Wow massive improvements since last video! Your in the right gears now man!!! You’ll get the shifting aspect of riding soon!
That's the plan!
Love the bike! I’m a new rider and I’m torn between getting a cfmoto 450ss or the ninja 500 se. the Cfmoto came out to about $8000 at the dealership and idk about the ninjas price. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Tbh i dont know too much about the Cfmoto 450, but it looks like they’re both around the same price range!
Shifts look so much more smooth and confident today. Nice improvement brother. Just imagine you're banging the gears in that Civic Si again... but with your hands
Thank you bro! Most definitely one day!
if possible, use the disclock on the rear disc, it wont make you drop the bike as easily if you forget it again, or just get one of those disclock reminders to put on your handlebars.
Ooo i’ll try that out
Did you tighten your throttle yet.. I bet and looks like you have 1/2 inch of free play. Should only be 3-4mm
Im so new to motorcycles that i didnt even know about that! Now you got me thinking 🤔
@@moto.nyc718be very very careful.. it can scratch your stuff up . Or take off. You need to be 100% comfortable with throttle and clutch control. And pick bike up a little to make sure the back tire is making contact
Nice ride! I think I see your rev matching? That’s cool I’m just learning that. Looks like that last turn went a bit wide because your gear shifting lurched you forward, not sure. Haha I just finished eating McDonald’s
Also looking where you wanna turn, MSF drilled that into us hard 😂
Exactly!! Shoulda turned my head more haha
better fix ur free play cable or youll be replacing youe clutch in no time.
Appreciate it! No more free play!
the "whats up brother" got me lol
😆😆
I see when you gesr downyou "shadow " yours front brake. Please don't that is how i crashed by yanking it when I hit a speed bump. I stead "shadow" your rare brakes the apply pressuse to back and front brake.
noted!
turns take awhile. At first, it feels like the bike is going to slide out from underneath.
That! Plus i think i looked at the car way longer than i should’ve
Down to ride sometime I’m in nyc too
what's the camera? nice vid
Making a video on it soon…but its from DJI!
Nice video. +New subscriber
thank you!
Saw ur asthma pump take black seed oil twice a day eat healthy forb1 week ur asthma should be gone
It was my yellow brake lock, which i forgot to take off before leaving the lot! 😭 but thanks for the tip tho!
Can you explain the timing for shifting to me? Everyone else I asked ignored me and I find it a little confusing.
higher speed=higher gear and you also determine when to change gears by the speed of the engine (known as RPMs). According to the kawasaki manual (Vehicle speed when shifting 1st to 2nd (17mph or 28 km/h), 2nd to 3rd (30 mph or 48 km/h), so on and so forth.
@@moto.nyc718sorry I meant like going from clutch to changing the amount of throttle and like the actual shifting motion. How do you time very thing so you don’t ruin your transmission?
Basically the clutch is what bridges your engine to your transmission. So you need to press in clutch, change gear, then let go of clutch. There’s something called a “bite point” where the engine and transmission will start to engage with one another and it’s important you figure out where it is on your bike.
You have to match wheel speed (mph) and engine speed (rpm) depending on which gear you’re on. Long story short…maybe i should make a video about it haha
Here’s the steps i do to change gears. Step 1- Left hand presses clutch. Step 2- Left foot changes gear. Step 3- Left hand release clutch while giving some throttle with right hand
@@kylo5151 Ok so the great thing about this is that since motorcycles have a wet clutch you don't have to worry too much about damaging your transmission when you are learning!
A good first step is to find a parking lot, turn on your bike and put it in first gear. Just slowly let out the clutch until you feel the transmission grabbing and the bike moving forward. then you can start giving it a little bit of throttle and continue to let go of the clutch until you are moving! Once you need to shift to your next gear you just let off the throttle, pull in the clutch (you can do both at the same time) shift to the next gear, then let out the clutch. If you give it too much gas when you let go of the clutch it might feel jerky, but after that its just getting used to the motions.
What helmet are u using?
AGV K6s!
Why is that ugly Kawasaki green so popular?
I think it’s cuz there’s so many green emoji’s we can use for it! 💚✅🌲🌴🐍🐸☘️🌿🍃🥑🌱🐢🦖🐛📚🌳🧤🥝🦎🥗🥦🥒🍏🦜⛳️🦠🥬🚛🧩🗽🐊❎🎍✳️🛶🟩🟢📗❇️🈯️🔰🪀🩲🍋🟩🪲🎋🫑🍐♻️🫒🦚💹🧃🫛🍵🪴👒🥭🧑🎤🧪🤑
