Important Clarification: 1) I want to emphasise that I think online education is BRILLIANT - my issue with this industry is not to do with the selling of online courses. Online courses have helped me learn how to edit this exact video, and every other video on the channel. The problem with “fake guru’s” is… 2) The Marketing. The biggest problem with “fake gurus” is their deceptive marketing. There’s nothing wrong with selling a course on dropshipping, but marketing it as a lifestyle product, and framing it as though everyone who buys the course has a high chance of gaining “financial freedom” is just clear deception. The majority of students will NOT attain that goal, and yet gurus will pedal their courses as though it is near guaranteed. Even when a guru says “you have to put in the work” momentarily during their webinar, it does not negate the other 50+ minutes they’ve spent trying to make it look like it’s an easy game - at this point, the viewer is so attached to the idea of it being easy that a one-time mention of “you have to put in the work” will fly above their heads.
I do believe that there are some channels that really are good to listen to like a young man named Graham Stephan who talks about Real Estate. It is sometimes difficult to tell good from bad, but I would like to hear some channels that you think are legitimately helpful :)
Yes! There absolutely are “good apples” in this niche. As a matter of fact, Graham Stephan inspired me to start my own channel 😉. Other examples of my own personal favourites are Meet Kevin, Andrei Jikh, Nate O Brien, and just recently I’ve been looking at Alex Becker’s videos after he did a complete 180 on his content and quit the “make money online” niche - he has some really good content.
James Jani Thanks, I’ll look into those channels tomorrow. I was just watching your video on The Truth About Money and thought your message was pretty good.
Oh, and it goes without saying that I love MJ Demarco’s books. He’s not a “guru” per say, but his works have absolutely changed the way I see money, entrepreneurship, and life as a whole. I recommend his stuff to damn near everyone that’s listening 🙏

I fell victim to this about 6yrs ago. Went to a seminar in Florida on how to start and create a profitable business. I was desperate because of continuous struggle and I wanted a better life (financially). The initial event was around $75. The info was all generalized. Then went to another event and it was free since I paid for the previous one. The catch is that at the end of the second event. They offer all the info you actually needed and someone to contact if you had any questions. But to get this it was around $1,000. I saw people actually pushing each other and scrambling like ants. I actually was thinking twice...did it because I was desperate and thought it was going to benefit me. At the end...I was in the hole $1000 dollars and felt I gain nothing from it. I did learn one thing that only I can create something for myself. Currently working to hone my digital art skills and create my own path.

There HAS to be regulation with these kind of videos. These fake gurus need the exact same regulations EA and Activision are getting and fully deserved. I almost fell for one. She made it look so believable. Even had a reasonable ebook cost and her sessions were like 100-200 for a one on one session. But she was offering training for Amazon fba and making it seem like anybody could get rich off of it, but when she would speak on how to profit off of it I realized you’re not actually profiting anything because Amazon takes more than half of your money. So then it clicked that the reason why she was doing Amazon fba AND offering consultation and e books was because she knew it wasn’t actually guaranteed profit. So she was really making money off of selling a dream to her followers.
Hi Steph, I’m not saying that lady is right. She is wrong about it being easy. She is right about amazon FBA. And it is very profitable. But it’s not easy. It’s not fast. Most of the people he taught real estate to likely never got a return on their education. Michael Burton its really nothing new. This kind of thing has been going on for years. It’s just easier for them to get an audience without much effort.
YTACRelax well that’s just it, they aren’t technically breaking any laws, and they do one important thing: they make people feel good about themselves. Look at people who buy into it - those who are dissatisfied with their life, those who want more success, those who want recognition, those who want to change but can’t do it themselves. Sound familiar? I’ve probably just described about 90% of the population. There have been “gurus” promoting all sorts just to make money, the medium in which this is done is somewhat changed although they still tap into deep seated insecurities and desires. You need to only look at a topic like dieting to see the similar approach - promises of a new life, a new you, if only you follow my tried and tested steps. Most of the time, what do they have in common? Promises of an easy victory with little work (or less work than you currently do), a radical change in your life, an easy “solution” which you can buy into and feel like you should have seen it. It’s flashy, attention grabbing, the person is charismatic and they show you the “results” of their method. What they actually deliver is bits of information, or presentations filled with vague terms and little actual content. This leaves you feeling like they are intelligent and knowledgeable, but you need to know more (because they didn’t actually tell you much). And if you don’t succeed, it isn’t their fault, its yours, because you haven’t done X. I can completely understand why some people get taken in, and it’s a bit like a religion, it fills the void in their life. If it isn’t illegal and going to be stopped by external forces, then I can see why people don’t give up on them easily either.
If something sounds too good to be true, it is! It's really that simple. Most people wouldn't become victims of these scams, cults, MLMs, religions, etc. if they would just follow this.
My wife and I ran into a very friendly young couple at target the other night. They had just moved to town and asked us for things to do in the area. They casually mention they’re quitting their jobs soon because they met a guy who retired at 22, and they’re going to follow his program. 30 minutes later we saw them again, empty shopping cart, telling another young couple about it. I have no doubt they were trying to recruit others that night. We dodged a bullet there!
I went through this same thing! They preach this crazy dream of retiring in your twenties and working from a laptop on the beach! Awful stuff! I am glad James is an honest genuine voice in this space. He inspired me to be the same way with my UA-cam channel.

