He’s praised Arca before but has just been mixed on the overall album experience because there are tracks on previous albums he wasn’t keen on that made the tracklist spotty for him. But there are many tracks he’s praised from Arca on previous albums
It's an 8 at best
there were really no complaints but then again he's never been totally into arca's disjointed sound, really interested to see what he rates all the kicks
and i was right, kick iii received a decent to strong 9
@@vulniguta yeah, I thought he was going to underrated, I still can't understand how people and Fantano love kick 2 and 4 over kick 1, like for real kick 1 got Watch, KLK, Mequetrefe, Calor, the rest are pretty good track, just don't like machote and afterward

@@wyntresnephew8552 Not at all. Mutant is a masterpiece and I prefer Arca’s earlier work. I’m not as keen on the Kick series, but I liked Kick i. I just find iii obnoxious.
@@sanfordcurtis8242 fair enough.. I see most people complaining about this and usually, they have either never heard of Arca or experimental music like this. Its hard to distinguish them from others who have genuine critiques of the album.
@@sanfordcurtis8242 I have a slightly similar experience. I haven't liked anything she has released since the self titled; I loath kick i and I've only enjoyed kick iii. Did you listen to the stretch EPs? I really liked them and i feel that this is an evolved/warped continuation of that.
