The best engine is 4G63T and 4B11T all day. Stronger block which can withstand more psi. The best manual I'll take Subaru. Both AWD system are great.

Evos are superior due to the large and noticeable advancements in power as you compare the generations. The Evo X is much more superior in rally currently keeping up with the R5 Skodas and Polos. The older evos are rare and hence the high prices. The STI has a much stronger and reliable 6-speed manual transmission which can really take a beating. It’s downfall is the use of the same old Ej20 and EJ25 which has been used to its max and cant really get anymore from it. The new FA motor has potential to bring this platform back being able to hold 450+ horsepower with stock internals.

Nice review 👍. Though the Evo seems a bit older than the STI. In all fairness, I guess for head to head reviews you should pick cars from the same year. Or at least let us know the year of manufacture. Though I understand the limitations in finding cars such as the Evo and the STI for a head to head. Especially unmodified ones.

A 2016 Evo X would cost approximately 6 million shillings. They were part of the "Final Edition" Evos & hence the rise in price.
