Lol it is that easy. I was truant in highschool and took online classes(physically at school), cheated the entire time and graduated 4 months early

I also missed a chunk of my classes, and graduated a semester early!

oh in my country there's no such thing as graduating early, even if you have all the best grade in the school, nope, you still have to participate to class and take exams while suffering because it's so boring and horrible

I graduated early and did not get to walk in a grad ceremony or get like a framed diploma. I got an online credential that I printed, but nothing like when you graduate “normally” so it’s kinda accurate haha!

My issue with Malcolm being in your house after asking Monica to prom wasn’t that he was in your house. It was that he was standing right next to Monica’s bed while she was sleeping!!! I’ve watched too many crime shows 😅
i noticed at 9:56 that there’s a pop up saying veronica dropped out of high school and needs to earn her diploma online so maybe the graduating early thing just makes them drop out? hence why no diploma/graduation ceremony

Due to my disability, I was not able to graduate. It really hurt and it still makes me sad. However, now I can graduate in the sims and not have my disability stop me. Remember my friends, if you don't graduate, it's fine. Your not stupid or less then anybody, everyone struggles with certain things, and school is a huge one. You did amazing!

I too have a disability, I wouldn't consider me to be one of the most disabled students in my school (UK) but I was still able to make my leavers day of year 11 which was in June so I'm thankful. my school did nothing to help me with my health issues, I'm in regular pain and I was still forced to do Physical Education. Like I say I don't consider myself as severally disabled but I understand the similar experience you went through

My teen is doing great in university, but she can't seem to fulfill the aspiration until she ages up as she can't tutor other students.
My Sim graduate early, too but I can't get her the online diploma 😳 I tried everything on the computer and she even has the acceptance for university but she can't go without the diploma 😭
And I don't want to age her up :(

My sim's crush, Stacie, did the same to his mom. Twice. Rejected her and 5 seconds later she tried again. Not only is it a massive age difference between them, they are both "straight" according to the new attraction system :) marvelous

I wish the graduating early thing was like my school- if people graduate early they no longer go to school BUT at the end of the year they come back for actual graduation
From what I’ve seen in the rest of these comments it all depends on where you’re from, some people are saying they had no grad ceremony from graduating early and others had a ceremony. In my area it’s the same as you, they simply stop going to school and still go to the ceremony.
@@froggy5748 how does it even work to graduate early? Does it only depend on good grades? And do they still take final exams? I don’t think there’s an option like this in Germany
@@wiebkke Test scores + appropriate credits for my school system (US, Indiana, a couple decades ago). Some kids would take classes at community college while in high school because they were more advanced and counted for more credit hours, meaning you could both graduated high school early and get college credit. You had to have 95%+ on our standardized tests to qualify for that.
I was always 99%+ on standardized, but didn't go for the program because it basically pulled you out of actually experiencing high school. Plus, I'm lazy.
@@wiebkke in my case I’m going to graduate early just because I’m in online school (but still enrolled in an actual high school) and I decided to do school throughout our summer break so that I could be done before the next school year is over. When I was still in irl school I knew a girl who graduated early because she took classes for extra credits and only had to take one semester in her last year of high school instead of two
I’m pretty sure they require good grades along with finishing early though, because they won’t let you graduate in general if your grades are horrible
@@wiebkke for where I am u need like 24 high school credits to graduate. With my school, if u have all ur credits you no longer go to school until the graduation ceremony 🙂
You get rid of fears by talking about them. And you work on the Social Awkward trait by working on it in the mirror and asking others for advice.
As someone who graduated early with highest honors, it’s so cool that they included a similar option in the game

@@yuhhbiscuit they did. You have normal degree, normal with honors, a distinguished degree, and a distinguished with honors, each of which have slightly higher career/pay bonuses.

This is so weird, you literally made me in the Sims! The day you posted ep 1 of this mini series, I had just finished a book about a twin couple (the boy being gay as well) who moved into a town with a theme park just like that. I resonated a lot with the female character in the book and yours is called Veronica (just like me), is a chemistry nerd (I'm a chemist) and God I even have a tattoo of one of her posters on the bedroom wall! I was thrilled the second I saw her room, with the periodic table and all, and it felt like it could be mine :D
Thanks for this little moment, watching her struggle in school just like I did has made my days

I played the day the pack came out with a teen sim I had already been playing with so she was already an A student. She got the option to graduate early and I learned that sims who graduate early can enroll in university as a teen! It’s not all bad.

