They were already friends from working together on River from that "flop" album Revival. I'm being sarcastic, it's almost 4x platinum! Revival is an amazing album. True, it is different from the "normal" Eminem. But, to me, that's part of its charm.

@@ksera3605I envy you. The craziest concert and best show I’ve seen was Trent Reznor/NIN. I took my nephew and the whole stadium sang every single song. It was nuts! It was cool to hear my nephew singing along too. I knew he knew Year Zero, but he knew every single song. I don't have any kids, but I imagine what I felt in that moment is a 1/5th of what a proud parent feels I gather. 😊
Ed Sheeran not only a fan but apparently had a stutter until learning Ems lyrics and rapping along.. so you could almost say we wouldn’t have Ed Sheeran if it wasn’t for Eminem 🔥 story 🙌
Man, seeing them perform brings me to tears, knowing how much Eminem means to Ed as well, literally curing his speech impediment. A life goal of mine is to see him in person

I've been a Stan all my life, I was at the concert.. when Eminem said stand up trust me EVERYONE did. Kids, elderly everyone! The building was rumbling. I stood the rest of the concert. Ed Sheeran is a phenomenal artist. He made his beats right on the spot using a loop step the entire show was unbelievable.
I got goosebumps by reading this! Amazing experience!

I feel so blessed to have grown up watching legendary artists like Em's career blossom. Him and several others are our Michael Jackson's, Beatles, sports figures like Michael Jordan. Eminem is our version of icons like that, amongst other artists and athletes today. I feel lucky to have been here for their journey.
I'm pissed. Dead serious hand to God. I was the deciding factor to NOT go to this concert and I even said, only way I'd go is if Eminem showed up and that ain't happening and then proceeded to buy Lions v Falcons tix.....yeah my wife is pissed

I just saw Beyoncé in London and it’s been 2 months and I still cry. My whole spirituality has changed. I’m 43 and I honestly need to see this man live. It’s my only thing left to do ❤️🇮🇪🇮🇪

I was there and it was EPIC.
Ed can rap too. He doesn't now but listen to his first album. He was good too. His first album was his best for me. The songs on that had a depth to to the lyrics. Songs like A team,Lego house & Small bump. Such a great song with a twist at the end. Listen to it a until the end.
The production of the first album is more low key. & Better for it. This is before he became a pop star. Doing standard pop songs. Although his new album seems to have gone back to the way it was before.

I am honestly curious if there's someone specific that is the reason Eminem's wearing a plate carrier here; he was also wearing it at the R&R HoF induction. I remember hearing some people comment on him looking a little chubby then, but it looks to me like it's almost all from the carrier and plates in it.
I tried to get my son's to go across border and drive 4 hrs to go see this and they didn’t want to. We love ES and M&M so we really Missed Out!!

Watching this still brings back the joy and excitement I felt being at the concert when it happened. This was an amazing concert. Rosa Linn rocked it, Khalid was fantastic and Ed Sheeran knows how to put on an amazing show, and bringing Em on the stage was the icing on the cake. Best concert I've ever been to.
my sister was at this concert, and contacted me after to freak out about him showing up, i wasn't surprised and she got mad, i just told her it's common for him to show up at the Detroit shows of artists he is friends with, hes been doing it for years at this point.

Another fact, Em helped Ed as a child with a very bad stutter.
