- Little Feat - Feats Don't Fail Me Now (Live In Holland 1976)
Available Now: mercury-studios.lnk.to/Little...
Founded by Lowell George and Bill Payne in L.A. in 1969 they produced a series of highly original albums over the next decade featuring an eclectic blend of rock 'n' roll, blues, country, folk, soul and jazz before the death of Lowell George in 1979 brought the first phase of the band's existence to an end. This digital video captures the band's performance at the famous Dutch festival Pinkpop on 7 June 1976 and captures the band's classic line-up at the peak of their powers performing many of their best known tracks.

Best version of this song. Spent 12 years on the railway, on night shift. This was our song at 4am with sun coming up. Rolling those big badass EMD locomotives thru the night. Best time of my life.
Thanks for sharing
Sound track for Ditching a bunch of classes, essentially all four years of H.S.
My late parents adored Little Feat. They saw them 2 nights straight in Sydney Aus front row and rocked their socks off. They got a set of signed Little Feat maraca's handed to them by Lowell George!!
Do you still have them? That's just awesome...👣
@@francesquasney6025 No don't know what my late Father ended doing with them
@@francesquasney6025 cool
Best rock band ever..kick everybodies ass with talent
Thank you technology for allowing me to see this ! Little Feat Forever
Lowell George was the real Rock&Roll Doctor!! Ahead of all the other slide players in his day. Even the big major British rock stars thought they were the best Rock&Roll Band in the world.
I was there. It was awesome! My first "Feet"--gig live! AWESOME!
Lowell with 2 handfuls of maracas......."heard you got the biggest......truck in town..." R.I.P. Lowell, Paul and Richie
That face at 3:12 when Lowell accidentally nails an audience member with a maraca! 😂
I was there 😅❤
Damn Lowell George was so cute and what a voice!!!!!
Linda Ronstadt thought so too. They had a little fling before she found out he was married. Lowell's wife showed up at her door one morning and enlightened her.
He was very cute, even when carrying a bit too much weight.
@@AbbyNormal777 From what I've read about Linda I think she would never knowingly do that to another woman.
Words don’t fail me now. Best rock and roll band ever.
Amsterdam is still a blast but I can only dream about those days in that stoned city.
I always liked this song . Takes me back to my younger days .
Hello Linda how are you doing hope you’re having a great time with your family may God bless you and your family
Yeah, that was in Geleen, the Netherlands. Pinkpop 1976. I was there, very close to the fence. Seems like yesterday. Uriah Heep was there, the Jess Roden Band, The Outlaws, Streetwalkers, Chieftains. All for 10 or 15 guilders, which would translate to 5 or 7 dollars. Those were the days my friends.
Greatest band ever (along with Free)
violently agree with this
TRUE !
How come they don’t make music like that anymore ? I mean no human being can sit still listening to this, no ?
Phish is still crushing Derek trucks
Because Lowell is no longer with us, there will never be another!
Because music has been taken over by production.
Let It Roll is my personal favorite, but I can't be still to this one, either. 👍✌️
Because it’s all about looks and not mucianship
RIP Paul Barrere.
And Lowell George, Richy Hayward
Most folks who got to hear Little Feat didn't realize the quality they were hearing.
because you could read their minds?
@@jofinsky8400 No. Because they couldn't anticipate the commonality of smart asses making pointless replies to detract from the original comment.
This whole show used to be up. Best version of “Fat Man In The Bathtub”. It’s crazy to think he’d be dead in two years at the young age of 34.
Saw them at the Baltimore Civic Center. When they sang the line roll on through to Baltimore place went nuts.
richdys I second that. I was there.
My first concert was at the Civic Center, Jethro Tull in '70. Maybe '71. Was 12 or 13. Wish I'd have caught these guys there.
I think Poco opened. Friends had front row, my buddy caught one of Lowell's maracas he tossed
"I know it's daylight but...roll right through the night" lmao
Wow! One of my favourite bands ever! This is fantastic. Thanks Eagle Rock 😀
RIP Paul
feats baby!!
