My daughters both spent some time in the shop with me when growing up, now when my oldest daughter who is now 45 years old comes to visit me we spend time in the shop making projects she can take home and use in her home. Hopefully your children will continue to show interest working with you throughout your lives.
I always look forward to seeing her pop up.

I don't even have 1000 subs yet, and I get snarkey comments and emails. Can't imagine what you get. Keep doing what you're doing. I enjoy the chill, low-key style.

A teacher! I did not know that. Makes sense. You certainly have the personality for it. What subject(s) do you teach? My oldest son started as an Ag mechanics teacher at the high school level. Later took a position at a junior college as a welding instructor.

Where do you go to find makers marks to identify axes? I have one w a couple marks that I can't find online. One is a ringed sheaf of grain, the other kinda looks like 3 mushrooms butted at the bases. Also has a number out of 1000: 56/1000. I have seen a similar shaped Hults Bruks head but the marks are different.

That japanese hammer head is an awesome find! It looks like it's really well made. I personally don't think most people can even handle a blacksmithing hammer much heavier than 2lbs anyways. Everyone tries to act or look tough by using these huge 4lb hammers but there technique sucks and they're actually slowing themselves down when it comes to blacksmithing. It takes years to get really good with a 2lb hammer to where you should even think about going heavier. You could move some serious amounts of metal with that thing, the rounding side looks great, I didn't quite get a good look at the flat side but I'm sure it's awesome too.

Oh Dustin, what about the workshop. You don't have any more ideas or you will continue with the questions. Don't forget that your works brought people closer to loving this channel. I and society don't look at these questions anymore, because a lot of them don't even understand the language. Come back Dustin, because watching someone else's video, like yours for example, is the most fun and the best way to learn. That's my opinion, don't take offense. Greeting.

We can only produce one or maybe two build videos (max) a month. They take a long time to make. The question videos are to fill the gaps during the month when we are shooting and editing the big videos. Nothing is changing, we just want to appease the UA-cam Gods with weekly content. Hopefully we answer some good questions and connect with more viewers along the way. Thank you for watching!

I understand everything you said, however, when something is not interesting, people simply won't watch it. (questions and answers) I didn't watch the video either, unfortunately, and neither did my friends, because we were expecting some kind of work. I recommend you Dustin, it is better to play an old video clip than those questions. Although that can also bother someone. I just wanted to give my opinion, no offense. You are a wonderful man, God bless your nobility. Pleasant.

Think its not that easy. There are lots of bad people out there.
They may go after you and your kids. Dont think its a good idea to
expose your children here or in any " social " media. They might
find themselves on pages you do not want to see them. Or they
might be recognised in the real world. Also it could affect their
working career in future.Whats on the net stays there for ever.
    Just a thought.

Putting children in videos should be controversial because of safety risks online and yet to be seen effects of being quasi celebrity, not because someone dislikes looking at them. Hollyweird celebrity children are usually a mess. We should be making the best possible choices for our children. Many content creators include their children to sell their videos. I am not accusing you personally of that, as I don’t know you well enough, just putting some views out there for people to consider. That said, I hate that term “troll.” Content creators put out info and the audience comments in the provided area. They are part of the whole process. Comments can be good or bad, but they are a total part of the process. Also, people who put up bad information or who push controversial subjects in their videos use the term into the ground deflecting blame from their own bad behavior. Otherwise just call it the “flattery” or “kiss up” area, not “comments.” Many people try to shut down opinions they do not agree with by quoting “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all,” Thumper’s Mom. Personally, I’m not in the habit of taking Disney cartoon characters’ advice. Lol. I learned to be honest, use critical thinking (aka think for myself) and to stand up for those who cannot defend themselves not just be “nice” and shut up and go along to get along. Those people are ignorant of the importance of constructive debate in our society, especially in the USA.
