@@MoAbElites bad manner, term is used if you go out of your way to be toxic towards someone in an online game. Many times it's done by the winning side in retaliation for the other player being toxic (t-bagging, shooting the corpse of an already dead player, summoning Maxx c as a way to deck your opponent out after he used Maxx X, and so on)

The Maxx C challenge, truly an achievement that no player can resist
MD players see “Activate effect in Response?” with Maxx C in hand and their brain goes full Duel Monsters, like absolute caveman unga bunga levels.
This is why I say to always play droll in conjunction to Maxx C just in case lol

Tbf this is the big issue I have with Maxx "C" though that people don't like to talk about. It's when you establish a board and go "okay break it, but you have to win this turn because I am drawing 20 cards while you break it".
It's so nice that the draw is a must and not a may.

This has been my favorite wincon since Ishizu dropped. Way too many people run Maxx C without enough handtraps to prevent the deckout..
100% agree. if they only run maxx c and ash, so many combo decks can just deck them out. adamancipator, any grass deck, synchro stuff etc. without the threat of nib or veilers u just floor it, all gas
Became my main wincon last season in diamond with ishizu reptiles. Mill 20 and unlimited summons, worked like a treat
That's why at least 1 Nibiru is necessary in every Master Duel deck

I remember seeing a Fur Hire Build with Spright months back and was interested but Coder locked in my need to build this now. I never liked Stun/Lockdown Runick and loved doing actual plays involving Runick. This deck is literally EVERYTHING I love to do in one package. Thanks for these videos Coder!

4:22 mans forgot that Dragostapelia's effect to negate monsters with predator counters goes away if Stapelia is popped. Definitely not something I've ever done before :)

I think he did it to prevent rank 2 plays cause it makes it lvl 1 even when it leaves the field.
i used to play mayakashi just for that maxx C challange. it can special summon more than you would think, but it can also run a certain card that makes it incredibly easy to deck someone out (soul-absorbing bone tower)

Friendly reminder to all Master Duel players. Everytime a survey is given out in game, make sure at the end when they ask for thoughts and improvements to ask them to ban Maxx "c"

i have now realized why the ocg likes maxx c. i had a game of maxx c my opponent for 20 cards then he maxx c me for 20 cards and if he didn't time out that game would still have been not clearly decided. i wouldn't say that was a competitive game but it was the most replay as game to have ever been replayed
If you draw 20 cards off maxx c and still not manage to otk even under maxx c you deserve to lose, with 20 cards in hand you should really have something to counter naxx c also

Flower cardian, and six samurai

@@kamenlobster exactly the problem is that maxx c is such a strong card that you have to play it and/or the counters to it there shouldn’t be a card like that in yugioh that forces several different deck to play it and/or it’s counters

I actually agree non-floodgate Runick isn’t that bad. Like it’s still annoying but it’s bearable if you know what you’re doing and don’t brick.
I’ve had some intense battles with Runick that have gone both ways.
But when half their deck is floodgates it can feel unwinnable for many of my decks.

This video was like therapy. Maxx C auto wins and ruins so many games, seeing it do the opposite of what it usually does is great.
We hate playing against runick for the same reasons people hate blue black control in magic. It's abysmally boring and frustrating to have everything you try to do basically amount to nothing every turn until you get poked to death or milled out.

@@Siderite_ Well, not really, since a lot of decks special summon a lot and don't end on much of anything. It's just such a big contrast from caveman yugioh where you would just normal summon and set a card.

Happened to me last week. i was furious :)
To be honest, the frequent zooming on the field in these videos is a little too much for me. I understand the use of that edit to emphasize a play or to address a twitch chatter, but it's done to the point that it's almost jarring and also only makes it harder to keep track of the game state. LukeVonKarma's highlight videos are a good example of the technique used better imo. I hope this comes across as constructive 😅

I think Unchained is still among his favourite Decks in Yugioh. The problem is, nowadays, it just can not keep up with power of pretty much every other card/archetype that is being released both in paper and in Master Duel.
