It is known that grasshoppers are a favorite snack for trout when they are available and there are places and times where the amount is really huge, which unleashes in trout feeding frenzy that is truly a sight to behold, also triggering behavior highly selective towards these insects belonging to the order Orthoptera. As is usually treated insect good size is important to maintain an acceptable realism in imitations, something that often forces us to sacrifice some buoyancy, except models foam, with which it is difficult to get thin and stylized silhouettes, something frequent in these insects. Also in many cases it demands a complexity in construction for many is not accessible. In this model it is present a design in which it is possible to achieve high realism without being very complicated construction and providing extra buoyancy due to the air bubble is inside the chest.
Absolutely incredible work 👌

The music is well selected, sounds like Eddie Higgins. The fly is serious. All is good.
Increíble maestro.
some really nice tying there Ruben, wish you did a hellgrammite, the ones I've seen so far look more like woolly buggers than hellgrammites, keep up the good work
Canal Trens de Pesca - Brasil - SP - Belo trabalho amigo, parabéns!
I NEED A DOZEN OF THOSE
grandes moscas que buscan. keep up the great work.
Thanks A LOT my friend. Kind regards!
You certainly are a creative tier. I would never have thought of half of the materials you use to tie this fly. I wonder if you had left the tube open on both ends if it would make a unique sound that would draw the fish to it? Not sure but I would love to know. Thanks so much for sharing your special talent with us. All the best and God bless you and your family. Sean
Maybe, but under the water the fish will still eat a terrestrial if it is there. I just thought it would make great sound if it sunk. All the best. Sean
Ive never seen anything that amazing
Thanks a lot buddy!
