Just a cheeky overnighter when we finally had time to spare on Heckwood Tor. Although I didn't do this tor justice in this film it's a pretty impressive bundle of rocks about 300 yards/meters long. With one of the best balancing stones to be found anywhere on Dartmoor.

It's a fine view and very easy to get to for a crafty overnight.
Nothing like a fun camp out. Some great shots of the nature around. And yes,stuff Darwall. Look forward to more of your adventures.

I've been on the bleak moor recently and not a Jinx or a Brian anywhere to be see but the weather was still cold and wet :) Nice bit of woodland close to Heckwood tor Si

Hi Ant hope you're well mate.
There are a few pro's and con's with it. Some of the pro's are it's plenty big enough for the three of us, the two doors being offset is a great idea and plenty of pockets for small gear. Con's it's a bitch to set up in the wind and the inner first isn't designed for our weather, lol. It does get a lot of condensation, that maybe user error, but it's the worse I've had for that...and the colour, but that's my fault. Not sure I'd get another one.
Imagine if you had dog food and no food for you 😆