I tried to get in to see them at Max's Kansas City in NYC way back when they first came to New York City.... couldn't get near the place......great band.....
Thank you so much for posting this..saw Lowell many times, but it's hard to find good quality video..this is BEAUTIFUL!
私の好きなバンドばかりありがとう❤️🍀🌷🍀🌷🍀🌸🍀🌸🍀💞
Just got a copy of the show and DVD from Santa!!! Boss!! Love me some Feats!!
...right through... DIG IT
Okay this is my favorite live Lowell George and Little Feat song. Thank you for uploading. I really appreciate this.
Haven't heard this since college. A long time ago 👍🏿
Ain't never been a group since to compare. I went to Hopkins ,all the bands in Fells Point Maryland played all this great dancing music. I DID have to study. But we had many a dancing nights w/Little Feat.
Saw them at the Main Point in Ardmore, two notes in a row!
Best band ever! Ho are they not in the rock HOF??
Priceless.
I'll always love Little Feat!
Absolutely brilliant 💯
Impressive. I love
In 1981 I actually drove a camper into New York City with the skyline in the morning light after rolling right through the night. Never saw such a sight again.
I came late to the Feat washing. It was 1990 at the Orpheum threater in Minneapolis. Love these guys.
Exciting time for us all
This is your chance to ask questions to the Little Feat man, Bill Payne in a rare live Google Hangout.
Watch live Thursday May 8th at 3pm EDT / 8pm BST on UA-cam or www.BillPayneHangout.com

They needed 10 more minutes on this tune and it would have been legendary,,,,
i say !WOW
At 3:09 look at Lowell’s expression after he throws that last maraca I wonder if he hit someone with it on accident 😂
the matinee crowd
[3:02] Maracas for the people! Hell yeah!
These dudes are mega talents but their music has never grabbed my soul, like countless others have.
Taylor Swift fan?😂
I'd rather go to chemo. @@kyzor-sosay6087
Great channel Eagle Rock!
At church....love it
The Fat Man in The Bauthtub from this Pink Pop festival was the best version ever recorded.
Where is it?
Right,Pink-Pop,bewn away by this.
Taj Mahal does a stupendous, horn-tastic version of this also...
The most none instrumental of their tunes. A good old sing along.
69. One foot's failing.
Yes that is a Dumble.
LG a Hollywood High grad
LG smart enough to not hog the spotlight and include Barrere then again it was a true rock roll ensemble.
Where U there Dave ???
is that bill bailey sleeping @ 1.52?
Lowell in a white hat and no white overalls??? 🙄😁 Still love you anyway, dude..miss you..saw them with the singer from Pure Prairie League, but it wasn't the same!! 😁
MORE COWBELL
They were contenders. Then Lowell died :(
theres the dumble
What an interesting stage setup. Pretty secure looking. Where was this? Eagle Rock thanks!
I think this was the Pink Pop festival.
3:14 Whoops got him.
Lowell George was basically Little Feat.
Ouch - good ! not just regular good.
Man, Dutch hippies were scurvy looking.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is for people too stupid to appreciate Little Feat
The last performance was a shame in Paradiso..so stoned these guys,so utterly non-shameles and non sense LONGGG solo's : this is not FEAT.: Hold your head up guys: you are payed from your past: and that's what we like to hear: Like Todd Rungren,Chaka Khan: time to resent and make things up: this concert was going nowhere, and you know it: there are real fans in HOLLAND
I know they are in Holland and most of them don't speak English, but c'mon please how hard is "ROLL RIGHT THROUGH THE NIGHT"? they had to be so high Jesus, half of those hippies are asleep in their own vomit.
They look quite upright to me. Actually, most Europeans speak far better than you lot, Captain America.
How many languages do you speak?
Because music today, for the most part, sucks.
Always thought they were over rated
