Looks like it's a very tough job to be done & a lot of tools needed in changing the thermostat.
Hi there I got the same vehicle can I replace the T connect with a galvanized t pipe like you the one the other side?
Yes best to remove the hose and bring it and match it up
@@MrtalentedReid ima go that. I just got the engine replace for overheating because the t connect fail. I want to replace the t connect with a metal one to avoid the issues. The mechanic install a t connect but he left the hoses to long causing the hoses to kink. Do you know if the cooling fan takes a while to turn on even if the temp is half way? Not sure if it’s normal on this particular vehicle.
@Junior-ko6gg soon as the temperature rises to almost half the fan should start running
@Junior-ko6gg if no thermostat in it will take a longer time to turn on make sure everything is in perfect shape and check for codes and clear them and see if it works better
@@MrtalentedReid I been checking for codes and I haven’t got any. The fan only turn on for a few seconds and turns off when the ac is on. Other than that I had the van on for around 15 minutes the temperature got half way up but haven’t seen the fan kicked in. I got new thermostat new water pump. Not sure if I should replace the temp sensor and the fan resistor just to be safe. I can’t figure out why is not working right away.