I remember reading about how one guy attended one of these live get rich quick seminars. The scammer on stage was advertising his $5k course training program. The guy was encouraging his audience to call up their banks and ask them to raise their credit limit so they can purchase his course. He even gave them a script on how to convince their bank to give them the $5k loan. Really disturbing stuff.
that's terrifying. I was in a similar situation with one of these types of people as well, I've felt ashamed about that interaction ever since. Not even an hour after I gave this guy $100 to "hold the $1500 price" of a course for 24 hours before it jumped to $2500 (absolutely ridiculous), I realized that $1500 in ads of my art alone could skyrocket my reach on social media and transform my life with a little bit of strategy and dedication. There are many ways even a $100 investment could move the needle, just takes a bit of research on the right way to use it.
I went to one of these in person. All it required was a small upfront "investment" - my parents talked me out of it, and I'm glad they did. Now all these online versions simply copy the script of what I heard...

Lukas. Be sure, these people, these online gurus will break a leg on the way to the bank one day. They are lying to themselves as well as others. To take a job manipulating people with low self esteem is the lowest of the low.
The main issue I have found is that they all never go into exact detail on how to be Successful!! It’s Rhetoric and stories that make you feel like them. How do they get away with this?
Legal psychological manipulation. That's why you always see in fine print, some variation of "Results not typical or representative..." while the presenter is blatantly implying the exact opposite (because they can't LEGALLY say the exact opposite). I've got no love for con men, but the average purchaser of these products, has to take some responsibility as well. You always need to try to guage someone's intentions, try to verify their credentials, and take paid testimonies with a grain of salt. Sometimes even the most diligent can be conned...in that case, do the exact thing you would do in a failed relationship...get out asap, and try to learn from your experience.
I also saw it this way, after watching some of their videos, usually they all just say rhetoric things and that was why I run away. Anyway I’m glad I found your comment so I know that I’m not the only one thinking that way.
Thanks for posting this. I’ve heard several ads from these gurus online and was very curious about them. I’m way too poor to purchase and my instincts told me it probably wasn’t worth the bank they ask. I am amazed at how all the dishonest models have so much in common: cults, MLM, gurus, and probably TONS of others use the same or very similar tactics. I’d love to see a video comparing the similarities. I think that would help people realize what they are dealing with no matter what the package looks like. It’s the same deal with new makeup and hairdo.

