The thing i’m scared of when asking someone out is not if they reject me, it’s if they reject me then make it a public thing and laugh at me.
Professing your love in a school setting can be tough since it's like an environment you can't escape from. When you are out of school one day, you won't feel as held back about rejection! You can meet so many people, and if you get rejected, don't have to worry about seeing them again.
It just basically feels embarrassing. Like I would never be able to recover and always act weird around him.
