    Nice seed saving method.😃
I love to save seeds. I mostly save squash, pumpkin, melons, herb, and flower seeds. It's pretty amazing to watch goodness grow from the seeds you save.😃

Great information. Another suggestion that I do, I cut off all the seed stalks and clothes pin the stalks to the side of a paper bag. After a while I will do what you are doing. The seeds that haven't dried yet will dry in time. Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend. I love the seed saving suitcase. It's just the right size to fit in a drawer, and it holds a lot of seeds per container.🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋

Good Afternoon Jim - Little late in watching today but like your technique for saving seeds. Have not heard of Chijimisai or Tatsoi before so will need to check those out. I have one of those cases for my seeds but definitely need to get another one - one for veggies and one for flowers. Hope you have a blessed weekend..

Good evening! Chijimisai grows very well here. I kept it alive all winter surrounded by straw bales and covered with plastic. Have a separate case just for flowers is a good idea. Have a great weekend!

I was able to save toy choy seeds last season. The original ferry-morse seed packet really skimped on the amount of seeds I expect to see inside a bok choy packet. I'm guessing there were about 1/6th the amount of seeds compared to the milk bok choy seed packet I got from baker creek. Toy choy is almost identical to milk choy, but side by side I can tell the difference between the two because milk choy leaves are a deeper darker shade of green. I I have now grown toy pak choy from the seeds I saved, and they grew true to type, so I was thrilled. When my chijimisai and milk choy seed packets start running low, I plan on saving seeds from them as well. Your method of separating the seeds from the chaff looks way easier than what I ended up doing, thanks for sharing!

Good morning! I find that if I let my brassica go to seed, I have to race the local wild bird populace to get the pods. I pick the pods when they are fat and green and I put them in paper bags for later processing and then do everything you just demonstrated. The birds will tease the pods open to get the seeds when they dry, but I don't mind because they help keep the cabbage moth population down. Have great weekend!

Good morning/Afternoon :) Thanks for sharing that you harvest fat and green pods. I was worried that the seeds wouldn't be mature enough. Yep, the birds are good to have around.