I do, and i watched the whole vid Actually i understand him, he has a fair point But i am not sure if dan lok is a fake guru? For example He gives a lot of free content which is very amazing on youtube So far i watched many videos of him snd i couldnt find anything which would not be true so far... And invest money into yourself has always been the best value in the long run. It helped me reprogram my mindset a lot so far Yes i am not where i wanna be yet. But to be exact If you know how to buy houses and how to get a good credit for affording one (as an Investment of course) doesnt bring you anywhere if you dont know how ro make other people like you. If youre an asshole noone would like to do business with you and you will be continously missing outbon the best deals. Just to name a short examples of it - hope it is understandable. An other point which i figured out so far: 1. Theese courses are only helpful if you already have the right mindset about all the other things around (mentioned one example above) 2. 90% of the time they Actually are NOT helpful because your way of doing it, is different - i will explain: I was into network marketing and friends of me who literally had nothing before (just likenin theese "guru" videos as you Name theliterally became a millionaire and i got to see it was true because i saw there Balances. Why did it not work out for me then? Because network marketing wasnt a way for me. I personally felt uncomfortable doing it. And yes i managed aswell to make some big successes buti never had my break through there. What i am focusing now in order to get rich: First minimalize your spendings (everything included - food, phone, car, rent etc.) Next step invest that money into something which will bring you more money. As dan lok said: money has many jobs - not just one: spend, save, invest, donate (maybe i forgot one here) So with that beikg said i bought myself a book about how to evolve my mindset (i am german and the book also is german sorry for that^^) And next step is to find a course or "guru" if you wanna name it that way who offers the way which i have choosen myself and which fits my own personality. And i prefer to search for someone who does not earn Anything by charging the audience directly for courses or Seminars and second someone who also made his own money with that what i wanna learn about. And of course the free content first. If the free content is done and you have memorized it and you feel good about that what you intend to make money with Then first start right after you start learning. Success will follow Not in big steps - it comes small. But it is coming. And then when you have your base made and the first amount of extra money appears (like when you put your spendings down while thinking about how to spend less money for the same thing etc.) You can use THAT money to start with) For me it is saving 3 months of salary, but because i was ableto turn my spendings down a lot more i am also able to invest into bitcoin at the same time plus every month a little amount of money into gold. - yes im a bit proud about that :D Guess what i have done: i was only using free content so far (and yeah an proper expensive seminar plus that german book i mentioned before.) And yeah now its slowly starting to grow. And yeah i also know many people who Actually got successful with theese "gurus" - but the good ones not those 99% of others ^^ Just tomention that aswell. In the end they are right: gettin rich is only up to one person, the one which is inside the mirror when you look into it. Others csn just support you but you have to carry it yourself or you dont deserve it Thats it. Some little note at the side: only listen to people which are where you wanna be. Can turn out a hard task when everyone around you is not. But when you wanna lose weicht and build muscles you do also nlt go to "fat joe" . You go to an bodybuilder or some Trainer snd you ask him. Follow that path and listen to what they tell you and you will at some point be where they are.

the format you chose, to weave in hypothetical conversation directly between a skeptical mark and the fake guru was a great choice. anytime a lesson can be encapsulated within a dialogue it allows a teacher to pack so much more information into their words. it also keeps things light, and stops the constant stream of qualifying oneself one tends to do before every 'factual' statement. top marks dude

@@michaelhanford8139 Totally, my life would probably be much better, but my part of the family has always been kind of meek. In every company I have worked at, most of the manager and senior positions are filled with people who don't know what they are doing or are supposed to do, but because they can talk with confidence, even if it is a total bullsh*t, they always get away with it. Example: An account manager in one of the companies I worked at caused the loss of a multimillion contract, because they added services and changes that the client didn't want. Not only that, but the client received a compensation of 5 millions. After all this he didn't get fired, no, he got promoted and moved to even bigger account.
@@88Xlmk yes, the way I was raised to believe things should work was bullshit but I still prefer to do my job well and don't much care if I get praised or promoted. I made peace with "life isn't fair" and don't expect it to be anymore. It makes me much less angry than I used to be.

