Playing against Synchron without a negate is like watching someone play solitare just to get kicked in the dick for not winning the lottery

I once drew the perfect hand against someone like that: Dark Ruler, lightning storm, feather duster, and my combo pieces. They scooped immediately after spending what felt like 5 minutes setting up their board. It was hilarious

Synchrons = You either negate speed warrior or you will sit there for 5 minutes while they set up 4 boss monsters

Holy smokes the synchron player playing absolutely insane. Every boss monster in the deck on the field.!!!!😅
I play that deck and he actually did the combo wrong. Baronne is supposed to be a bounce back if u have a non optimal hand. But with his hand he should’ve summoned. Shooting maj star, shooting quasar, cosmic blazar, stardust sifr, and brought back out stardust dragon. And with assault synchron in his deck that gives you another negate so 6 negates

That stardust board is so impossible to play around unless your entire hand is bait for the negates

That Branded Player is living proof that a good deck does not make a good duelist.
It does when you go to these Regionals... considering how most of the yugioh community turned a fun card game into a toxic paradise of bringing their problems from home to project rudely towards innocent people who are there to enjoy their days trying to have fun and not play meta.

ive seen a couple synchron players on the ladder and it was so depressing how much work they put into their turn only to get absolutely fucking pulverized by branded despia, tearlaments or spright
gotta love syncrhon decks not being cringe by actually summon the Yusei boss monsters unlike the TCG players that just turned it into calamities turbo

The "rankings" in master duel don't mean squat as I encounter so many broken cards in a day even at low rank like bronze....
I love my Love my hero deck. It’s pretty much always a 1st turn win anymore I play it about 8/10 times

Coder i have a question... Baldrake have to tribute a light or dark monster to activate it's effects... Why in 2:20 the player can tribute a face down monster? @distantcoder
you can tribute facedown cards as long as its legal

@@huckyfunky9852 the attribute is not public information, but it's the original of the card.
I do think it's a bit confusing, but currently, you can tribute face-down cards and use their original type/attribute/attack/defense (and even then there are exceptions, like Fusilier is still 1400/1000 despite being set because it's a modifier that's placed on a face-down card lol)

Most I've seen in low tiers were Blue eyes and Exodia players. Turn 1 be like set Maiden/ Stone and pass turn. 😴😴

Quick question about the first duel. Why didn't the Utopia player use the Double or Nothing they searched off double?
Because some of their monsters have stipulations or the combo pieces used to make them say that they can't attack directly.
Although I don't remember what goes into this board that would have prevented their only valid monster that could attack directly from being boosted by that spell
@@luigifan4585 I know that applies to the monster summoned through Utopia Double (in this case, it was Ray), but the one that attacked directly in the replay was a different Utopia (the one that got equiped with a bunch of monsters), so it could've used its own effect into Double or Nothing to get the win?

They heavily rely on speeder resolving which can be stopped by many cards plus nib

Viable? No but it is possible. Last season I blasted to diamond 3 and could've gotten further if it wasn't near the end when I actually started climbing ladder. Getting to Master 5 is definitely going to be difficult though especially when the deck relies on junk speeder resolving so you need to put up a Barrone or hot red before doing so with the ascator dawnwalker engine and bystials to make chaos ruler or accel Synchro Stardust and then using assault synchron to make Barrone. All this can be done without using the normal summon allowing for junk speeder plays and can be done before nib
There's many ways to play the deck surprisingly and mine is definitely not optimal but even the most optimal builds would struggle and the main problem is bricking on too many tuners and deck space for non engine.
Check out o37wolf he makes the best synchron guides from what I've seen and has tested tons of different variants to find the best one.
There's a new Bystial variant where you're less reliant on Speeder (and could straight up cut him) in favor of straight up Majestic turbo with Bystial control, o37wolf has a vid about this IIRC

Did a 10 pull on the striker pack today cause I need engage hornet package, was guaranteed ur cause ya know, got 4urs total.....3!!!! Geomathmechs final sigma and some shit out of the pack.
Never bet on a burn deck lol. That last duel was brutal, but I love goofy builds and archetypes (I've been playing battlewasps and prinzessin lately) because the meta decks are only designed to combat meta plays - mill a bunch of crap, three maxx c three ash yadayadayada, and not designed to play against anything that operates outside of that box. I love playing against meta decks, I don't begrudge the people that play them for playing them... but there is just so much joy in inevitably losing and yet still knowing that some poor asshat that spent three hundred bucks in real world money to buy a deck just to win that had to ACTUALLY play for a change and still had to suffer the humiliation of getting hit in the face with a 3500 atk Aquaactress before he got his win. You wanna have fun play a cupid deck with Duel Academy in it. Find a way to use battlewasps to link climb into Codetalker. Build a Battlin' Boxer deck and XYZ the shit out of it to get into a Rhongo or a Zeus. Playing meta is just painting by numbers lol, playing different decks is where the real fun is... and it is always a hundred times more glorious when you get that win. 🤣

Junk Speeder is a card that should be banned imo. It's possibly the most broken extender in the game, but it's still only around because Ash and Imperm exist and Synchrons lack follow-up off of getting handtrapped. If Synchrons gain more follow-up options in-engine, that Deck will become stupid in the meta
yeah if junk speeder couldn't be ash'd or imperm'd synchrons would just be the best deck ever, and if you try to max c them they are just gonna out deck you probably

The existence of handtraps shouldn't impact how broken a card is, otherwise I can say that Kitkallos is fine because Veiler and Imperm exist. Junk Speeder is still a 1-card combo that often ends on 4 negates and follow-up if it isn't dealt with on the spot and being reliant on very specific cards to play through. It represents some of the worst aspects of Synchro design, and that's simply not something that should be around

Synchron is a really mid archetype, even with a custom card like speeder you don't see it winning any tournaments. It loses to almost any interruption.
Imagine having a card that fucking tutors 5 monsters from the deck and you're still considered a mid archetype.
@@Ragnarok540 thats very true. i dont think synchron is good, however, i still think that a card like speeder should not exist. it would be a lot healthier if they approached other avenues to make the deck better. seeing this dude summon 5 cards for free just does not sit right with me at all haha. its just begging to be abused in a more competent strat in few years, or if they keep printing better synchrons.
