I really enjoyed your league of legends content. It was very refreshing to see someone new as you just so late into season 13. Just having fun, trying out champions and exploring the game was really cool to see (with a mindset of a dota 2 and ex pro wc3 player). Keep it up Grubby!
As someone that has watched SOS bros for years I can tell you they're not faking anything. They're consistent across the board and their discussions are usually on point.
I agree but didn't find this argument convincing so I'll just add: you can tell when they are not feeling something/unconvinced/confused as to why somwthing was recommended to them and they are much less animated because they are just thinking "wtf is going on rn?" Lmao
32:54 Especially the way he said that, I don't know that he will get that chunk back. Making something like that, for that long, for a company that big, probably took some time off his life. Bro looks like Frodo waiting to sail west. A long vacation would have definitely helped though.
i admire how confortable you are with yourself to the pain where you feel confortable making such wierd sounds and faces, hope one day my confidence gets to that level, its amazing :D
Maybe grubby would also be interested in the behind the scenes of the "sad mummy" song as well as the behind the scenes of the frheljord theme (ARAM theme)
about the reactors in the end.... trust me.. I have seen every reaction for over a year on Arcane .. 50 + times after 10 I was just listening to the reactions, since i knew exactly what happened in the show just from the sound after so many times and all I can say that dude at 47:04 did his real reaction. the girlies on the couch I don't know (but probably a little over the top is my guess) why did I watch every reaction? I'm playing league since season 2 I'm the type of gamer that reads every piece of lore, I always insert myself in the character of the game I play I'm very passionate about everything revolving lol
30:40 I mean the audience probally won’t notice but I think it’s important for their work ethic. Because if they start being okay with being imperfect, they might get lazy at one point. So they basicly keep themselfs accountable to their own standards It’s like if you play dota fe in a pro game. And you missed 10 cs but are still barely able to buy you’re item. Or you miss some spells but are still just able to kill you’re enemy. You did not Play Perfect but it was just enough. So why would you try getting better right ? No if you start thinking this way, you count yourself out very fast in the big picture
As an armature editor, I just know as the entire world is loving this show, while it premieres every episode, there are editors at riot and animators at fortiche pointing at the screen and going "fuck...can we change that? I just noticed something"
When you talked about faking reactions you stopped on one of the best channels (semblance of sanity) with genuine guys and said "would he really make that face if he wasn't being filmed" lol. And on the opposite you said the 5 guys looked genuine but I hate watching their reactions because they are like "bros" who don't show any emotions most of the time. They are like "people are going to think I'm a pussy if I show a hint of sadness or any emotion at all bruh". All they can do is get hyped when there is an action scene, it gets old very quick.
Yessss I played Dark Legions game back in the day! I remember it :D It was like chess kind of but when two units met there was real time combat between them. The vampire had sort of a corkscrew attack if i remember correctly.
I saw the show well made but at view wise is not that crazy to me, it was ok. Would I re-watch it? probably not..... maybe because I never was much into legue lore. Anyway this videos are supposed to be part of marketing and the show already had an audience before they even made it.
still I think you can aprreciate how well written and animated it was, I can tell you, as a league player I had no intention of watching the show at all until a friend basically forced me to. Just because it is tied to a game with a loyal audience it doesnt mean it will just be a hit, look at the other game adaptations.
29:50 all that matters are 'some' bad apples, so yea it 'can' matter even if it's only a few who notice the small mistakes. We have had a lot of practice watching the real world, in such a way, that it makes us good at spotting things that look unatural, wrong or off. :b But yea, they themselves say it, they're purfectionists ^^ xD

Too bad no more league videos for a while :(
We all wanted him to try our favorite champ.

I really don't understand haha why does a specific part of dota community despise happiness so much xd look at the chat near the end
I mean what else can they do? Lmao. Let them mourn about their dead game.
I don't like that part either
mainly because their show ended up being dogshit, and arcane is the first to succeed

I've always been that way but you can probably condition & train it

Yeah Semblance of Sanity is one of the best reaction channels.
I think I was projecting too hard, lot of people called me out on this. Thank you.
chat being cringe about thinking things are cringe :/

Editing in afterward it's streamed... Remember that cup of starbucks in Game of Thrones? XD Or the jeans guy in Starwars Mandalorian? XD
I really enjoy your league content, keep the good work grubby

I saw that cool thing you did in DotA2 when you fed the enemy carry 10 times in a row within 10 minutes.