@@نبض_الحروف hehe, typing this with youtube vanced rn. Ain't nuttin more annoying to me than a video with unskipable ad of some prick advertising his garbage products.
I've been hooked into watching several of those intro "free" online seminars, and got excited and hopeful that I could do what they supposedly achieved. But thankfully I have not succumbed totally. I ended buying 3 separate "courses" over last 5 years, but made sure they had a money back no question asked guarantee within first month or two. In all three cases I got the refund because I could tell it wouldn't deliver what it promised. Here's a strange fact: All of them....every one.....were selling $1000's worth of course value for $497 if I act now. Strange. Also in your video here was one with a $497 fee. There must be something special about the $497 figure.
It's true only a few make it to the top and earn A LOT of money. Everyone has a chance to dream and aim at it. But it's also true that only a few COMMIT to do it. So no wonder only a few. No excuses and bitterness. Just DO it. Do MORE.
These fake gurus are shameless, taking advantage of naive or desperate people. They should be convicted of BS , and crucified upside down with their seminar crumpled down their throat.
Mindvalley's free "Masterclasses" come to mind. It's just 1hour of them talking how great the paid course of the speaker is. It's a collosal waste of time.
Some of them do have basic bits of information that would be useful to beginners. If like 70% of the class is a commercial, then fair enough. I think that's a fair exchange for something you're getting for free. My beef is with those that are 100% sales pitch. If you want to sell me something, don't call it a class.
This video's a bummer. There was a point where I could have gotten sucked into one of these schemes. Thankfully the furthest I ever went was to dip my toe into the entry level stuff, and then had the discernment to not be impressed enough to continue up their ladder.
The question people need to ask themselves 'Why would a stranger on the internet tell me their secrets of making thousands of dollars, wouldn't you rather keep it to yourself?'
Excellent presentation and valid points. Thank you. I have thought long and hard about these online guru courses, and having signed up to one or two entry-level courses and seen a few 'free' online seminars. When you look at commercial enterprises they pay for only two things fundamentally: product (that serves you or you can sell); leads (high-value, high-probability sales customers). Nothing else.
Why would someone who is making so much money from their business model be spending so much time and money to sell this business model as a course to others? Is it because they make most of their money from the course and not the business model?
I tried telling people this exact thing once and they shot me down. Telling me that it's a legitimate business, selling your knowledge, to help others succeed... I agree, it is... But you gotta realise there are fakes... Yet they still shot me down... Now I see those same people crying, after they have seen your video and realise they have wasted their money... So my message is now for you... Keep up the good work kid, show everyone out there, the truth... You have obviously done research and presented it well in your videos... You have earned my Subscription... 😁😎
It’s sad how these fake gurus prey on people’s desperation and vulnerability. There are so many good books out there that teach you how to live a better life financially or start a business for dirt cheap and they are jam packed with value. I’m thankful you made this video and are bringing this to more people’s attention. People are paying ridiculous prices only to get their hopes crushed at the end ☹️
Almost everyone who makes books from self made guru are self published short and quick and have no value you're better off buying off something not from kindle self publishing as that gives more insights than the books these gurus made.
Yeah those books are most likely sold by shady self help gurus. I would watch the mlm video because it ties in how those get rich quick people sell shitty products to people who are vulnerable. Not to shit on starting businesses but the ethics of these people is horrible, it’s just make this business for financial freedom when in reality it should be about your passion for something that you want to start a business for.
Usually my course is $1000 a month but you know what.... you know.... I’ll cut you a deal since you’re my special student. $500 a month just for you man.
I talked to a guy, he was obviously very successful doing this but I was skeptical either way because I'm no dummy. He pressured me to buy his course, saying it was normally $17k but since I was on the call with him he would reduce it to $10k. To make things worse, he used an excellent sales technique to give me a sense of urgency and pressure on me saying that as soon as I'd hang up, the course would go back to $17k. I felt really uncomfortable and like I was being taken advantage of so I made up an excuse to hang up and never answered him again. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

But like you said in your other video about the toxicity of self-help, it's easy to get hooked on the next course, book, or life hack video to consume. Although I never got pulled in deep like those Dan Lok's programs, I still wasted a good amount of money stuck in that cycle. Thank you for making this video, I hope others will come across it and shatter the glass on the marketing tactics these fake gurus are using.

