9 Things? Hard to hear what he said about the Old Man's rank in the Navy. He retired a Petty Officer First Class, the equivalent of staff or technical sergeant in the other armed forces branches. As that rank he served in a few different capacities including his last days on a naval Tug Boat.
@@peterzenewicz329 Sorry got to call BS on that one. Its not grade school where you can skip five ratings. The only way (which is another reason I call BS, because you don't seem to know this) an enlisted person can enter the navy other than an E1 recruit / apprentice, is if it is a second enlistment. Meaning you were in the Navy prior, was fully discharged, got bored, then reenlisted where in your previous enlistment coupled with job experience can enable a higher rating if they are desperate for that job to be filled. In other words if and only if they had a vacancy and were desperate for a job that would justify the rank. But seeing as how those jobs only open if there is a retirement, every current E5 would have to fail the advancement test. The only automatic advancements ( even then depending on the job or unit advancement exams may be required) is up to E3. E3 who wish to advance, on recommendations from there commander, sit advancement examinations for E-4 and subsequent ratings up to E-6, there is no advancement without passing the exams, and no skipping of ratings. Exams are held for E4 to E6 in March and September of each year, Exams for E7 are held once a year in January. SO please do not claim falsely that which others have earned by effort. Sorry to anyone if they get more than one notice for comments, I tend to type fast then go back and edit spelling and rephrase stuff. Kind of new to YT. 😁
@@DIDYOUSEETHAT172 Would you put up a few thousand as a bet on that? My DD-14 shows that I entered USN as a DP1 and left as a DP1. E-6. Also didn't go to regular basic training but a special training regimen at Bainbridge , MD. About 120 DPs and DS-s went through this course. In fact, the first set, the DS-s signed on as DPC. Correct, data processing technician Chief Petty Officer. That didn't go over very well with the other Chiefs, putting it mildly, so this was scaled back to DS1. DS1s served at sea, and there was much hazing. This was in 1969, 1970. But hey, don't feel bad. We were hassled by a lot of uneducated Chiefs for not having our hashmarks on our jumpers. And the offer for a wager stands. Any amount. And I earned my rank also. By putting myself through college for 4 years while working 30 to 40 hours a week, and every summer, then working at IBM for 2 and a half years. @@peterzenewicz329 HMMM. Been well over an hour since I asked What other training was in Bainbridge. Needed some time to look it up? Sorry buzzer has gone off. But nice try. Since 1961 The primary training location for the naval DS rating was Combat System Technical Schools Command at Mare Island CA. But nice try. That's rich! I have to say I really miss seeing "The Old Man" on the show, for he added a certain charming character to the show.
Who’s watching because of the purple jet ...
I have been watching Pawn Stars for many years and I even visited the place when I was there in 1998.
“That’s Rich”. It’s always sad to lose your dad/grandpa, especially when you work closely with them in a business. I believe you were pretty close, in more ways than one, and that’s very important in a family. It showed. You have a lot of good memories and no one can take that from you...pass down the memories and values. Grieve and draw closer together. Blessings!
The old man was the best he just made me smile 😇 still watch the rest of the guys on tv 🤙🏻

9 Things? Hard to hear what he said about the Old Man's rank in the Navy. He retired a Petty Officer First Class, the equivalent of staff or technical sergeant in the other armed forces branches. As that rank he served in a few different capacities including his last days on a naval Tug Boat.
Not too great for 21 years. Most with that many years retire as CPO, or higher. Hell, I went into the Navy as an E-6, PO-1, Day one.
I started working immediately in data processing at BUPERS after our "basic" training.
@@peterzenewicz329 What other training was in Bainbridge at the time? Which camp were you in?
@@peterzenewicz329 HMMM. Been well over an hour since I asked What other training was in Bainbridge. Needed some time to look it up?
Sorry buzzer has gone off. But nice try. Answer one, the Naval Nuclear Power School was established in Brainbridge 1962.
Since 1961 The primary training location for the naval DS rating was Combat System Technical Schools Command at Mare Island CA. But nice try. PS moving on I won't be reading or replying anymore to this thread. Have a good one. PS2 😁 The reason your post caught my eye before is no one who served would try to puff up their own ego by belittling the career of another. Especially one who has passed on. RIP old man, thank you for your genuine service.
It's pertinent to know that investment is essential to make more money. Right guys?
Majority of people don't invest due to the lack of trade discipline or because of ignorance. but for me, I think investing in forex or stocks marketing would be a wise idea.

I like how the person talking things the “estate” literally means a home lol
Estate includes everything on the land. If he just left them a house then that is all they would get.
@@thomastusing4632 not true, estate can include land/house, but doesn't have to. It's just everything owned by a person. For instance if I die, my family gets my motorcycle and that's about it.
I like how the OP thinks that thinks is spelled things.
@MegaStephie2010 Don't go taking the Bar exam. Estate in a will means a person's total assets. Minus his liabilities. So.....the cars, etc. are all part of his estate. The home was possibly not in the estate, because his wife's name is probably on the deed.
My cousin owns the house right next door to the old man's. RIP dude was hilarious. I remember trying to introduce myself to him a long time ago, his response was "I already know everyone I need to know." Lol
"That's Rich" I was a huge fan of the show and I'm sorry for their loss he was a funny man to may he RIP
This doesn’t tell us what Cory inherited , only parts of this and that
to many fucking commercials to actually get to the topic of the video
Not sure if this ended already lol but "that's rich" lol
"Thats Rich"
That's Rich, I love watching the show to see all the interesting items coming into the shop
