Absolutely amazing Glad2Teach! Truly astounded and love how you include a step-by-step walk through with the audience. Though I'm not going to lie I had to rewind a few times to fully grasp the concept, just listening to what you were saying consistently helped me understand the equations going on in your head. Amazing! Keep teaching good, kind sir. :)
Dear 1SkippyTheRope1, Thank You!! Mathematics is about having confidence in your own ability. All the best with your schooling. I truly respect those people who have the courage to resume their education. Shahryar (Glad2teach)
Thanks for posting a well worded comment. There are certain things that would not go out of fashion or become obsolete. One of them is "human intelligence". Our calculation speed is the measure of our mind's sharpness. For this very reason "calculators" are prohibited in exams (esp job/entrance related where one candidate has to be chosen over other) I am not the one who has set these parameters. I am just helping students to play by them and succeed in life. Shahryar (Glad2teach)
Dear Cvelador , thanks for your comment. I have nicely explained my technique of Rainbow Multiplication in the other EasyCal Video you would find on this youtube channel. Please watch it. To learn the Base Method in detail you can visit the glad2teach website (link given below the video above ). All the Best Shahryar (Glad2teach)
Dear HimJustin, thanks for the compliment that I am above average .. :) I indeed pickup three Digits at a time and hold them long enough till I can add them to the next set of 3 digits. But if you closely hear my calculations, then you would realise that I am adding one Digit at a time ( thus you hear so many numbers coming out of mouth so fast ). This is done by using my EasyCal technique called "Jumping Up 10s for faster Addition " Shahryar (Glad2teach)
Dear fullbloodedfilipino, glad that you liked this presentation. I am not a Human Calculator ( just a teacher of Mathematics from India ). I teach these simple techniques in Schools and Colleges. With little practice students can master these techniques and become fluent with Arithmetic. I have developed a similar program to master Algebra as well. Shahryar (Glad2teach)
Dear Faizan, thanks for so much appreciation. There is no Nobel Prize for Mathematics. Thanks anyway :) Given below this video above is the link to my website (glad2teach). Watch three more EasyCal technique videos there. Thank You Shahryar Badar Khan (Glad2teach)
Dear ProPcGamingNetwork, thanks for the kind appreciation. Of course it's me !! No 'body double' was used in this video to perform the Mathematical stunts .. lol
Sir Shehryar you should get a noble prize for that. A few videos of yours have changed my life literally because I'm an engineer. Thanks a lot for providing such brilliant ways. Sir, I can't find your all videos, please provide some links to those too.
Glad that you pointed that out. Being a spontaneous presentation at school the camera was not calibrated to expose for 'black' pen on 'white' board. It was the proverbial dilemma of camera person " how to expose for black crow on white snow ". The purpose of this seminar was to motivate the students and it was served well. Shahryar Badar khan
Dear Milad, thanks for giving me so much respect. I very humbly accept that I am not a born Human Calculator. To help myself crunch the numbers faster I have created my own techniques of faster Mathematics. It is somewhat like spiderman stitching his own spider suit .. lol As a Math teacher I try to think out aloud while doing my calculations so that people know what is going on inside my head. Shahryar Badar Khan (Glad2teach)
Thanks !! I am proud of being a Muslim and of being from India. This is part of my identity. However my greatest identity is that I am a Human Being, the best creation of God Almighty. We humans have enormous hidden powers in us. Know thy self. Shahryar (Glad2teach )
I have uploaded this video after enhancing the video and audio quality and compressing its size by 40% to save your internet bandwidth. Do post your questions and comments below.
To respond to bitchslapper12 , UA-cam has indeed honoured me by making my Glad2teach Channel its official partner. However I have declined to allow Ads to be screened before my videos as I find them irritating. I am sure many of you would agree.
Sakutala Devi is know for quick addition and multiplication faster than computer more than 2 decades ago.ITt is not about fast that matters ,these are down to experience and tricks to finding quicker ways once you are familiar with the numbers .Thats what enabled Ramanujan to come up with two ways of adding square to make up 1729 when his mentor GH Hardy mentioned to him about the numeber of the taxi.I have seen my late father in his fifties could add 3 digit numbers up to 40 without error.
My dear friend Vojislav I do read daily 'all' the comments posted on any of my EasyCal videos. I am elated to know that you have found my videos interesting to the extent of being addictive. Your suggestion is well taken. Best Wishes Shahryar Badar Khan Glad2teach
we have been so dependant with adnvance or smart technology and now we have created something new to ourself of our social convenience for maths and no longer in need to use the calculator except that there are some use such as son cos and tan or maybe log but in calculation like this is extraordinary