Greed is good. Greed is what motivates people to go to work everyday and produce more than they consume. Greed is what every person wants, they want financial freedom. What you are confusing with greed is actually fraud. Fraud is when people lie about something to take advantage of others for self profit. Fraud is evil, not greed my friend. Most people don't understand the difference. While these fraud gurus exist, what they sell does work for some people, just that the majority of people it won't help. Many people lack the motivation or ability to implement the needed changes to their life to become successful. Just because something doesn't work for everyone doesn't make it a scam. A person just needs to understand their limitations and abilities to carry out what it takes to be successful and most people want to take easy street. There is no get rich quick and easy scheme out there. If you want to become successful it takes many hard working hours and sacrifice to do so. Most people don't want to make this sacrifice and they stop trying too soon. Not everyone can be successful or should be successful. Money doesn't buy happiness. Accomplishment is what makes people happy in life. Many folks are happy without being accomplished and enjoy the smaller things in life which is totally fine. We are all different and have different goals and ambitions in life.
So I was wondering, can't you people do a police complain about them or what? I've never heard anyone doing it, but watched videos of exposing them like this guy did..
Madame Defarge community college is much less of a scam then going to a university we’re they charge a ton more for courses you can learn for much cheaper
Not much of a scam tbh. You can only do certain jobs if you're officially qualified in them by an organization empowered for giving qualifications. If you get a degree or a diploma or some other qualification, it miraculously adds "value" to your skill, even if you had it before you went to college. But that's the price we pay for safety and quality, and I think we're better for it.
What a concise description, I've just gone through 2 (initial) programmes with 2 different guru's who basically do exactly what you have said (not gonna mention who they are sorry). Today I decided that they were simply too good to be true, I was nearly 'had' for a moment. The points that you made resonated with my (same) conclusions. For me they did not provide enough clarity (intentionally) and they do not practice what they preach either. Alarm bells were ringing throughout all the webinars, websites, blueprints, etc etc. I asked one of the so called millionaires "if it's it's too good to be true then it usually is", he replied along the lines of, "well no actually, if it's too good to be true then you have stumbled across something amazing and should do it". REALLY! See ya. The other company said that's the offer should be £20k+ but today it's £2k... Seriously 🤣. You mentioned the word "Value", this term is floated around a lot and means different things to different people but the 'price value' that they put on things is simply plucked out of thin air.
Important Clarification:
1) I want to emphasise that I think online education is BRILLIANT - my issue with this industry is not to do with the selling of online courses.
Online courses have helped me learn how to edit this exact video, and every other video on the channel. The problem with “fake guru’s” is…
2) The Marketing.

@@AR-kg2xz Wait a few months. He's going to sell something for sure. His videos are truthy, however, this is ALSO how he hooks people. I'm curious about the correlation between fake gurus and bad haircuts.
😂😂😂😂
Bro fr😂😂
It's intentional. They need to look like an average guy who got rich so average guys believe they can do it too.
😂😂😂
@@ienjoyapples I like that way of thought
The irony is that these gurus are so good at advertising, if they taught that instead, their followers would probably be more successful
Why create more competition?
@@paulaxa1 they can teach them everything they need to know to be good, but not everything that they know themselves
@road2glory a fair point
They are scam artists they wouldn't teach you that
They can't actually let their followers get successful, because then their followers won't keep throwing their money at them
they always lead with “look how much money I have” and my first question is “ if you’re already so rich, why are you trying to get my money? You seem needy to me.”
They are very needy and trying convince so hard. If he was ritch he wouldn’t be spending time marking some Amazon courses
Ahh! But there is definitely a good reason for asking for money for the course! They'll just say, "I'm only asking for $$$. I ask for this because people tend to value courses that cost money. It motivates you to perform, to take action. For example, if this course was free, you wouldn't take what I say seriously. You won't take action! It devalues this program, and wastes your time, my time, and everyone's time. Hence I'm only asking for $$$, which should also help cover the costs for hiring my video editor. Thank you."
^ Direct experience here. I didn't fall for it, my mother did. And she is still in that cult.
THAT part. I'm always thinking are they actually rich?
😂
Their answer: “because I provide value to your life.”
Truth: “because my wealth is funded by you buying my course.”
I really needed to see this! As a college educator I have offered certification courses for over a decade before coming to youtube. I offer various allied health certification preparation courses which also assist people in working remote.
I read your explanation and update in the comments and didn't feel as though you were attacking online courses per say but when courses seem to be the vehicle 4 fake gurus to offer courses by way of using money, financial freedom or 6 figures versus an actual specifically defined goal like becoming a certified professional ie. Certified medical analyst or certified coder via a defined goal based course.
Thanks for this as it helps me know what to steer clear in offering my services on yt
Dad's teaching: "If they know a way to make money, they're not gonna straight up share it with you for one simple reason: competition. For every promise, there's a catch. Make sure you find that "catch" before buying into anything."
How does this point have the least upticks.. It is the most important point..
Great Dad.
This is true. That's why companies make you sign NDAs to protect trade secrets. If someone is willing to sell you a million dollar idea for "an e-book that only costs $39.95"...it's not a million dollar idea.
Thanks dad

