When I told him that so many people want an update, he thought I was kidding. He is such a humble man. I am so very blessed to have a wonderful family! I hope you enjoy the update!!

your 1st video came across my youtube feed because I watched others like it. What stood out about yours is because at 66 years old I bought my first car a 2019 Grand Sport Corvette ( always had trucks my whole life ). Sadly my Wife and I decided to never have kids early in our marriage mostly because of the way both our Families were brought up. Seeing your videos and others just like it makes me wish if we had kids they would have been so nice as you and others. Our families have been pretty much dysfunctional mostly and still to this day don’t really have much to do with one another. Even don’t see or hear much from all our Nieces or Nephews and there is like 15 of them. The joy on your Parents faces when they realized the Vette was theirs was PRICELESS ! Hope they both are doing well and still enjoying the ride. BTW … The car your Dad has is my favorite year and model right down to the convertible and side pipes ! Tell him he was spot on on the new rims he got for the car it looks and sounds freaking AWESOME. One of those cars up here in New England goes for the same price I bought mine new ;-)
So glad to see that The Fish is still drivin’ and fishin’! I still watch your original video from time to time ....it’s good on so many levels. One of my all time favorite videos. You have not only a wonderful dad, but a caring mom who allows you to have such a close relationship with your dad. Some moms would be jealous and push that relationship into a more distant one, which would be tragic indeed. Kudos to her and most definitely to you for being an amazing daughter!

Just saw Corvette Surprise and Update. Wonderful. Your Dad is a hero and Patriot. Thanks for treating him well. As a Father of two girls I hope I have raised them as good as he raised you. The gifts to Mom and Dad are seeing their kids grow up respectable and productive, full of love and happiness is the reward we get for doing a good job as parents. You were raised right. Thank you, from another Dad.
Your a warm and caring daughter. I wish my daughter cared for me. Its not her money or gifts that a father wants. Its just a call to say "I love you dad". Maybe it will come someday.

I just watched the main Surprise video again this evening, it is one of the best "feel good videos" on the internet and was happy to see that this update was in my suggested list. I love that there is a picture of the two of you with the car taken at the Father's Day photo shoot hanging on the wall. That is really beautiful. Thank you for posting the update and I am so happy to see that he, and the car, are still running strong at 82 and 54 years, respectively. Blessed Be, and long life, to all of you.

Hey Lisa I just caught the follow up video. I commented in the first suggesting your father join The Corvette Forum. I just saw another video being it was Father’s Day this past Sunday and there was another video where 2 Sons surprised their father with his dream car and of course your fathers Video came up next so I watched it again like I did 2 or so years ago and that one led me to the follow up. I have to say I think that ‘66 Corvette made your father a younger guy. He looks great. Good for him. Glad he is still enjoying the car. Tell him I like his choice of new wheels for the car also.
