There's several live versions of this song, watching a few of them really shows how much is made up as they played and how seamlessly they followed each other.
Totally agree. I saw Zep live four times in England between 71 and 79. Jimmy was amazing every time, even when he clearly had " health issues"! I also bumped into him outside his house in London about 3 years ago. Very polite dignified man.
Every Zeppelin concert was a unique event. I have never seen this video and it was a whole new experience for me, and I have listened to them for decades. The miracle of youtube! God bless all, merry Christmas!
Wow ladies, that was the longest reaction video ever! You both did really well keeping going for 32 minutes!! That was a concert in May 1975, in London. I know because I was there( I'm that old). The violin bow sequence is a Jimmy Page trademark since 1968/69 and he used it during the recording of this song in the studio in late 1968. This version is a marathon and congratulations again for seeing it through. Try " Since I've Been Loving You" live video from 1973, by Led Zep. You won't be disappointed, I promise( trust an older guy who has seen this band live 4 times ). Stay safe and thank you once again. Best wishes from England.
I actually saw Jimmy Page in 1966 at the Rochester War Memorial in Rochester, New York, when he was the sole guitarist in the Yardbirds. I was really surprised when Page pulled out a bow to make some of the eeriest sounds I'd ever heard from a guitar.
This is one of those performances where you cana actually feel and see that page guitar rhythms have almost became inter-dimensional to keep up with bonzo's drumming techniques.
the entire performance encapsulates the title of the song and of the Time Period this was written and performed in. context is everything. Remember it was a live show. 2.5hrs. This sat 2/3rds way through. the entire performance was incredible can tell you. All Led Zep live performances were out of this world. But those in London for me ❤️
Is there a song where the music is a more accurate sonic metaphor for the meaning in the lyrics? And so much of this performance had large sections of improv. I love watching you two react to anyone super-free, like everyone in this band, or Freddie Mercury in Queen.
This is awesome indeed, but I don't think it's quite at their best. The version from Madison Square Garden in '73 is far better, and just about anything live from '71 or '72 blows anything from '73 or '75 away. Just my opinion, anyway...
Led Zeppelin was one of the reasons why I started playing guitar. This is an especially long version of "Dazed and Confused" and they did a lot of things in this version that I haven't heard them do before. I've heard recordings of many of their concerts, and they played them differently each time. So many bands just play songs as they played them on their CDs, but the guys in Zep were so good and so confident that they experimented every time they were on stage. Deep Purple was every bit as good at that time, and they also played it differently every night. I think you'll both love their live album "Made in Japan." It's one of the most powerful rock albums ever made, and I think you can find it on UA-cam. Namaste!
Thank you Nepal Girls. The two of you do my 60 year old heart so much good whenever I see and hear your reactions to classic rock. Keep up the great work.
This looks to me like another one of those on stage personality battles between Page and Plant, or maybe that was just the way it was meant to be, who knows. All I know in terms of musical brilliance this band was never before and probably never will again be matched. The are quite literally on another level. Thanks for the vid loved it. Whoever's it idea was to put these gracious ladies in front of a Led Zeppelin video and get them to react to it should quite frankly question themselves.
Thanks for putting this up, girls. I've seen the other version (Madison Square Garden) several times and this was a nice change of pace. Keep rocking, girls.
Great memories here. I saw them in the 77 tour along with more than 77,000 others. When they played this nobody wanted it to end. It's like one long Page solo from start to finish. Great choice ladies!
Was going to go in 77...only chance...got busted smoking weed by dad. Showed up at my friend's house at midnight...lightly tapped on the door, we opened it and there he stood in menacing and intimidating silence. Party over. Ultimate buzzkill. Friend's mom had narced us out lol 10th grade