There HAS to be regulation with these kind of videos. These fake gurus need the exact same regulations EA and Activision are getting and fully deserved. There just like these video game companies, with the micro transactions and loot boxes, they sell you something that your not guaranteed to get and they still manage to manipulate you into buying it and establishing the notion that THATS YOUR PROBLEM for buying that FIFA gold pack or 10,000 dollars worth of courses. These gurus need regulation in UA-cam. And once they get it, bye bye marketing and bye bye money.

Hi Steph,
I’m not saying that lady is right.
She is wrong about it being easy.
She is right about amazon FBA. And it is very profitable. But it’s not easy. It’s not fast. And you will want to budget about 10-20k to launch your product.
Am I a guru? No but I should be.
I think there are real people and fake people.
I’ve been doing e-commerce since I was 23 and now I’m 40. And I’ve considered training and coaching people not because amazon or e-commerce doesn’t pay. Because actually I get great joy from actually helping people. And as of late I’m quite tired of what I do. And want to connect and help others.
Anyway, if you have any questions. Post them here. I really don’t have anything to sell you 😂 (sounds like I do after watching this) but no really. I have nothing to sell. But happy to point you in the right direction.
One thing is for sure on amazon.
- PRODUCT RESEARCH like crazy to find opportunities.
- You can not sell what everybody else is selling.
- yes, amazon takes plenty. Pick/pack/final value then you have your PPC costs.
It means
Come up with a unique product. Find the opportunity. Creat a very high quality product. Like the best. Then make sure you can resell it for 4x what you bought. You can get away with 3x but really you want that 4x

Hard to admit, I was a uni student in my first year in the pandemic, worried about the future and lonely and almost got roped into following a spiritual guru. A guru once told me the truth, “I made my hundreds of thousands doing real estate but made my millions teaching real estate.”
It's true. He is successfully leveling up his business. The key point is did he share his money making strategy and more importantly did you follow that.
Cause there's more money in education, nothing wrong with that. He also told you exactly where to start, selling real estate!
Most of the people he taught real estate to likely never got a return on their education. They were promised big returns with minimal work or investment, and then when they tried to apply their "knowledge" the cold reality of things hit.
Those folks always make the best seminar customers, and when you want to teach another money making opportunity down the road, they'll be back with their wallets open again.
@@scarpfish If ur are learning real estate from a course, it's called an investment.

Our education system is also doing this hacks. We are at the age of knowledge. Any one can learn anything.

Why do they want YOUR money?

There are many ways even a $100 investment could move the needle, just takes a bit of research on the right way to use it.

