I hate when sellers say “I have no idea what I want for all of this, make me. An offer” and then you make an offer and she says well I wanted 100 for the whole thing. Well you didn’t say that before!
Makes me want to shout at the screen 📺 you are doing a sale, you cannot expect to be the buyer & seller at the same time. Sell it on line if that's what they go for, so annoying!!

I think he should have tried to get somewhere in between 75-100. Just because he's got 300 in his wallet it doesn't mean he should pay full price.

I admired how respectful you are when it comes to negotiating price. I’ve met some people who will criticize the seller (which no one should ever do) about their asking price. “Oh you’ll never get that much.” Is one that I hear a lot and it gets on my nerves. Great finds Matt! Enjoyed the video as always.
That Flippin Guy Exactly. I always respect the seller when they quote me a price. More times than none as you talk to them and be respectful the price will magically come down. Some people just don’t get it.

OHH when they say I searched online- haha. Or- they say that they are going to list it if it doesn't sell. It's a garage sale- you are not in a store. Just unreal. Garage sales are to get rid of stuff and not have to deal with it.

I always get anxious when other people are around during the deal like that. Perfect example would be today. I went to this inside sale, and found a ps1, 2 and a bunch of games and misc vintage items. I started making a pile, and all of the sudden everyone is interested in my pile. Then, I saw a guy with a Turbografx tshirt walk in, and I'm like "I got to get this stuff out of here now" I don't know what it is, but I dig that dude with the boxing gym shirt. He seems like a stand up guy. You can tell he's used to calling the shots though.

The rat suit reminds me of a character from a kid's TV show from the 90s called Beakman's World, similar to Bill Nye, really good show with a lot of comedy but also great learning for kids

Hell yeah! That’s the way you bargain a deal at a garage sale with someone that’s not educated on what all that Nintendo stuff is actually going for. Lol “Hell YEAH”!! So good, Matt. I did that last week with a guy that was selling over 80 games of Old Nintendo. I felt great after!!
I would have made an offer on the whole table full of camera stuff. Some of that stuff takes awhile to sell but you can make some good money on it. Lots of people overseas buy older camera stuff.

I would've been real tempted to ask for a price on all/most of that old camera and mixing equipment at the last sale. I saw a few mixing boards sort of tucked away under a table outside, wireless follow focus, and a REAL nice Nikon lens on that fairly bad Nikon digital camera. I've always done super well on stuff like that, even outdated.
That was a lonnie move.. haggle price down then ask for change, lol....

The iPhone 7 is known to have issues with the phone bending slightly, this caused major issues with the screen. My wife had two of them and they both messed up

The two of you agreed on a price, if they didn't want to sell it for $75 then they wouldn't agree to sell it for $75.
They know you're negotiating based on what you want to pay for it, not based on how much money you have in your wallet.

Camera person here who flips, great price on the Nikon cameras & lenses. But I would definitely avoid those APS cameras. It’s a technology that didn’t do that well and isn’t desirable that much. You can still make money on it considering you bought it for very cheap but it won’t be a big flip like a 35mm film camera in the box like that.
Agree on the APS. The only one I would buy is Contax. I found a Leica Mini Zoom the other day for $9.99.
The Apple router is not supported by Apple any more and can be compromised. Apple stopped making any routers.
There is a new Pokemon Snap game coming out on Switch so if you haven't sold it already you may want to hold it for a little bit to see if the price spikes (like it has on a bunch of other games that just got new versions, like Animal Crossing and Tony Hawk)

Lesson that I learned 25 years ago Never carry money in your wallet always in your front pocket. 1. Everything in your wallet can be replaced other than cash money, 2. If someone grabbed your wallet again everything can be replaces other than cash money, 3. If you drop your wallet everything can be replaced other than cash money. 4 If you leave your wallet at home and you need cash money its in your front pocket. Just for laughs LOL Good finds!!

That N64 lot is legit! I recently got my 64 and games restored, and its awesome playing it, and searching out games to play. This site sells cleaning tools for the games if you aren't already aware of them.

Since I see you're a Nintendo 64 fan. I dug out my son's old Zelda -Majora's Mask Hologram game and noticed a corner of the case that goes into the machine is missing from the lower rectangle and including the small square next to it. Do you foresee any problems with the workings? I still have my original Nintendo and never progressed to another system except for the original GameBoy that my son took with him somehow. Too small for me! BTW, we are from Albany and before that Concord and Orinda! I never had an issue with Oakland, but I also didn't stray from the main drags. Liked Emeryville, though. We are needing Zachary's pizza and Ikea in Reno!
He's not going into the bad areas. That's the trick to thinking Oakland "isn't that bad." I lived close to Oakland for 8 years. It, like most of the major population areas in California, are total shit. I moved out of the state a couple years ago. Having a mob of people coming through during the previous riots/protests were enough for me.
Apple items always sell good and fast. Even for parts. I know some people also buy boxes and cases from products. The time capsule is a great product, and apple doesn't make them anymore.
I recently bought a phone just like that off of eBay, wasn't yours though, no box. There is a screen issue on mine too, but it doesn't bother me. I was using an iPhone 5 before, so old I couldn't get the eBay app, so I had to upgrade if I wanted to pick again. My "new" phone works great for me.
Nice pick-ups. Camera equipment will do well. If you can actually provide a clip of the rat costume in the movie short in your listing, you could fetch a nice price. Maybe a few hundred. $$$
