Awesome video! My wife and kids and I did that trip In spring 2020. Visited Wall Drug, Badlands, Custer state park, and the Black Hills (including Rushmore). It was one of the most incredible trips we've ever done.
Great video! Really enjoyable. I did that trip twice in the midst of COVID. Beautiful country! We did get snowed on pretty good over Labor Day weekend believe it or not. Cathedral Spires was a great hike.
I was really getting into the video when it was gone. Excellent video actually! What's in South Dakota you ask gold! When you was going through those towns at least the statues were still there that I really noticed they didn't tear them down. I have been to the sign at the beginning there in the Badlands but the guy I was with only wanted to go right there and he just was ready to go and so did I have to go. That hot air ballooning I've always wanted to do I've never got the chance to do it. I came real close to getting my flying license in an airplane but I never got to where I could go up in a hot air balloon. Man old man I know you loved it. Thanks for the video have a great day and stay safe and keep your powder dry!
The badlands are one of those places I've always wanted to visit, when I actually did, it did not disappoint. One of the coolest places in America. So friggin bizarre..
I love your video on South Dakota, I live in Huron South Dakota(4hours away). I’m just getting into backpacking and I want to hike the trails in rapid with my daughter who wants to get into it as well.
Perfect timing... we will be in The Badlands in a week...
I love west river South Dakota and happy to call it my home !
Badlands is a top 5 national park for me. Ome of the most underrated undervisited parks. Really easy permit system and plenty of solitude.
Great format! Love these types of videos. Badlands is on the bucket list
I gotta check some of those places out! So cool
Such a fantastic video. Was (pleasantly) surprised with our surprise guest too!
Cheers
Great video ... It makes me want to visit the Badlands & Custer State Park ...
God’s country, for sure. I used to live in northeastern Wyoming just across the border from SD. Loved it.
Very cool…best part, the “Dan & Eric” moment in the balloon! Thanks for sharing.😊

@@AlanEoff yes we do. We go to Custer State Park every year. Amazing hiking. Check out the Black elk peak hike

Did SD sponsor you or something lol? Seems like a very underrated place, might have to plan a trip
South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho are all beautiful places that have the least amount of people!
