    Good video. I have the Public Defender and the Public Defender Polymer. I found in 45 Colt the Buffalo Bore or Underwood hard cast wadcutter to be a great round! Great penetration and just hits like a truck. The only shot shell round I will use is Federal 000 Buck (not the #4!). I have tested it against many of the other buckshot loads and there is no comparison. Keep up the good work.

    Those Deer slugs are powerful especially out of a 26 inch barrel 410 Shotgun with the longer barrel the FPS is a little higher at around 2100 FPS but I really like that Judge you're shooting nice gun.

      Thanks and yeah .410 slugs from long guns are as powerful as a .44 magnum.

    The thing I like best about your gun vids is that I get to see guns being used that I might like to own (or just gotta have). The most fun I've had shooting over the years (pre-video days) was always with good company, no fun if ya can't brag about a shot to someone. The flip side is guns like these "monsters". I guess for a boat and "shark repellent", a night stand, maybe even camping. But these are difficult to master and control for a lotta folks. Big, bulky and heavy, not particularly suitable to concealed carry. Would love to try these though, check'em out, but not on my Gotta Have list. Nice video, as always and really far out shockwave.

      I rented one way back when they first came out and fell in love with it immediately and had to have one. I really want to get the raging judge magnum that also shoots 454 casull, and will one day. Hard to justify the $1000 for one right now.

    Thanks for the video. That looks like a fun plinker. HA! HA!! And i had to order a new barrel for my TX-22. I will keep a lookout for more Judge vidz.

      It was way more fun to shoot than I thought it would be. A friend let me borrow it and I really didn't want to give it back lol. I'll post the 6" one in a couple days and I plan to take both out again this weekend and do some long range shooting and get them both chronoed without shooting it this time lol. Probably a pattern video also.

    My local has one but the lack of 410 and 45 colt keeping me from pulling the trigger on it sadly.

      @BuckeyeBallistics  2 роки тому

      This is true. And when you do find any, it's grossly overpriced...

      @@BuckeyeBallistics I'm so tired of this bs prices doubled plus some. I'm having to choose guns based or what ammo I can find or not it's getting ridiculous

    Thanks for the video...I was able to get the 6" barrel .410 Judge...haven't been able to use it much yet because it seems no one is selling .410 ammo o or 45LC!? What is that all about???????

    • @BuckeyeBallistics

      Where have you been? Massive ammo shortages and price gouging due to the riots, current presidency, and the pandemic. You can find whatever you want any day on Gunbroker, but you'll pay out the arse for it. Also check Ammoseek...

      @@BuckeyeBallistics The 45LC really didn't surprise me but the .410 absence did big time...I have a 12 gauge and have never had trouble finding 12 gauge shells - even now when I go looking for .410 all I see is 12 gauge (with the odd occasional 20 gauge) - "that's" the part that doesn't make sense to me...why 12 gauge is abundant and common, yet .410 is "missing"!?

      Well just like 9mm and .223/5.56- the most popular calibers are what you're going to find because that is where the demand is. The factories are built around producing the popular calibers in massive amounts daily because that is what is demanded by the public, while all other calibers are made in much smaller quantities on the side. They've ramped up production on the highly demanded calibers to meet demand, even moved manpower to produce these at this rate of production; so the other calibers have suffered. I wouldn't expect to see much .410 on the shelves until next year, sad to say...

    What size shells will the Public Defender take? 2 1/2, 3 inch, etc.?

    Has anyone tried to shoot 45LC 265gr on the Judge PD? I've been told yes and no, but no one have actually tried.

      As long as it's not a +p round it should be fine, but I'm assuming it's a hot load.

    You should invest in a microphone so people can hear what you are saying.

    Very annoying when someone is shooting in the background...

    • @BuckeyeBallistics
      @BuckeyeBallistics  3 роки тому +2

      Ok sure, so I'll just drive 2 hours round trip like I always do, then just wait all day until everyone is done shooting and then maybe I'll get 10 minutes of footage until we get kicked out because it's dark. I'm sorry I'm not rich like the big youtubers who live on 1000 acres of their own land and have .50bmg rifles and machine guns because they were rich before they even started youtube. Pretty easy when you already have everything and a ton of cash...

    This guy's trigger finger and lack of firearm discipline, makes me cringe! Am I alone with this thought? Horrible to do anywhere. Not educational at all with safety included. It made my hands sweat