The whole aging problem has messed up High school gaming experience. I feel super rushed to do everything because I’m scared they’re gonna be elderly
If you turn off Aging in your gameplay settings, it should work just fine. But make sure your aging setting is normal. I made the mistake of leaving my settings on long and my sims started aging.

Turning off aging and setting lifespan to normal didn't work for me, so be careful with your important saves.

My sim was a grade A student before the Expansion, spent 3 days at school, and then graduated early. I hope her prom date doesn't get too upset, because early graduating ends the whole thing.
The Malcom glitch happened to me, my sims gf (Molly Prescot lol) asked the dad to Prom and I was like "No, absolutely not."
Veronica's trying to tell you cheerleading is her high school dream 😂First she won the competition and her unfulfilled dream!

i don't know if this would even be possible, but it would've been great if you could just schedule a graduation ceremony when you wanted it and you could select the people you want to graduate with (from your classmates) and during the ceremony everybody ages up! that way you're still the same age and can go to the next chapter together
I agree. I was hoping it was like Sims 2, when they graduated college they aged into young adults. It was super fun because they went from being teens to this early 20s stage with the slowest walk ever that I just teleported them everywhere😂😂 and then young adult.

I graduated early and my experience was similar to Veronica’s. I didn’t get graduation, or prom or the field trip
The same thing happened to my Sim! Malcolm showed up at the house, asked to be best friends with the mom, and then asked her to prom!!
Veronica didn't get to go to career day or a graduation ceremony due to an early graduation...no wonder she has a fear of unfulfilled dreams. You should totally continue the series into college!!

This is why watching multiple reviews are important. I've just watched an 'brutally honest review' from one simmer, that rated the pack so badly. He said the gameplay was so bad and shallow and there weren't much to do. And here we have LilSimsie, who says there's too much to do.
Kayla seems to understand the game's limitations and works creatively within them to engage in storytelling. I think her reviews come from that vantage point - and looking at it that way, I agree, which is why I preordered the pack. Meanwhile, I haven't updated my game to download it and won't until the game-breaking glitches are resolved.

@@TrekkieMae Yeah I agree, and it adds up with my point. But I preordered too and haven't as much as updated yet. I have a ton of mods waiting for updates, which I'm kinda happy about, because hopefully they will fix SOME of the many issues before I download.

Seriously though, my Sims reached level 10 of their careers after blood sweat and tears, and within a day they are both unhappy because of the 'dead end' fear 🙄
it goes away quick if you get them to talk "discuss fears" with somebody they have a really high friendship with

So Lilsimsie, now that the pack is out if your teen graduates early just use debug to get them into university👍🏽
I don’t think she had access to packs while filming this since it was filmed a few weeks ago.
The pack actually added the ability to enroll as a teen, just had it happen to my sim!

i really want to love this pack, i really do. but i just had so many weird glitches that make the pack not super enjoyable for me... my Sims don't go to school most of the time and the few times when they do, neither of them attend class (i can't even make them)... that aside, my teen sim suddenly had a romantic relationship with the principal?? he never interacted with her in any way AND wanted to ask his brother out to be his boyfriend. I really hope there will be a fix for those issues soon. And no, i don't have any mods or cc installed

There’s a bug in the game that ages up sims randomly so I’m not too sure if she will play before that bug is fixed!

Just be aware people are getting a lot of bugs with this pack. It’s fine for me and I have been able to play it completely fine but other people are getting game-breaking bugs and they can’t even play the game.

its interesting to see in the comments how different schools treat early graduation. some people got to walk at their graduation and some didn't. I graduated early and was still able to go to my senior prom and walk in the grad ceremony.

I noticed they added a feature for graduation. I made a household and made the parents that were already adults but when I went to the sim profile it said “graduated” with higher than average age grades are something, I think that’s cool how they did that so the parents have some more story to them when you first start out
I haven't bought the pack yet and one of my sims in a new save I'm running on normal life span got the "fear of dead end job", so she became a conservationist... and got the "fear of dead end job" again within two days.

I actually found Henry’s life a little more interesting than Veronica’s so I feel like in the sim gods world everything worked out perfectly lol!

I was upset that when my sim graduated early that she didn’t get to walk. Like what? I never saw anything on the calendar about graduation and it wasn’t really explained.
I saw the title and got flashbacks to when Gertrude couldn’t graduate because the Sims 3 decided to be difficult
