This is just an idea or assumption of mine but I think kick i through iiiii is tittled that ways to sound like it's going : "Kiki" with kick i And then like yelling "kikiiii" with kick iiiii because, first off, Kiki (kiki's delivery service) is a little witch, not a malevolent evil one, but kind, talented and selfless, and arca with the albums I expected because of kick i being spelled like it is was going to be followed by kicks 2 through IV, V, or even VI, but they're (like I expected) not roman numerals, which makes it even more apparent that the titles don't only* spell kick I, II, III, IV, V, but also just a creative way for arca to make an album tittled kiki, then, kikii, kikiii, kikiiii and lastly, kikiiiii and we still get the reference if we assume that arca is a fan of studio Ghibli films, which I'm very confident she is. But I'm still not 100% confident that the reason is actually that.
I just don't get her music on her recent albums, idk i only like songs like prada rakata,electra rex,and luna llena, i mean the songs with clear structure lol idk how to explain it, but after i listen to it, it stays in my mind unlike other songs which i don't know how to enjoy it (maybe that's why her self titled and xen album are my favorites), it feels like i'm just listening to some weird noises