Brilliant ladies! I've been enjoying your reactions for months now. I spend just about every evening watching youtube reactors and, like Led Zeppelin, you never disappoint! You have certainly covered some uncommon gems on this channel with the help of your patreons. I think you would enjoy this live performance from 1969 ua-cam.com/video/wEPog_WdPE4/v-deo.html The audience was typical of the day, very reserved, and you wonder if they understood what they were witnessing. This was 1969 for goodness sake! The drummer, John Bonham and Robert Plant the singer were just 20 years old, Jimmy Page lead guitar is 25 and John Paul Jones on base is 24. Already each one is a master of his art.
The 'Denis' he refers to is the UK's Chancellor of the Exchequer (or finance minister) who had imposed a 95% tax on unearned income under Britain's socialist government of the day - forcing Led Zeppelin into practical tax exile. They had a select number of dates at London's Earls Court venue to perform for their native British audience, before being hit with a large bill. It's the dark side of the Zeppelin story, that they wouldn't stick around to pay their dues. The positive is that they produced music like this - even if it is basically a cover version.
Ladies there is a big discussion still to this day about who is the greatest drummer who ever lived. Everyone has an opinion but there are three in my opinion neither is better than the other two. They all were the greatest with the band they were with so the greatest is by true opinion. The three in no order Keith Moon John Bonham Neil Peart. That being said, I have a favorite. And it was this song that John Bonham became my all time favorite
So true Patrick. I felt Page and Plant were improvising when improvising. Continuity not as good as 1973 and earlier. Lots of false starts within the song. Maybe Page too much on it by this phase of their career. Cheers girls
Now you know Jimmy Page is one of the greatest guitarists in rock. Now you have to check out why they say John Bonham is the greatest drummer of all time check out a live version of "Moby Dick".
This would've been great;when I wore ''Younger man's clothes". Now;it's a bit long & overwrought;not to mention, they took it to outer space...but failed to come back. Changing things up can work;but this experiment didn't 4me.
GIRLS, YOU'RE THE 2 BEAUTIFUL SISTERS I EVER SAW! YOU'RE REACTING, SO GOOD AT THE SAME KIND OF MUSIC I LIKE! IT'S SO COOL, WHEN I SEE YOU, MAKING AIR DRUMS, OR AIR GUITAR, MEANING, MOVING YOUR FINGERS, LIKE IF YOU WERE PLAYING YOURSELF! 😂😂😂😂😂TOO CUTE! YOU'RE TOTALLY INVOLVE! AND, THAT'S WHY SO MUCH PEOPLES ARE LIKING YOU! PERSONALLY, I'M FRENCH, YOU KNOW, THE LATINE, FRE'CH GUYS, ARE HOT😂✌️🤪, SO I WANTED TO ASK YOU TO MARRY ME! BOTH OF YOU! BUT, AS IT'S IMPOSSIBLE AND NOT LEGAL, I WOULD LIKE TO MARRY, THE YOUNGER SISTER, SHE'S TOO MUCH BEAUTIFUL, AND, SHE'S ALWAYS, MAKING LIKE SHE'S PLAYING THE GUITAR! 😂😂😂😂😂AS I'M A GUITARIST TOO, PLEASE, WOULD YOU MARRY ME!🎸🎸🎸🎸🤪✌️😂👍KISSES FROM FRANCE, BEAUTIFUL SISTERS🇫🇷
I was disappointed in this version of Dazed. Jimmy seemed like he was thinking about what to play next. It did not have the same power as the SRTS version! And Plant's singing was just filled with noises more than the singing! But I am still a huge Zep fan and always will be! Hell I grew up with their music!
This performance wasn’t as good as the one in MSG in 1973 that performance was more spontaneous…this one had more quiet gaps..it seem that the band wasn’t in sync with each other…..probably this was at the end of a long tour …..it was still over thirty minutes long…..probably too long for this night….
Most reactions are with the 1973 tour…this video has Plante joking around with his band mates in the beginning….this was probably in their next tour in 1975…the last one with drummer John Bonham…
There's several live versions of this song, watching a few of them really shows how much is made up as they played and how seamlessly they followed each other.
Jimmy Page...greatest guitarist on the planet!! This live in 1973 at MSG...pure magic!
Same tour, not the same as SRTS!
Totally agree. I saw Zep live four times in England between 71 and 79. Jimmy was amazing every time, even when he clearly had " health issues"! I also bumped into him outside his house in London about 3 years ago. Very polite dignified man.
@@greggpangle3821 This is Earl's Court 1975.
All of you are wrong, this is Earls Court 1975.
TSRTS is a better performance from Page.
Every Zeppelin concert was a unique event. I have never seen this video and it was a whole new experience for me, and I have listened to them for decades. The miracle of youtube! God bless all, merry Christmas!
There are those who witnessed Led Zeppelin at their best on stage and they put it on the same level as that of an religious experience.

