Honestly I love that Yugioh is a complicated game, it got me hyped to the bone seeing you build that board from only a rex that was negated and a spright blue
Hate when Yu Gi boomers shit on how “bad” modern Yu Gi because “wah wah long card text” and “wah wah normal monster beat down should be meta!”
Like any they’re afraid of using critical thinking when playing this game.

Tbh it’s just way the game is the polarizing to some players honestly for like me I like the game but even sometimes I just need a break after one day of playing cause it’s just to much to think critically about every play just to possibly lose to one card like evenly which by the way should be banned imo but that’s for another day

Yea, yugioh has potential to make every deck meta, but it's all about money. Gotta have the Op shit for the people with no personality, whose whole desire is to win no matter what. Probably because they don't win at anything else in life

@@adyelnoyhadryel7930I mean not really, that only happens in formats where every deck is super expensive, sure meta staples exist but that’s not really an argument you should be making. If you want to play competitively it’s just something you have to buy and if you don’t want to then just stick to playing casually
I think what's really wild is that despite the opponent drawing the absolute nuts, Coder played through it all and still built his own entire board from Spright Blue resolving and Rafalle hitting an unused Runick spell.
Yes, this variant of the deck is sick, but at the same time it's disgusting how good it is at recovering.

That was the cleanest game of Spright Runick Fur Hire I've ever seen, goddamn, very well played man
Once in a while Ill get this kind of satisfying wins, where I played through all the negates, interuptions even floodgates the opponent has, and then immediately next game go second into a full branded tearlaments baron, board. 10/10 game. Very fair and interactive.

I love decks where a bunch of low level monster work together to bring out the big guns, like Synchrons which is actually my favorite deck, and now Spright is also one of my favorites.
Maybe you’ll like live Twins if you like smaller monster working to be bigger monsters

I love playing combo decks like dragon link, specially dragunity and dragonmaid ones (i know it's ot the best, but i like it). But seeing the runick furhire makes me want to try it as well.

I was really inspired to build the fur hire version of the deck, since I already have a spright runick deck, but then I remembered we are getting kashtira really really soon so I will just save my gems for that
The Kashtira cards are awful without Ariseheart, get the Fur Hire stuff. It's fairly cheap and it's way better right now.

Avramax doesnt trigger right when being tributed
As long as it was removed by opponent's card, it would trigger. This means it would trigger off battle destruction, kaiju, goddess, lair of darkness, or anything that sent it to the gy.
However it does became finnicky if you control opponent's avramax. Using it as materials or tribute summon won't trigger its floating effect but using avramax and send it to gy as some sort of requirement to use an effect, would trigger it. So becareful about your yoinked avramax
Whether the deck is meta or not it seems always come down to Max c, ash, impermanence, evenly,called by and the two talents and people argue floodgates are the issue.
It's not? Meta decks still lose to those if hit, there are also rogue decks that is resilient to those but still won't be meta because the pay off sucks.
@CrnaStrela the funny thing is how many meta combo decks end or a unique board face it control and rogue and below is where all the creativity is in yugioh however due to cards the exist to purely count these unbalanced decks they keep making these creative decks never see the light of day

how come more people on master duel don't player spright fur hire? like... at all? i play it all the time and i run into nobody else with it. ever.
Mostly because of the Runick stigma, but the Runick cards giving you more reliable access to destroying cards are pivotal to making the modern build work. Playing with just the Spright package you'll only be able consistently get to Rex and Donner, which isn't enough compared to what other Spright builds can do.
@@MarioLopez-xs3vc listen, i play just spright fur hire, no runick, and i can tell you that deck is only SLIGHTLY more inconsistent than the runick build. I'm able to go into everything AND dodge negates. runick is really not that necessary.
Fucc that I hate runick as much as the next guy but those cards make this deck so much more fun than just using spright cards at least for me.
@@Endrance88You're turning down an extra draw 3, an extra negate, and a bonus way to pop to trigger Folgo in case Donpa gets negated. You obviously don't need Runick cards to make the deck playable with how strong the Spright engine is, but it's definitely limiting your ceiling.
