These are all the same stability exercises my physical therapist gave me to help recover from a spinal injury that left me virtually bedridden for 4 months! They're going very well for me & my sad wobbly spine
All this focus on the lower abs and posture will be just as nice for my bellydance. Thanks, ROH.

Great, great video ROH! I'm really looking forward to this new series! As a ballet student i had enormous troubles in keeping my hips squad and stable. Great work!
Thanks for the video ! Helps us with warm-up before Barre and technique for Ballet class. Thanks for sharing ! Looking forward to more videos...
As a physiotherapist, I find these videos really useful, engaging, with some great tips as well. Thank you
I really like the way Tara works her body. She is very thoughtful.👏👏👏👏
I'm delighted! I looking forward to next video.
Thanks a lot! 😍👏👏👏
Thank you so much for making a beginner's video that is doable, short, not intimidating but strongly focused & clear on the all-important basics. I wish we were taught this way when I took ballet classes as a teenager. That was ages ago -- I'm 50+ now, but it's a joy to do these workouts. They make me feel ageless!!
Glad you like the series, Joy!
Tara makes a wonderful teacher! Love it, ROH. Thanks a lot.
also, it would be nice having the name of the music/performer playing... tks again.
Thank you Christine! xx
I definitely need posture and balance exercises!

Fabulous video! So appreciate it. Love the rotation in the air to help students connect with turning out at the hip / top of leg. Definitely using this :D
Thank you for the thorough description of the exercises. Truly appreciate the exercises as a silver swan.
great tutorial, looking forward to next episode Thank you so very much
Love it! Though us more advanced students would love a ballet barre from Tara! Possibly a good audition video barre, especially since we all want to get into your summer intensive! :)!
wrong girl! Lol, you mean Clarissa. She actually quit ballet sadly she still posts on her non ballet channel. She changed. :(
Thanks for your feedback! This is a pilot series, so comments are very useful for us in helping shape any future series
Great video. Looking forward to many more coming. :)
¡Wonderful! Thanks, I hope to see more very soon. 😊
What a great idea!!!
Excellent start to the series ROH. Only recently have I discovered how very important engaging those lower abs are. Very little lower back pain now- even with taking 3 classes a week. Got great instruction on some of the same posture work at Sung King Dance ballet camp this summer.
looking forward to the next ones ;)

Love it but rotating an internal imaginary sphere towards your spine needs to unpacked: how does one rotate and internal imaginary sphere?
Hi and thank you for your comment/question. Lower abs can be a tricky one to activate and can sometimes lead to simply sucking in (and not breathing!). I find this visualisation can help to achieve the desired results of effectively engaging the lower abs. Tara
agreed. i'm really struggling with this bit too and i'm usually really good with visualising conceptual things! the way i saw it was imagining a glass ball on my belly and pulling in the bit just under my diaphram to tip it towards my face. no idea if that's the right thing to do but that's all i got.
When is the next one ???
The second episode will be up tomorrow (Thursday October 12th, 2017). Please let us know what you think! Tara 💕
