazingly underrated. So many people have the image of him as the "screaming rebel burning the bible" but he was never just that. He's art & his soul have always had so many layers to them. I love him and I love the album! 🖤🖤🖤
Have you seen Evan Rachel Wood’s testimony?
@@disintegrateallhumans4800 She never named anyone by name, stop harrassing people over speculation.
I really enjoyed this interview, and Manson seems to be in a good place
Just wish this smear campaign wasn't ruining his life. He's JUST getting his life back together!
So true. The kids that had everything handed to them turned out as bullies. I was one of the bullied the picked on and developed BPD and social anxiety because of it.
I know it'll only happen in my dreams but I wish someday I could meet Marilyn. To meet him and get to see him as he truly is and get to keep that for myself. My view obviously would be different then others but my view is for me.
Same here
Watch Evan Rachel Wood’s testimony.
The boy that you love
Is the man that you fear
@@disintegrateallhumans4800 She never named anyone by name, stop harrassing people over speculation.
Manson is looking so good! 😃
Yes he really is
Manson's environment looks like the set of the Slo-mo-tion video.
That was my first thought too !!
Looks quite enchanting
Broken Needle is my fav song too, I think the whole album is amazing, it has something for different musical tastes. The message in each song is deep and emotional.
Is it just me or is Manson getting more amazing and brilliant every year.. love this guy 🖤 pure genius and artist!
he’s doing so good and it makes me wanna cry🥺🥺🖤
Last words hits hard 😔
I appreciate how you channel your strength towards us
Im in need of that thank you
Great interview. I wish it was longer.
It’s really great
On his channel theres the longer version of the interview!
Probably reiterating what has already been said but as soon as he started speaking you can tell the persona has been dropped massively. He’s being authentic and genuine here and it’s great to see.
He comes off very sensitive and cerebral in this interview. Manson has been through a lot the last few years and I love the new album. He keeps creating & evolving and I'm glad I've been a fan since the Spooky Kids era plus he's never looked and sounded better.
Have you seen Evan Rachel Wood’s testimony?.
@@disintegrateallhumans4800it's a non factor. Ask Rose MG about her ongoing friendship/relationship w Manson. I think you need to look into ERW a bit before casting judgment on two celebrities we don't personally know
@@disintegrateallhumans4800 She never named anyone by name, stop harrassing people over speculation.
@disintegrateallhumans4800 no way you're commenting this on nearly every comment 💀Your comment did not age well because she admitted to false allegations
OMG his voice sounds good and he seems so much sharper than previous years interviews. Also he looks like he's in good health again. Really glad to see this because I love his music and want him to be around for a long time.
Absolutely loving this new Manson album. It is my favorite from him since Holy Wood. So glad to see him so healthy, articulate, and clear of mind.
It's truth.
I absolutely love him. He is such a deep, creative and reflective individual. And I love the symbolism behind the new CD. Genius 🖤
I want a shirt like that. The program is very good.
This is probably the best interview I've ever seen with Manson. He sounds very vulnerable but in a good way.
He sounds and looks healthier I’m so happy for him
So glad to see Marilyn in such a great place in his life..
I really love listening to him speak in videos! He is So freaking Funny and Cool! I just Love him , his music and everything about him! He’s so real!
first time in my life after listening to Marilyn Mansons interview I just want to hug him.
He's always so intelligent just one of the reasons we all love Manson
Goodness, he seems to be in such a great shape and a great place mentally. Love seeing him like this
"Now's the time to come together & not in a hippie way."- MM
😂🤣🤣🤣😂 I need this on a t-shirt! Just luv this guy!! 😜😋
I loveeeee everything he creates but this album is beyond words.
This is great and at this point in my life I am trying to live in the here and now, and stop this and rethinking my past. Because my past can not be changed, my attitude about it can.
Been listening to manson since 4th grade,96
This made my day better thank you Marilyn Manson
Manson is a f****ing genius! A true gift to humankind, deeply emotional person. Bless you Manson!
Zane Lowe is outstanding in his interviews with Manson.
10sec in and im like awww.. he said "No it wasnt" he sounded so gentle.. my heart ❤️.. I love your album, i played the playlist while sleeping, it really helped with my insomnia. Thank you. 🥰
Notice he is not wearing any of his many rings he usually wears. Only his wedding ring and one other ring on his pinky. Also, great interview!
Who is he married too. Last i heard n seem on his Insta he's only dating lindsay usich
@@hopelee9724 Johnny Deep
Maybe engaged 🤷🏻♂️
@Michael Long He is. To Lindsay Usich. Got married earlier this year. They dropped some hints on Insta and she liked every comment congratulating them. It's pretty obvious.
@Michael Long I hope so too. Sure thing 🖤
I adore that man.... He keeps me sane..
Omg Marilyn Manson is happy again! 😍Marilyn Manson is truly back!
I always enjoy interviews with Marilyn
His new album is gorgeous, and that's a weird descriptor for Manson, but I stand by it.
I'm so so proud of him
THIS INTERVIEW IS NOT LONG ENOUGH 😫🥺
marilyn manson has been such a huge influence on me my entire life. i just adore him.
Brian looks quite relaxed, during the conversation, almost 30 years it took him to get on well in an interview ... It is a very entertaining dialogue ...
Absolutely Love his new Music♥️
Nice interview. I generally love when Lowe interviews Manson.
The room he's in, is decorated so lovely🖤
i really am digging this new album, its almost like the best of pale emporor and the best of heaven upside down mixed together....glad i was able to order one of limited exclusive picture disc vinyls, there were only 1000 made.
Best feeling of 2020, was listening to the album in full. Favourite song is "paint you with my love" .. phenomenal
Marilyn manson is a legend the new record is outstanding as ever he's the real deal no bs very creative and deep insperation to everyone great interview 👍👍
I tell you, I think this is the best interview I have ever seen Manson do. I think he has found a place in his life where he is content. I think we are going to see lots more of Manson......congratulations on a wonderful album.
Fantastic album! Congrats on album and matrimony 🖤🖤🖤
His voice sounds very soft and calmy♡
He sounds so fragile and sentimental. I miss his whiskey voice, but this is a new side of mister Manson, which is such a revelation.
He tweaking hard
Coke will do that
Good talk here. Zane is great at giving space and pushing the conversation forward when needed.
