I appreciate your review. I was worried I would get a biased and sponsored perspective but you discussed valid pros and cons that a endorsed influencer wouldn’t dare. Thanks!
Breeo is the best in my humble opinion. Not just because it’s made in the USA. Mainly because of the longevity of it and it’s versatility with cooking.
honey this is for camping. you can use it at home in your backyard, but the idea is that you can bring this with you as a multipurpose tool for keeping warm and fixing food while outdoors away from home.
@@AtHomeInTheFuture not sure what solo stove does better based on the video here. I have used a Weber grill. It can light a contained fire and cook just like the solo stove, has a temp gauge and grill grade that folds up for addition of coals (if you buy the option with it) also a tie, assembles easily - tie. Weber has wheels and is easy to move around like a stroller. And I’m not even sure if smokeless is good in this case because Smokey flavor is the reason why one would use a charcoal grill over a gas grill. Oh and the lid rest hook is the same. The ash catcher in Weber is much simpler, you just take out the tray and dump and clip it back on to the bottom. What are the advantages of solo stove over Weber? None of the attributes explained in the video from what I could tell.
Have you been able to slow cook, such as when making ribs, on this grill? Also, when you say perfect cooking temperature, what that be? Thank you for the solid review. Very well done
Because of the high airflow design by nature, I personally think it’s best suited to burgers, chicken, steak, etc. I haven’t tried to smoke with mine, but I also have a Traeger I use on that end of the spectrum. Glad you enjoyed the review!
I like to sous vide my brined chicken, when it's done, put on ice, toss it in the freezer. The day of the event party gathering, i set the smoker up for 200 °F, then smoke the chicken for two hours with apple or cherry wood. I then finish it in a high indirect heat charcoal grill to crisp it up and do any final basting. This looks like a likely grill to do burgers and could also do indirect high heat finishing for smoked chicken ECT. I wish it had different legs to bring it up higher. It's pricy but being stainless it is going to last the long haul. I can't find it on their website.
You could set a smaller fire to have a lower smoking temp. Or do the snake method for smoking. I don't have one but seems like that would work. Or does it not work that way?
Buy a Weber people. Over 50 years in grilling history. These units will end up in land fills. This “grill” is no way any way worth the money. Facebook marketplace…free Weber’s everyday.
Can you burn yard or garden waste? Like fresh and old vines and vegetable plants that are done for the season? Thanks for making the video. Have a Great Day
I love the video and the way you explained, I love stainless steel, yes it’s pricey, but if you take care of it’s worth it , it looks like the cooking is faster , and it’s nice to gather family and have a nice meal.
Over engineered hum….I have this big big grin on my face because that just tells me couple of them took this home and that is why it’s over engineered , but I like that 😆 They probably should knock about $100 off ! It would definitely outsell the rest Absolutely love that stand
"It's always the perfect grilling temp but if you want a different temperature you're out of luck" wtf does this even mean. Are you trying to say it's always a super hot grill?
Good feedback. I was aiming for features and use case of this grill vs the others I’ve owned. It has a very specific lane I think: super easy to use, maintain, and get to the perfect grilling temp (and little else).
If you’re okay cooking at like 1000 degrees maybe, haha. In all seriousness, check out my solo stove vs Breeo comparison. Breeo has a grill attachment which I found really hard to cook well on. The food was either cold from being too far away or completely scorched from being too close. You can cook on them, but it’s definitely not great, at least in my experience.

I saw it at TJ Maxx in CT for $149 and thought that was good and then I found it on clearance at BJ's for $99.98!!!
Wow! I think they’re discontinued now, but that’s a still. I use mine every week :-)
Found one in BJS for $65, but i have all sizes of grill, so passed. smh
Superb review. Pro's and Con's are always needed, not some fluff. Thanks -
So glad it was helpful
if you use the charcoal chimney it is ready to cook on in 10 minutes
Well worth every penny spent. Great video and break down..
Breeo is the best in my humble opinion. Not just because it’s made in the USA. Mainly because of the longevity of it and it’s versatility with cooking.
Amazing, people will pay that much, when a weber which does the same thing has been around 50 years and can usually be found for free.

My verdict: Weber is cheaper and better
Depends on what you’re looking for

great video quality... just wanted to get that one in there... continuing to watch.

They discontinued this and I found a bundle for $199. Worth it for that price? I'm not interested in smoking

Great review. I’ll stick with the Weber.
$575?! And I can’t adjust the intake/temperatures? I’ll pass. Thanks for the vid!
It has a very specific use case for sure

nice review, but can you do a review of pellet grills to include the Grilla grill chimp or Sliverback with Alpha smoke PID controller?
I wish the solo grill was higher up from the ground. It sits way too low.
Very true 👍 about the pellet grills
It is worth it my end

I don’t know if that’s advised or not, but it chews through wood hot and fast
probably not for cooking.
Can you use it as a fire pit? Is it smokeless as a fire pit? Thanks
Not really designed to be used as a fire pit - I think the ash would be an issue pretty quick
After grilling do you leave lid on or off to cool down quickly? Nice video!
Thanks! I leave it off if I want it to go out quick

Which model of solo stove was that as i cant find the grill version
The Solo Stove Grill :-)
@@AtHomeInTheFuture Dude i contacted them and they said you had to buy all that grilling gear separate
Was this a short lived product for them, not listed on their site, or a straight to Amazon product?
Whoa, weird. It was still in their product line as of a month ago - maybe they discontinued it?!
I found it on their site today. I saw it at TJ Maxx in CT for $149 and thought that was good and then I found it in clearance at BJ's for $99.98!!!

So I could basically use my bonfire to grill. Just have to add a grate on it.

@@AtHomeInTheFuture you can use the bonfire to grill, but you need a shallow fire that's mostly embers.
How about the height? It looks awfully short
I just filmed it with the shorter base; came with a tall base too

A very small charcoal fire pit, yes ;-)

NO way.