Ive seen Zepp live 4 times, but he used a cello bow not a violin.
This is one of those performances where you cana
actually feel and see that page guitar rhythms have almost became inter-dimensional to keep up with bonzo's drumming techniques.
jazz blues rock tripping just jamming. this is beyond compare. It’s like watching Mozart perform ( if that was possible). greatness comes rarely.
the entire performance encapsulates the title of the song and of the Time Period this was written and performed in. context is everything.

Awesome! Wish you had done the performance from Madison Square Garden though.
You two always have the best old school Zeppelin videos. Thank you
LED ZEPPELIN at their best. The gods of rock!💥💥💥💥
This is awesome indeed, but I don't think it's quite at their best. The version from Madison Square Garden in '73 is far better, and just about anything live from '71 or '72 blows anything from '73 or '75 away. Just my opinion, anyway...
You girls are so beautiful! I love your videos!
Thank you so much!!
Namaste girls! Led Zeppelin. Maybe the greatest band in 70's..
Maybe?
It doesn't get much better than this! 🔥
Indeed, it's mind blowing
Actually the 1973 MSG version is alot better
Well... I think less, is more.
This is a bit overcooked
Melhor banda do mundo. Obrigado
Led zeppelin.
No argument from me.
Always such a powerful classic.
Enjoyed the reaction! 😊
Thanks

I'm amazed y'all did this. Legendary masters.
Forever Rockstars. Can't be reproduced today.
Wow! I’ve never heard that one before!

They don’t play Dazed in 1977. Were you at the Pontiac Silverdome show?
@@ctrlshiftqq9846 my mistake. My seats were on right of stage (looking at stage from floor).

@@JoeandAngie Oh yes, I know the feeling. That was bad timing for sure!
Was it pontiac? Oh also they didn't do dazed in 77. I'm wondering if it's noise solo thay you're referring

Led zeppelin una de las mejores bandas de rock!!!!
Ahhhhhhhhh Led Zeppelin ! Not a bad tune ever....Da GOATS!!!!! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

what a great live performance you Ladys picked. :)
You girls like good old Rock'n Roll ! Heard Nazareth's Not Faking It? Lets Dance ladies!!!
Thanks for reacting :)
Thanks for watching
What was the reference Plant made to Dennis at the start ? I guess it was a politician but the only one I can think of was Denis Healey.
Way to throw in the Joni Mitchell, very cool.
You two play some mean lean air guitar 🎸💕
Nom Nom. Delicious 🤤 the truest definition of a "supergroup"
Crazyyyyyyyyyy!!!!
Opps...thought this was the 1973 video performance at Madison Square Garden.....It's a lot better.
Page is perfect for Holloween soundtrack…or any horror films from recent times…..his music would blend in with any horror scenes…..
Folks like what they like , but live Zep and Pink Floyd performances are the best. Gotta love Iron Maiden live also.
Can someone please get page Jones and plant in a studio now. Great creator today.
you guys are too cute !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love your videos !!!!!!!!!!!!

Page is otherworldly
Indeed!
RIP Stevie Ray... but in the guitar god wars Jimmy wins
Or Rory?
Sei bellissima !!
Sublime 💛
R. Plant\s voice was not at his usual intensity and power. The effects of long tours and, well, you know...
Whole lotta Zep.🤘🏽
The performance from 73 was much better. They must be high as a kite here
So true Patrick.

your faces say it all
Jimi page un virtuoso en la guitarra
Bonham❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏🙏
Jimmy Page in God mode
They stopped playing Dazed and Confused in their 1978 tour…..they had enough of this song…and they had much more material in their 1978 tour…
They din't tour in 1978
I earnestly think blues reach its pinnacle with LZ 1-4
Now you know Jimmy Page is one of the greatest guitarists in rock. Now you have to check out why they say John Bonham is the greatest drummer of all time check out a live version of "Moby Dick".

The MSM 1973 'The Song Remains The Same' movie version of 'Dazed And Confused' is much better than this performance.
MSG 73 is, IMO, much better.
The cameras sullied this performance....interfered with the spontaneity...
I was disappointed in this version of Dazed.
Jimmy seemed like he was thinking about what to play next.
It did not have the same power as the
SRTS version!
And Plant's singing was just filled with noises more than the singing!
But I am still a huge Zep fan and always will be!

Girls this is not the best dazed and confused live performance. Check out their MSG 1973 performance
The msg 1973 is far better please react to that one
compare this version to when they first started: ua-cam.com/video/NkLecydve6A/v-deo.html

question: are there any Hindu lesbians?
Lousy performance by zep standards ... But still better then just about everything out there ...

People think that jimmy page only used the bow in dazed and confused not true 3 other zeppelin songs I believe
