Great Kits and I have a sets on both of our Mustangs as well as our 2018 Platinum Explorer. That part that pisses me off is Ford refuses to install these from the factory.
i just got a set for my car, do you recall the struts being so stiff they couldn't even be compressed by hand? Just wanted to make sure mine aren't stuck, broken or something before drilling my hood
Those are terrible, the struts themselves are soooo long, and drilling/riveting the brackets into place? Hard to believe these are even on the market. The MRT's are so much nicer, truly "bolt on".

The 2020 GT500 finally has a factory hood strut.
The reason being the prop will never die
The trunk struts lived a short life that’s for sure

They will be difficult to compress by hand, that is normal. The weight of the hood and the leverage make a difference.