Dear DrTalk1, thanks for posting a well worded comment. I simply 'read' the numbers and let my brain process the number data. This happens effortlessly (as you can see in the video). Our brain is nothing but a biological calculator. Mathematics is the mother tongue of all human brains by default. Unfortunately the formal Math education imparted to us makes us lose this instinctive Mathematical ability by making our brain severely dependend on pen/paper to think. Shahryar (Glad2teach)
your calculation skills are quite brilliant. i am 26 years of age and trying to improve my calculation speed. hopefully one day i will be as fast as you. but i don't think i will be quite as fast as you. maybe close. anyway, very nice method as well.
PLEASE READ THIS SHAHRYAR (GLAD2TEACH) I am a 14 year old male and you are really great. I love math and I actually know how to do any two digit number times "11" very easy in less than five seconds. Also, how to do any two or three digit number times itself AKA squared. Another is any two or three digit number times itself three times AKA cubed. This can be done in 10 seconds or less.
Your videos are great and i become interested im maths after i have watched some of your videos! I wanted to ask you if there is allso a vedic square root algorithm of calculting square roots?
Hi, I have watched plenty of your videos (and I find them extremely helpful, mainly since I am trying to be a trader!). I had one question. Is there a quick way to multiply a large number by any tens digit. For example 747*8?
Don't get how you do this, but i'm fascinated and intrigued! I think i'll buy the course. (Don't be offended by my nickname, it's from older gaming times, i don't hate anyone at all)
I have become addicted to watching your videos,if you ever read my comment please upload more videos if you can.I think that everyone that likes your videos will be grateful.
A valid point. While I have shifted my position on the matter to a rather neutral one (neither for nor against either side), one must remember that Einstein was never good at mental calculations (including the ones shown in this video), even at the peak of his adult career. I respect and understand your opinion however. :)
People must learn that mathematics is not about numbers... We have calculators for that and algorithms installed in computers... Mathematics is about letters anything before is just preparing you for algebra.
I am afraid to let the knowledge of the humanity in the exclusively hand of the machine. I bet it will come a time when someone will say that our children don't need anymore to learn addition subtraction , multiplication since the machine can do them.
@bitchslapper12 well to answer your question youtube chose him to partner and he said he declined ads as they annoy him however the "ALL 30 VIDEOS" is merely advertising his site selling all the methods of teaching he can provide which is indeed 30 videos. @glad2teach your videos are brilliant i don't have the extra money to throw on your product but i am impressed with your techniques and would like to see more. when i get extra cash i'll be sure to purchase it. thank you
do you have something similar to this except for those of us who need to take Statistics (to earn college credit) and absolutely are terrible at all kinds of math? I am just horrible at math. I failed Geometry in high school and I still carry that shame so naturally, I am terrified of taking Stats which will probably be just as bad and probably even harder.
man, I'm still having trouble with math, tomorrow I have application for a job and I have to do math... I Still can't figure out...I'm having trouble with figuring out... I know this guy is amazing smart, but I'm really low in intelligency or what?

@bitchslapper12 no i just work for a living and have multiple bills to pay. car electric rent etc... and by the time all my bills are paid and food is bought i only have a bout $50 each month and thats what i spend on me and my wife usually to get me something for my xbox or for my wifes wants . occasionally we have other expenses.
@glad2teach I am not sure about what u are talking bro:)) I am talking not about u, i mean the guy which gave so many stupid comments before :) for this i sad RÜDIGER HOFFMANN:)
@PetitTabarnak Those kids will calculate faster than you. Their brains will work just like a calculator. I know I was like that but I lost my skill with age because mental calculation wasn't needed. People looks at you like you are a weirdo if you do a 3digit multiplications in 5 seconds without a calculator. I didn't liked that look :P.
Errr you seem really nice and all glad2teach, but these fast math tricks are mostly useless in the real world. Instead if memorizing these tricks, I've been learning new things (calculus, etc.) and am now going into university in math. The advanced stuff is what's important, granted these are cool tricks, albeit completely obsolete.

Will this help someone who needs to take a Statistics class? Or Calculus?
Is there any kind of algorithm also for square roots?

@boredfromky completely false. Educate yourself further before you post again.
