I also have a ninja 500, I’m at 150 miles so far. Have you stuck strictly to the break in period recommendations or just kinda done your own thing? Wondering if not following strictly will ruin my bike lol
Indian fan here bro amazing loved your video....I want more supply
could you make a video to give an overview of all the gears you got since you started this journey?
Crazy how a video like this can take one back in time. Be safe out there.💪🔥
Thanks!
X5 competition?that is a beast of a car your moms got 👌 sounded so good when started it up at the gas station
Lol close! It’s a X3MC that i own…drove my car back since i was on the bike 😆
Wow super good video. This March I will be taking my big motorcycle license. And I'm really pleased to see how much fun but also how much respect you have for the road and the bike. Which cell phone holder do you use on your motorcycle? Kind regards from Germany 🤝🏻💪🏻
You got this! I’m using quad lock
Brand new rider. "Better put my phone on there so i can see it" lol. Stupid. Also when the bike is parked, leave it in first gear. Never leave a parked bike in Neutral.
who needs a couch, mans his own motivation!
Long time no see! I plan on getting a Ninja 500 this year!
Is there specific glasses that you ride with? How does it fit with your helmet? I appreciate your info , you are doing a great job!
Nothing specific, my frames are pretty thin and light weight.
Always be careful with new tires, they can be really slick in turns. Cheers.
Yessir! Thank you
I appreciate the info. Thanks!
this is definitely one of the better first ride videos i seen. some of them have me wondering if they ever rode a pedal bike or driven a car on the road.
Lol thank you!
What a spot to chill 🙌. Bike looking slick man. Happy new years. 🎉
Keep up the good work! I am a new rider. Just got my permit. I got a used Honda Shadow. Love it. Getting used to the ride.
Congrats on your permit! Ride safe!
Way to go. You have a great attitude. Best way to live to ride another day.
Appreciate it!
ninja500se How much is it?
@@ONE_12_ i made a video on it a while back! It breaks down all the cost of owning a motorcycle
@ So how much is the motorcycle?
@ I'm Korean, so it's hard to understand your language. I can't stock SE models in Korea, so I'm just asking you to tell me the price to know how much it costs.
@@ONE_12_all good! It was around $7900 out the door (including taxes, prep, fees, etc.) Thanks for the support!
@@ONE_12_then non abs version is around 6k out the door
I had a 2024 Ninja 500 40th SE, loved that bike for all 4000 miles. Just upgraded her to a Zx6R. Be safe out there and enjoy the ride!
@@viciouspeanut3335 congrats man! Maybe that’ll be me in the future haha. Ride safe!
Did you have to flash the ecu after that slip on?
Nope!
Happy new years, I think I watched your original videos when you were a new rider. Good to see you still upright! I was new too! I need those winter gauntlets too lol
love those fan little thingy .
Good looking bike. I might want one of these...🤓
It rides well too!
First!! Happy almost 2025. I wish you health, wealth and happiness! 🇺🇸
We have missed you dude, welcome back!
Hopefully more to come haha
Still liking the Ninja 500? It's a great bike, I tell my friends they can't go wrong with a Ninja 500 or Z500 if they're looking to start riding, they're pretty much perfect. I loved my Z400, I just traded it in and got a Z650 recently but nothing will ever compete with my first bike. Best first bike ever. Oh and for that leak, you can get an extra clamp and put on the pipe over the leak and tighten it down, I had a similar problem on my Z400 when I got a LeoVince can for it and there was a small leak just past where the clamp was so I put my clamp from my original can over the leak and it stopped. Just a thought.
The 500’s been great so far! Thanks for the tip on the exhaust, ill try to make something work haha
@moto.nyc718 no prob, good luck bro
Bros back 💯💯, stay safe out there
Yessir! Thank you 🤙🏼
451 gang! Also what mount are you using to film on?
Not exactly sure what brand, but i got off of amazon 😅 its a metal mount that sticks on to the AGV K6s helmet. Similar to a chin mount but wayy sturdier
bro got upgrades
I call it the amazon special 🤣😅
So happy you have a new video up already! I subscribed last night because I’m thinking about getting a ninja 250 and I wanted to see your series from buying your ninja all the way until I caught up which was about 5 AM. I took a nice edible and I was so relaxed and I watched you buy your bike drive off the lot until the last video Where you laid it down by mistake. I’m so happy to see that you’re back making videos again. You’re very knowledgeable and I find your videos. Very interesting! Thanks again!
Thanks so much for the support!Congrats in advance if you decide to get a bike!
