This makes me cry criminals in prison are treated better Animals all of them should be treated with so much love respect and more. I wish I was rich so I could create an Animal sanctuary to protect them.
A lot of these animals coming in are being surrendered, violent, scared etc. it’s them being scared which causes them to defecate all over. They are walked 5+ times a day and cleaned everytime they are walked. It’s them being stressed and scared. What people need to do is be more responsible whne buying dogs and NOT SURRENDERING THEM OR LOSING THEIR PETS BECUASE THEY WND UP IN OVERCROWDED SHELTERS i promise you the shelter isn’t the problem. People are just very uneducated
Uneducated people is what it is who have no experience and knowledge about animals and their behavior. A lot of these animals coming in aren’t the friendliest especially when they come in very scared. Shelters aren’t the problem. You keep buying animals and this is the cause. NYC SHELTERS ARE OVERCROWDED. People need to be better owners. Only so many staff and billions of dogs
Disgraceful all that money to build a shelter and already poorly run, imagine if all the rescues received those funds to care for these dogs how better off they would be finding new homes for them. They could have spay and neutered all the dogs and cats in the state of NY for that money.
@@BlueHazel44 possibly though in bad economic times, owners would drop their pets at the shelter or let them loose in the street like raccoons & possum that are no longer cute.
Corporate consolidation of rental properties isn't helping. When a couple companies on 80% or more on the market in your town they can heavily restrict large dogs, and essentially Force families to give up their pets.
8 million people??? What you think??? They need an entire 2 to 3 acre property to begin with!!! This is upsurd!!!! Talk about money scheming. 75 million was not spent on this project!!!!
If we can make temporary shelters at the drop of a hat for migrants, then we should be able to do the same with U.S of A pets. I am not anti immigration, I am merely pointing out the entire system’s absurdity.
75 million dollars and it only holdd 70 dogs?
EXACTLY!!!!!
Right
They need to be investigated
Build more animal shelters instead of migrant shelters!!!!
Bingo

New Building , UNtrained workers ?
People who don't care about animals work at these places.
Oh really have you met them? This is obviously a management problem. And 75 million for 70 dogs isn't a red flag?
@@ryangonzalez3225 I have met them and they don't care about anything more than a pay check.
We treat animals like garbage here in the U.S.
It's terrible
They should pay individuals to care for some of the dogs, they would probably do a better job and be cheaper
Chocolate is deadly for dogs
Good thing American chocolate is weak as fuck, what dogs regularly getting into Hershey bars and suffering no ill effects.
