I'm originaly from Indiana & had never had Cajun food till my family moved to Mississippi when I was 16 , at 18 I had my first bite of Cajun food & was hooked. The aunt of my boy friend / future husband ( Now my ex - husband ) lol .She was a cajan living in Louisiana , loved visiting her & eating her awesome food , she gave me her recipes but mine just never comes out the same . For years after her death we had not been back there . Till our daughter moved to Louisiana & married a Louisiana man & she was there for 7 years . I learned how to cook a lot of good food. Caught ur video while trying to refresh my memory on a shrimp boil while using her recipe, due to health issues its been meny year since I cooked them .