@ question I wanted to ask you. At 6 foot one, 275 pounds am I too tall and or too heavy for a ninja 250? It’s a 2023 with 350 miles on it and the seller is asking $1500 in pristine condition garage kept.
In my opinion, with the power to weight ratio. You would probably be better off with at least a ninja 400 minimum. Especially if you plan to ride it on the highway. Reason being, for safety…you wouldn’t get up to speed fast enough when merging or over taking vehicles with a 250cc.
@@moto.nyc718 thanks for the reply. I’m not intending on taking it on highway I’m more intending for Sunday morning 45 mile an hour top speed country roads. Does that change your opinion or should I still look for a higher cc bike?
Welcome back
It’s been a while! 😅
Got my first bike 2 days ago. A ninja 650. Jumped on the highway first thing to take it home cause that’s better than doing 100 stop lights home. No prior experience. A lot easier than I imagined. 😂 Also, I forgot how much cooler it would be while riding. It was 45 degrees out. Freezing my butt off
Trying to do too many things at once. You loose focus on the important basics. Lesson for us all.
“They just can’t see you“. Period. At a two way stop I just experienced a policeman who stopped at the stop sign and I had the right away and he continued on and stopped right smack in the entrance of Meath. backed up and then waved me on. I had a bright Yellow jacket and it was on a clear Day. He looked right at me and continued on and then stopped midway when he realized I was actually there. Amazing. Absolutely have to be defensive when on a bike.
I did this today! Bought a 2025 black ninja 650. No prior experience, no class. Watched a lot of videos. Drove around the parking lot for a minute and hit the highway! Exhilarating!
@@American_Devil congratulations! 🎉 ride safe! 🤙🏼
I really enjoyed your video. I don't even have my licence yet, but I like how honest you've been the entire time with this whole thing.
@@koopakoop thanks!
Nice....am debating this same 500 or the ninja 400....why did you choose this one?
@@ElementFreedive from what I know they’re basically the same. But i bought the 500 for the peace of mind of being the first owner!
6 months later i'm also thinking about getting a Ninja 500!
Gj with the hill my boy! I hate hills
6th gear, 40 mph 😂❤. I’m allowed to talk smack, I’m newer than him 😛
Real or not; I like how you say you are nervous and then talk yourself through the motions to be safe. One thing, if real, is that you should learn the bikes limits, along with you ability to ride to those limits (The sooner the better). Only way you will know, is to keep riding, and practicing, but always keeping yourself safe at the same time. Building more confidence, pushing your learning further, your limits, and trust those tires. You will find, the bike can do more than you are capable of (even experienced riders). For new riders; those tires have to be warmed up for the first 20 or so miles when new, before you attempt hard lean angles (something rarely talked about, I am not sure many even know this. the rubber has a slick surface when new). Once you get the tires hot enough, you can lean over and scuff them in for the best traction possible. KNOW your limits. BE safe.
this a real honest and cool vibe of a video man, Keep it up im finna take my MSF course in a month or two to get my license when they open back up, wish me luck.
You got this!!
Getting my licenses tomorrow and then riding my new bike 4 hrs home thro Melbourne cbd. i think i fked up.
Ride safe man!
:eyes:
That is exactly how I fell…I panicked, a car was coming I wasn’t sure if I should go or not and the wheel was turned which was a no, no…..glad u and ur bike is ok….❤ I was the same way…but, I needed help to get my bike up…it weighs almost 600 pounds….I am only 142lbs….need to get my weight up 😂
Oh maan! We learn through experience 😅 ride safe!
why do americans go for anything above 200cc as beginner rider? In the UK when you are a beginner with a CBT it is illegal to have anything higher than 125cc and this causes less crashes. Anyways good video pal
I love how he gets more confident over time with the first ride how you can visibly see it and hear how he accelerates
You did a nice decision to delete Instagram. I've deleted Instagram app from my phone and only kept it logged in on my browser on my laptop (so the account will stay active). Doom scrolling is addicting and these type of apps are psychologically programmed to keep you hooked. the honesty in your videos is what make it a great watch/contentt for us
bro i ride with glasses too, and it can be fozzy in winter
Americans don't even take proper lessons and get a license, and wonder why they die after riding 3 days.
dude just found your channel, just watched your first motovlog content. was real good. i just got my first bike and license and completely nervous. haven't taken it out yet. but these videos are awesome. KEEP the videos coming man. fan from AUSTRALIA
@@JLxUltra Congrats man! Funny enough ill be going to Australia next year 🤙🏼 I’ll try my best to make another one before it gets super cold out
@moto.nyc718 ah nice bro. Come visit Melbourne if you have the time
