This man is a national treasure, protect him at all cost.
Definitely
Man your accent is so unique. It’s like country south, with a hint of that street shit, with a side of good ole twang to it......legit 👌🏽
Thank you I appreciate it
I love it too! It is unique 👌 😊
I could listen to him all day. Love that accent.
Like gambit

“It’s going down in the neighborhood”- Ralphthebaker 😂
A breath of fresh air on the internet. No fluff, no fakeness just good cooking! New sub.
The most underrated chef of all time
Hey thank you
@@Ralphthebaker I hope u can answer this so today I'm going to do this for my sister for her bday. However I'm doing shrimp since I couldnt find any live crabs however I did find some lobster tails. So my question is if I'm going to put them in the boil should I cut the shell open before or after I cook them my 1st thought is to cut it open 1st however idk if that's gonna make the lobster fall apart
@@tommygunn1671 dont cut the lobster. keep it whole
“We don’t want to boil no fish - throw him out 😂🤣😃 Awesome channel brother - keep’em coming!!!
Ralph you just made me want to come to new Orleans even more
That’s what I’m talking about. 🙌
I love New Orleans can't wait to come back ..🤩🤩
If you haven’t been? Please make that trip.
@@Ralphthebaker yo you know if yall having mardi gras? Or is it officially cancelled because of covid. I haven’t heard anything yet out this way
I've always wanted to come down there glad I found your videos Mr Ralph
I'm originaly from Indiana & had never had Cajun food till my family moved to Mississippi when I was 16 , at 18 I had my first bite of Cajun food & was hooked. The aunt of my boy friend / future husband ( Now my ex - husband ) lol .She was a cajan living in Louisiana , loved visiting her & eating her awesome food , she gave me her recipes but mine just never comes out the same . For years after her death we had not been back there . Till our daughter moved to Louisiana & married a Louisiana man & she was there for 7 years .
I learned how to cook a lot of good food. Caught ur video while trying to refresh my memory on a shrimp boil while using her recipe, due to health issues its been meny year since I cooked them . Gonna try tomarrow ,thanks for sharing & love ur accent. God bless u & yours.
we moved to vegas when i was a kid but seeing food like this from my hometown makes me wish i grew up there
I have seen many cooking video but no one as Ralph's the way he explains it .. simple and to the point .. amazing work bud..thanx
thank you so much I really appreciate it.
“It’s absolutely delicious” I wait for you to say that in every video! Keep the quality rolling!
Thank you 🙌
Just spent a week in NOLA for a work conference. This channel made me go out in that July humidity to eat as much authentic food as I could. No regerts.
That ice trick is SMART AF!!!! Definitely doing a boil tomorrow 😋
Oh yes 🙌🍤🙌
That’s common knowledge across south Louisiana
water hose works good too on the outside of course
@@jeffphillips5210 That works good too. It’s actually the inspiration for the boil boss accessory for the crab boil pot. Once you use a boil boss, you notice the difference it’s like night and day and you don’t have to water down the liquid with ice so it stays potent for the soak
legit every time i see his videos I want to go to Louisiana and I'm from jersey
Thank you I appreciate the support and I’m happy you’re enjoying the videos
My ex was from New Orleans, LA (actually Terrytown, LA) and your recipe is exactly how I was taught by her family (4th generation native Louisianians) to make an excellent shrimp boil. Worked perfect every time. Best to you in 2021.
You kill it New Orleans we can’t be beat
🙌
You know your shrimp are fresh when they still have a straggler fish mixed in.
Awesome recipe, brother.
Subbed! I've been cooking professionally for over 12 years now, and I can tell you this man knows what he's doing.
Okay Ralph...well you done started something...now my boyfriend is in the kitchen trying to talk with a New Orleans accent...yeah...trying to sound like Ralph...I told him

I’m Ralph’s actual neighbor and I can honestly say, he makes the air outside smell quite delicious. I love watching him make these videos cause
Theo Von needs to have you on his podcast. Straight up. 🔥
I love it when you have to keep telling people to keep the skins on the onions. Its like one of your signature phrases. Lol 😂
I followed this recipe and it all turn out perfect. Everything was just as Ralph said it would be. I can't wait to try his crab boil next. Ralph is th real deal. I was born and raised in Baton Rouge. Louisiana cooking at it's finest.
I laughed so hard because of the technical difficulties. That describes my life daily. If it was only for your fish boil, ya'll in some damned good shape!!!💙💙💙💙
Lol thank you 🙌🙌
Watching you in CALI and let me tell you we love seafood but I know for a fact we don't get the flavors like you do!! 🔥🔥🔥

A southern thing.. lol
Born and raised in Port Sulfur and I'm tellin ya'll this man is the Cajun King of seafood, no doubt. I trust anything this man says whenever it comes to traditional Louisiana food. Hope to see more recipes coming from you soon, brother.

Thanks a lot 🙏 all the way from London, England.
Wow! That’s a delicious shrimp boil right there! I’m jonesing for some now. 👩🍳😋
🙌🙌
Great video looked so good
Thank you
Hell yeah what a great video. I wished I lived in a place that serves food like this.
OMG! After watching all of your shorts I finally got to your main channel. Woohoo! You’re so authentic and real, just like most of us here. It’s much appreciated and, to be honest, relieving. Seeing the same ingredients we all have access to (wish I had that fresh jumbo shrimp deal close by me tho!), that’s the relieving part but to see what you do with them and the order in which you do them, the sharing of your recipes…..flat out awesome. Thank you so much! Turn on some ads! It’s the least we can do. Checking now to see if you have a website. Tried going to one in a short you mentioned and it wouldn’t load, like the page was broken. Maybe just an iPhone thing. Anyway, got our support fully, and thank you again!
I love shrimp mmmmmm I can watch this type on vid all the time I love it
Lol 🙌🍤🍤
Im a new viewer and im defiantly sticking around💪🔥
Thank you
I love all of the videos you do man. Hell of a chef I'd say. You make me wanna come over your house for lunch, and supper lol

I'm Muslim out of curiosity do u have any halal style foods
Hey I’ll definitely post a video for you absolutely.
@@Ralphthebaker bro that's love
Pretty sure this is halal. But you'll probably have to substitute the sausages with a halal meat or something else
@@TantiPraenuntiaFabam yeah that's it its just the sausages
Hey man, you trying to adopt a 26 year old broke PhD student? I can do the dishes.
Bruh! I spit kool-aid all across my tablet lol. I wasn't ready xD
Ralph cook great hardy meals and make it easy and simple for us to try and cook it ourselves also he seem so relatable
When he says “Ok” I’m answering back 😂
I’ve been to New Orleans a couple times and once for Mardi Gras in 2015 I went to a very big boil and it truly was life-changing the food is incredible
