Mexico nearly became a German Ally. My Grandmother's brother was a bomber pilot in the Pacific Theatre. He is a HOPI Native American. Hopis we're also Code Talkers, and do were other Native American Tribes, not just the Navajo. The Spanish call them Navajo aka "thieving coyotes". Good Job but I have to disagree with you on the 30000 Japanese put out of action. The US Army ground forces including my uncle a member of the 1st Cavalry division fought at Manila in 45 and it was the ground forces that contained the Japanese in northern Luzon, not the squadron. My dad was a veteran of Okinawa too. My wife who is Mexican born says in Mexico they claim that without this squadron the USA would not have won the war! which is so laughable, even she laughs at this! But I did recently see a real 201 squadron patch for sale at a militaria show for 2k
When I found that number I took it to mean part of a joint contribution. I think it was almost 280,000 Japanese troops that fought in Luzon and when you add the squadrons strikes in Taiwan it's not an unreasonable number. Sometimes if you just hit a bridge or shipping you can "put out of action" thousands.

Good Job but I have to disagree with you on the 30000 Japanese put out of action. The US Army ground forces including my uncle a member of the 1st Cavalry division fought at Manila in 45 and it was the ground forces that contained the Japanese in northern Luzon, not the squadron. My dad was a veteran of Okinawa too. My wife who is Mexican born says in Mexico they claim that without this squadron the USA would not have won the war! which is so laughable, even she laughs at this! But I did recently see a real 201 squadron patch for sale at a militaria show for 2k
When I found that number I took it to mean part of a joint contribution. I think it was almost 280,000 Japanese troops that fought in Luzon and when you add the squadrons strikes in Taiwan it's not an unreasonable number. Sometimes if you just hit a bridge or shipping you can "put out of action" thousands.
