    Cauliflower, broccoli, and cabbage taste a lot better sauteed in coconut oil and Pink Himalayan salt. MCT oil on them after they've been steamed has worked miracles at killing the vicious sugar and wheat product cravings that I had.

    Absolutely agreed here with you Thomas. I know someone who was 271 LBS just 90 days ago and now he has gone down to 229 lbs in a matter of 90 days period by just eliminating refined sugar, excess carbohydrates mainly refined. His blood pressure, testosterone, sugar, Vitamin levels are all but normal now thanks to just these simple changes he made.

    Over the past year I’ve slimed down from 335 lbs to about 260 lbs. I cut out milk about three weeks ago and have easily cut down from 270 to 260. 250lbs is the new target but I’ve noticed my belly and chest fat has gone down significantly since I stopped drinking milk. My whole entire life I’ve drank 4-5 4l jugs a week. Milk has always been my favourite and I’ve always drank it in excess even over water. Although these days now that I’ve learnt about how much estrogen I was consuming I drink boat loads of water and no milk. I wish I knew earlier on in my life how much estrogen I was pumping into my body .... I miss milk but i certainly don’t miss the excess chest fat.

    Soy doesn't have xenoestrogen, it has phytoestrogen which helps to reduce the Oestrogen by the body. However, in the USA everything is polluted and GMO so who knows what the Estrogens are. Probably Xeno to some extent.

    • @smileslee
      @smileslee 6 років тому +2

      Even more critical are the endocrine disruptors in soy, which interfere with the body's ability to produce proper amounts of hormones. And on the subject of estrogen; both phyto- and xeno-estrogens disrupt the body's ability to produce proper amounts of estrogen, so your point is moot.

    • @Jefferdaughter
      @Jefferdaughter 8 років тому +7

      Well, actually... the best way to know if potatoes are good for you is to get a glucose meter. Test your fasting blood glucose level, then eat a potato and test your blood sugar again half an hour later. Then an hour later. Then, if your blood sugar has not dropped to pre-meal levels, test again in two hours.
      If you do the research on why spikes in blood glucose levels, which stimulate high levels of insulin, are a problem, you may find that potatoes are not as great as you - or I - once believed.

    • @Jefferdaughter
      @Jefferdaughter 8 років тому +5

      Processed carbs are a problem for sure, but evidence is piling up that shows that high levels of carbs - even 'good' carbs like fruit, legumes like beans, etc - can also be a problem for most people, especially once they are past 30 or 40 years of age. Have you checked out 'The Case For Nutritional Ketosis' by Dr. Stephen Phinney here on YT? His talk is very interesting, and he shares info from researching low carb diets since the '70s.
      'Paleopathology and the Origins of the Paleo Diet' is kinda like CSI on fossil bones and Egyptian mummies. Dr. Michael Eades packs a lot of science into an entertaining talk.

    • @bqfilms
      @bqfilms 8 років тому +1

      Jefferdaughter actually high carb diets are related with longevity
      "studies on insects and mice have revealed that diets low in protein and high in carbohydrates generate longest lifespans in ad libitum-fed animals while low total energy intake (caloric restriction by dietary dilution) has minimal effect. These conclusions are supported indirectly by observational studies in humans and a heterogeneous group of other types of interventional studies in insects and rodents."
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26718486
      btw these diets are good for people to be healthy, I wouldnt follow a high carb low protein diet if I intend to gain muscle.
      If I find any other more credible study I'll link it up.

      @@MrShaun42088 For some people, cruciferous raw creates digestive issues, especially with cabbages. It's better not to get the enzymes from cruciferous, but from fruits, celery, and other vegetables that are easier to digest.

Do the carbs from the beans, lentils, and other vegetables constitute the carbs he is suggesting increase estrogen? I would highly appreciate some guidance. Thank you.
