    This hardwire will be the same steps as hardwiring the next base IQ dash cam?

    Annoyingly on the last step the fuse I took out, doesnt fit in the adaptor and the adaptor doesnt fit where the fuse came out of either. Both are only about 0.5mm too big too 🤦

    I have hardware nextbase and next base 422Gw camera. Can I connect to fuse from radio ?

      Generally the audio fuse is ok, but best to do your own checks first

      @LensOfJames my own check ? What you mean. Better some empty fuse maybe ? I have connected to audio fuse and its work

    EDIT: Ignore the following, it just plugs into the front dash cam.
    Does the rear connect the same way, or directly to the front dash cam?

      The rear camera will plug into the dash cam as usual. No need to hardwire that camera too

    Why do you have to take a fuse out and then use an empty slot?

    • @LensOfJames
      @LensOfJames  2 місяці тому +2

      You don't necessarily, it just depends on how many slots are being used in your vehicle and how many are free. I had quite a few free because I have a low spec model of my van, but top spec vans might have all the fuse slots full, so you'd have no choice but to remove a fuse. I was just trying to give as broad a picture of how to do it as possible :)
