Thanks for video --look forward to the next one on eyes- ... I have used black Rhinestones with a flat back and use 5/8 bit to inset them. Gives a nice glint on the eyes. Also used black upholstery tacks with a concave head for small eyes.

Just a question, I have been given some logs, how do I keep them from cracking until I get to them. Is that why the relieve cut in the back.

They all crack Maureen . I always plan to fix the crack if it’s a big carving. A good way to help it in 1/4 the logs of the are big enough or the relief cut down the back of the carving.
