Brian! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve tuned in, but man, it's like I never left! You're out there just living the dream-laughing, riding bikes, exploring cool places like some kind of adventure superhero. Good for you, my friend! Keep crushing it out there!
Yay, Comrie is my nearest trail centre. It's an amazing wee place with super riding. I'm so privileged to have all the trails you've ridden on this trip within 2 hours of home, plus more mountain days on a bike than you can do in a lifetime...
Guys, you need to have a wee chat with your guides. To go to Glenlivet and do Bazza’s Berms twice but not do the Red route; any of the short enduro trails; either of the new jump lines; the summit of Cairn Diamh; the old blue route…They really threw you under the bus. And then to miss Laggan cos it was raining? Dudes!
Cheers Brian. I'm glad you enjoyed your time here again. Your positivity is infectious, and may yet inspire me to get off the couch and back on my bike.
Hey Brian, the Scotland egg you were referring to is one of our families old school recipes. We are Italian descendants and we make those and put them in our red pasta sauce. It’s so yummy, it’s hard boiled eggs surrounded with a meatball beef mixture. Scotland riding looks amazing. Love the video!!
Loving your energy Brian. Those short trails at Glenlivet are so much fun. And yeah, mudguards are an absolute necessity for riding and filming in Scotland!
not followed you for a while but its been cool to see you riding Scotland which is a lot closer to me, makes me want to head up to Scotland, you are a very decent rider but i bet single track sampler could keep up with the pro riders he really does have some skills on a bike his technique is really good, i have been enjoying both your Scotland visits
What a cool looking place . Really enjoying your enthusiasm and the Scottish series. Shame you didn't go to Wolftrax as a brilliant trail centre and some really good off piste stuff.
I'm guessing you're long passed - but there are good scotch eggs at the smiddy farm shop outside Stirling not too far from comrie!! Great to see all our local trails starring!
Perfect trail conditions, try it during the winter lol, As said previously the golfie and my personal fave as it is natural like comrie croft is Drumlanrig down in dumfries, its not as ridden as much as it should be.
Shame you didn't get the chance to ride Laggan Wolftrax some great trails there but ace none the less you rode both Glenlivet, I've been to Comrie great fun. If you're still here would recommend Dunkeld trail network and Glencoe ski centre MTB trails, really enjoyed thanks for sharing! 😁🤙
Well you managed to do Glenlivet no favours! Didn't miss much at lagan, it's pish, so is comrie...lol Good videos tho, glad your enjoying it here 🏴
DId you do any climbing on rough stuff? How'd the Deviate feel? I like that they seem to offer it with "standard" shifters as opposed to the grip-shift.
Thank you so much Brian for these awesome videos, you continue to inspire! I played soccer in Scotland when I was 16, and now it's mountain biking at 45 around Georgia, but the connection visually here is just perfectly stimulating seeing you both in action like at Bear Creek/Pinhotti, this is the great stuff of MTB from you and Alex, thanks man!
Your speculation on the British class system was intriguing. Not sure the word “daddy” is correct 🤣. Yes England is a mystery to even those who live there. Still, America is no utopian in a lot of ways.
I think 6 eggs for breakfast is too many, someone once told me 1 egg a day is enough, not sure of the science behind that though. Probably cholesterol related at a guess, or maybe they only had 1 chicken 😆
Nice video. Great seeing soemone from the States do Scottish trails. I'm Scottish but in the States currently and you're completely right about the tiny roads - part of the scenic experience - bit like West Virginia Appalachian roads without sheep coming onto them. The interstates here are next level for getting about quickly though.
@@bkxckeep up the videos watching you and Alex mtb during the week makes me super pumped to mtb on the weeekend! Went from only being able to do 8 miles before being winded to 26 miles now and you guys inspired me.
I've had enough of the element ads. They're annoying. Besides I find the pill form of electrolytes to be the cheapest and easiest to digest and absorb. I had to unsubscribe.
There is no T in Glenfiddich! It's not "Glenfidditch" the ch at the end is pronounced as you see it, or as you should at the end of loch ( and I don't mean by saying lock like an effete Englishman!) A scotch egg has pork in it not beef ;) All of that stuff about class is pretty much outdated nonsense no-one gives any credence to. Both of my grandfathers grew up not speaking English and not owning shoes, one speaking Gaelic in the mountains of Strathnaver and one Italian in the mountains of Lazio. My parents were teachers, I have my own law firm.
Yeah that was quite funny re: "Glenfidditch" - is that somewhere in Serbia or something 🤣. Amazing how many non-Scottish accents can't make a decent "ch" sound though.
Im ABSOLUTELY loving this back and forth series between you two, sick trails, awesome company and Alex's mint hops :D
Thanks Brian!
Fantastic, love to hear it!

I can barely film in the rain. It's too dark and the footage is unusable, it only got worse.
@bkxc Makes sense! Heck, come the short days it can get really problematic just seeing what you are riding, let alone filming.
Cheers Brian. I'm glad you enjoyed your time here again.
Your positivity is infectious, and may yet inspire me to get off the couch and back on my bike.
Fantastic, I love hearing that!
You and Alex are my favorite channels. I really enjoy the rides you do together. Keep on riding and loving it.
Thanks so much!!
Glenlivet and Comrie. Both awesome trail networks

Yeah, I've had many!

Please tell you boys are doing Fort William!? 🙏
Not this time. Wish we did, love that Big Chief!
@BkXC when is the next amazon sale on trail one components? That was great last year. .
Just had one recently on the site for MTB day
@bkxc oh crap.... I need some gear for my fiancé's mtb

Korean Orion Choco pie would be to your taste too, or Lotte pie [also Korean] and next time you're in NZ Mallowpuffs!
Nice!!! love the suggestion
Mark Weir said it best (about mtn bikers)
we exercise like crazy but we all eat like fat guys.
Hahaha true

Yeah, those tiny roads are crazy!!
Do you really trust Skynet to give you the correct answer?
Of course
Sorry you have to slum with the regular folk and use those pesky mechanicals
Hahaha, downgraded!
Love how an $8k bike is the average guys bike in your example lol my wife says my budget is 3k hahaha
I know, it's become ridiculous!
