cabin drone but that’s about it and it doesn’t effect driving performance that much really just for the sound and a better flow of exhaust making the car run a tad better
also if you plan on doing this for the 2.5L you’ll notice the 2.5L is a single exit exhaust compared to the 2.0L which is a dual exit if you plan on going this direction you would need exhaust hangers welded onto the other side to support the new dual exit exhaust
@Purgatory thanks for the info, I have a sti Y pipe that's why I ask, I already figured I had to get a muffled shop to weld the hangers on the opposite side but I was mainly concerned about performance and drone. Good to know your having decent experience and not seeing performance loss.
@@17.06.Copper sorry for the late response lads but this gentleman basically said what I had in mind! I got the single exit converted to dual and replaced both mufflers with megan mufflers and got this beautiful throaty sound. 0 drone whatsoever and most subaru engines aside from the turbo ones are tuned to be at peak performance so no gains other than maybe ever so slightly better gas mileage since the car can breathe better now. A lot of people will tell you if you want a subaru faster than it's N/A counterpart to just get the turbo model since they're extremely tunable. COBB doesn't even support the NA Fb25 so I cant do much other than what I've got and maybe a snorkel but I'll probably go cold air intake if I can even find one.