He gives a lot of free content which is very amazing on youtube
So far i watched many videos of him snd i couldnt find anything which would not be true so far...
And invest money into yourself has always been the best value in the long run. It helped me reprogram my mindset a lot so far
Yes i am not where i wanna be yet. But to be exact
If you know how to buy houses and how to get a good credit for affording one (as an Investment of course) doesnt bring you anywhere if you dont know how ro make other people like you. If youre an asshole noone would like to do business with you and you will be continously missing outbon the best deals. Just to name a short examples of it - hope it is understandable.
An other point which i figured out so far:
1. Theese courses are only helpful if you already have the right mindset about all the other things around (mentioned one example above)
2. 90% of the time they Actually are NOT helpful because your way of doing it, is different - i will explain:
I was into network marketing and friends of me who literally had nothing before (just likenin theese "guru" videos as you Name theliterally became a millionaire and i got to see it was true because i saw there Balances.
Why did it not work out for me then? Because network marketing wasnt a way for me. I personally felt uncomfortable doing it. And yes i managed aswell to make some big successes buti never had my break through there.
What i am focusing now in order to get rich:
First minimalize your spendings (everything included - food, phone, car, rent etc.)
Next step invest that money into something which will bring you more money.
As dan lok said: money has many jobs - not just one: spend, save, invest, donate (maybe i forgot one here)
So with that beikg said i bought myself a book about how to evolve my mindset (i am german and the book also is german sorry for that^^)
And next step is to find a course or "guru" if you wanna name it that way who offers the way which i have choosen myself and which fits my own personality.
And i prefer to search for someone who does not earn Anything by charging the audience directly for courses or Seminars and second someone who also made his own money with that what i wanna learn about. And of course the free content first. If the free content is done and you have memorized it and you feel good about that what you intend to make money with
Then first start right after you start learning. Success will follow
Not in big steps - it comes small. But it is coming.
And then when you have your base made and the first amount of extra money appears (like when you put your spendings down while thinking about how to spend less money for the same thing etc.) You can use THAT money to start with)
For me it is saving 3 months of salary, but because i was ableto turn my spendings down a lot more i am also able to invest into bitcoin at the same time plus every month a little amount of money into gold. - yes im a bit proud about that :D
Guess what i have done: i was only using free content so far (and yeah an proper expensive seminar plus that german book i mentioned before.)
And yeah now its slowly starting to grow.
And yeah i also know many people who Actually got successful with theese "gurus" - but the good ones not those 99% of others ^^
Just tomention that aswell.
In the end they are right: gettin rich is only up to one person, the one which is inside the mirror when you look into it.
Others csn just support you but you have to carry it yourself or you dont deserve it
Thats it.
Take best out them & leave bad

So true! I bought some courses from Tony Robbins and Dean Graziozi and I’m in Project Next Level Course (10,000) and only know one person who created his course (no sales yet 9 months later) and most people didn’t even finish the course they bought for 10,000. It’s one offer after the next. Stats are not in their favor
My husband just bought the new course from tony robbins what you think about these seminars did they work first you or just the new age stuff
Imagine if James ended the video by pitching his own course haha. All that trust he built up through the video, he could have nailed it.

Omg haha losers everywhere
It's true only a few make it to the top and earn A LOT of money. Everyone has a chance to dream and aim at it. But it's also true that only a few COMMIT to do it. So no wonder only a few. No excuses and bitterness. Just DO it. Do MORE.
These fake gurus are shameless, taking advantage of naive or desperate people. They should be convicted of BS , and crucified upside down with their seminar crumpled down their throat.
Sounds like politicians.
There is no such thing as "free training". Its not training, its an extended commercial!!🙄
Facts
Mindvalley's free "Masterclasses" come to mind. It's just 1hour of them talking how great the paid course of the speaker is. It's a collosal waste of time.
Some of them do have basic bits of information that would be useful to beginners. If like 70% of the class is a commercial, then fair enough. I think that's a fair exchange for something you're getting for free. My beef is with those that are 100% sales pitch. If you want to sell me something, don't call it a class.

Why would someone who is making so much money from their business model be spending so much time and money to sell this business model as a course to others?
Is it because they make most of their money from the course and not the business model?

He pressured me to buy his course, saying it was normally $17k but since I was on the call with him he would reduce it to $10k. To make things worse, he used an excellent sales technique to give me a sense of urgency and pressure on me saying that as soon as I'd hang up, the course would go back to $17k.

I've never heard anyone doing it, but watched videos of exposing them like this guy did..
I once paid $1500 for my local community college course and I felt it was a scam as well.
Ah that's funny.
wow that's a lot
Community college is a huge scam. It does help a small few, but those people were going to make it anyway.
