Excellent video. Everything was well done with close-ups and distance clips. Only disappointment was British accent of announcers. Makes me want to up-chuck. Get some USA announcers next time. The British accent takes away from the Olympic events, as well. The accent in Downton Abby and Polldark {sp} as well as other British excellent series/programs is much easier to take and not so unpleasing to the ear. You may want to get some of those actors to do the announding for the events in the future. (Please don't lecture me on the instant accent being proper. I get it.)
I disagree. I'm a Kenyan and in my opinion, British commentators are the best, hands down. American commentators look upon with disdain non-American athletes especially those not of ethnically European stock. Most times, they don't even know the names of those other athletes, and are shamelessly, embarrassingly and breathlessly biased. British commentators on the other hand even take the time to really know non-British athletes backgrounds including intimate things about them and how they became who they are. In other words, true professionals. American commentators are more like political cheerleaders for their own athletes, which makes one want to switch channels. On a scale of 1 - 10, the Americans are 3 - 4, the British 9 - 10.
What a freak. Ranting about commentators accent. For your information, there is no such thing as a British accent. There are only the accents of the countries that make up Britain.

WHAT??
No black guys here??
Ooooh. SOMEBODY is going to be PISSED!
LOL!!
I get it.)
The USA is not in Europe. Having an American announcer for a European event would be crass.
What a freak. You've just watched a world class 1500 run, and all you can rant about is the commentary. You seriously need help.
There are only the accents of the countries that make up Britain.
american commentators are usually cancer. some exceptions tho
Всё замечательно. Но с трудом представляю что бы Питер Снелл ронял сопли и обнимался после финиша. Детский сад
Peter Snell had a PB of 3:37 in the 1500 m and that was decades ago!! Ingebrigsen has run under 3:30 multiple times. I don't know what you are on about?!
