Just finished hiking this for the last week. For those thinking of hiking this trail, please note, since it is not mentioned in this video (but is mentioned on the longer version), the spires they show / Little Devils Tower is not on the Centennial Trail proper. It is about a 6 or so mile detour into the Norbeck Wildlife Preserve. Also, there are plenty of maps and apps available, there is no route finding needed as mentioned here. There are some parts where you may need to refer to your map/app, but it's pretty straightforward with plenty of signage, trail maintenance does a good job. Simply want to put this out there in case anyone was putting this trail on their radar as there are not a lot videos on the CT and this one pops up as a top result.
@@erikbecerrajr3300 It took us 8 days! But we took our time, stopped at a restaurant /bar one night. I'm sure some could do it faster but it felt like a good pace. To be honest, I wish we had a few extra days, it felt a bit rushed at times.
Where did you guys finish? I live 5 minutes from the northern part of the Centennial Trail and that is not the northern end of the trail? Trial would actually goto Bear Butte with an incredible summit hike with amazing view of the prairie.
Like others have commented ... I've added the Centennial Trail to my bucket list ... Curious how many days it took you & Dan to do the Centennial Trail?
