Love, love, love Yosemite National Park... been there many times... my favorite spot in the whole world when it is not crowded... of course, I believe the most magnificent approach is through the southern entrance... absolutely awe-inspiring... Also, love the new Rivian... been watching for its debut for a long time... but, I noticed that all the charging stations you charged at had no cover or protection... what happens if it is pouring down rain?... I know that is not a common occurrence in Southern California but it does happen... at least gas stations have covered areas when you refuel... would it be dangerous to plug in while it was raining, if indeed it was?

Hi Jenna, my wife and I saw this video and we were intrigued by the Rivian R1S. Including where the video was shot in Yosemite. So we decided to take a family trip there last September, and we absolutely love it. We actually saw a R1S there as well.

Great video. I think this is my favourite electric car. Lots of clever thinking has gone into is design. A bit big for the U.K. roads though but perfect for America.
That is quite big for the UK roads but I like it. If only it had a bit more range it would have the perfect SUV for me

Wow, kudos to you and your sister for being the first official video review of the R1S! I know of lot of established car reviewers and vloggers can't wait to get the call. Please clarify the position of the 2nd row seats when you were sitting in the 3rd row. The text said that the front seat was all the way back, but what about the 2nd row, was it all the way back? Can you also tell us how tall you and your sister are for scale? The actual legroom has been the most discussed and controversial aspect of both Rivian's so far and you could help us out tremendously with more information. Thanks

I love it so much!!!! I was surprised how much it was, I think like $25 here and there, not for a full charge. But I also didn’t get a membership which I think would saved

Bill, I recommend checking out Out Of Spec’s many channels. I don’t think they’ve run the R1S yet, but they’ve gone about as deep as you can on the data and road-tripping the R1T.
I wish there was more about 3rd rd row on the video. That's what sets r1s apart from others in this segment.
How did the auto steer and dynamic cruise control do?
Hey can you tell us where the back up camera is located? I was planning on adding a swing out tire carrier from RIGD and was wondering if I needed to relocate

I spotted it in your sisters video at 7:39… it’s between the V and I right under the top hatch in the back, you can see it as the hatch opens, I think the new rear view mirror cameras would be great with this!

How tall are they? Thinking about that 3rd row, if they are like 5’10 then that is a lot of space. If they are like 4’9 then maybe not that much.

You are 4 people inside…yes 33 Times smaller than You Lifeforms would fit inside the Rivian …how much more space would be there in the Rivian if it had the longer wheelbase like the rivian truck ?

Black bear 🐻 diner, they have two like 15 min away from Me in Boise, lol 😆 favorite menu item is a big bear burger I believe it's called, it has a 14 Oz burger and fries, if u don't think I eat the whole burger and fries and at least 2 drink refils , think agian, Jenna's mind blown 😀

where can you rent a Rivian?
It would be cool if they had 8K displays since it's been out for 10 years and it's a premium vehicle, and also the BMW i7 has 8K too.
The i7 definitely has a lot of cool entertainment technology, but the Rivian is more of an adventure vehicle so it makes sense!
@@JennaEzarik Not from a 2022 standpoint. We can record 8K on our smartphones, and wish the outside cameras were 8K too. Sorry, there are too many crazy people out there, and plus 8K is much better with current tech.
😃 8K is overkill and bmw have that only because of marketing - so they can say it is 8K. That is the only reason. You don’t need 8K on a phone, nor on a car, nor on TV for now.

Just curious, I've never seen anyone chose rivian over Tesla, maybe because the production is slower? Interesting how far ahead is Tesla compared to other manufacturers when it comes to production and their software. Hope other EV manufacturers learn from them and give us even more options to choose from.

The rivian R1S seems a lot more practical than the R1T for a lot of people because of it being an SUV
