You nailed it . Metallica speaks to your heart . Their lyrics are always crisp and meaningful . You don't sustain for almost 40 years if you are not great . Great and truthful reaction . Take it from a 60 year old who has been rocking to them for 37 years .
They did this song recently on the Howard Stern show and I swear it was like 30 years hadn't gone by. Kirk Hammett played that solo like he was 20 and not pushing 60!!! Love Metallica!
You nailed it, Metallica is music that you can feel.. I remember when I first truly sat down to listen to them with Ride the Lightning and I was blown away with Fire, Lightning, and had already heard Bells, but when I heard Fade to Black I knew it changed my life. The lyrics speak so loudly but the music itself speaks the same message.
I seen this live in 1992... I felt it my brother I felt it indeed!!!! I was so overwhelmed it moved me to tears... These guy's will catch you off your guard... Make the toughest man cry they will... Music soothe the savage beast my friend....
@@TranceSFX Yes, but there is beauty in simplicity. Not saying For whom the bell tolls is simple, but it’s not to over the top. The song is literally perfect lol
This is One of My Favourite song from Metallica Rock Metal.. Like Nothing Else Matters, The Unforgiven, One, Eye of the Beholder, Master of Puppets, Fade to Black and so on...
My favorite part of reaction videos... is watching someone reach that point of discovery. Don't let other's tell you what Metallica song is better. Every canvas is just canvas until you add the paint, then it becomes art. If you hear this song and it speaks to you. It becomes the best song. don't let others sway you from that feeling... Just keep discovering, and thank you for your reaction
Best Metallica song ever? no..you were just in the mood my friend! Other songs by them will hit you as the best depending on your mood. Thats one of the things that makes Metallica great. SOOO many good songs.
I've watched alot of reaction channels that act like they enjoy the music, and even say they do, but I feel you're more genuine in saying you like it. 💯🤘
Yea, man. Check out my wifes videos we both enjoy Metallica but shes loving her journey more than me.Shes very good at interpreting their songs. They are the best though!
Your feeling the badassness that us diehard fans felt 20 some odd years ago. Im glad to see you love it like I did back then. And ill forgive you for being a megadeth fan lol....
Four Horsemen........ Welcome home Sanatorium.............. To live is to Die......... Call of Ktulu............. Orion....................... Unforgiven 1,2,3...... No leaf clover............ Awesome reaction bro. This song is off of their 1991 black album, which brought a modern metal production sound to the masses. Entered the charts at #1 and stayed there for four weeks. Sold countless millions. It was hugely influential.
This is one of about 3 or 4 bands that I can listen to and think, "this song is one of their 10 best" and that means it's an all-time favorite. So many great songs by Metallica, but this has been one of my absolute favorites since I first heard it.
Dude, I don't hate you for it! It's nothing compared to the classics, Fade to Black or Master of Puppets, but this song grabs you in a way that those classics didn't. One of my favorites to blast in my ear while riding my Harley down an old country road in the middle of nowhere. In fact, it's the absolute best for that moment. Screw driving the truck ... Riding the Harley!!!!
Hard for me to say this is their best, but it is very good. Anyone else could have the same speed, rhythm, transitions, etc. - but it's the little details: from the intro to the punctuating drum crashes, to little guitar flairs accenting the lyrics. Genius musicianship.
Love this song & your response to it. I had been a trucker for 20yrs and my truck was my house. No rent to pay or big bills. I just saved my money & got to see most of the country. No ties, totally free.
Speaks to me differently than for most but that is part of the beauty of the song. As an army veteran it speaks to me of a soldier's constant time away from a real home. Away from everything that ties you to one location. The one thing you do have is pride. Pride in the uniform, pride in your mental and physical fortitude, and pride in doing something others cannot or will not do. The speaking your mind also hits hard because as somebody who wore the uniform I defended the right of citizens to speak their minds. In any case loved the reaction. Loved the sing premilitary and so much more after.
Yes, yes yes bro! I love your interpretation. And you are right music does speak to everyone different but like you said this song gives you a sense of pride.
My fav Metallica song is The Call Of Ktulu ( written by Dave Mustaine originally when he was in Metallica ) awesome song! And my sec fav one is To Live Is To Die ( best Metallica solos are in this Song )
Due to moving a lot growing up I never had a house that I could ever go back to and call home, but even from the time I first learned to walk, I was always fiercely independent, I grew up never tied to any place, wherever I go that's always been home I don't have a place that I feel like I have to go back to, I haven't put any roots down anywhere yet and I feel like that day might never come.
I love that song! I actually reacted to the version with lady gaga at the grammys. And yes you are correct that was a perfect mix of old and new thrash metal. One of my favorite songs and performances.
The Adventures of TNT oh, man, I appreciate the live version with Gaga but the studio version is sooooo much better and not shortened for the tv performance.
Check out songs from Metallica's 2016 album Hard Wired to Self Destruct. Spit Out The Bone, Atlas Rise, Halo On Fire, ManUNkind, Dream No More, Moth Into Flame, Just to name a few, The old guys still deliver.
@@chrispbacon3084 First of all, he doesn't "need" a video to be 10 minutes long for youtube. Having the video be 10 minutes or longer just allows him to add a second advertisement. Also, at no point did I suggest he do a reaction video to Hardwired anyway. I simply stated that I thought it was another good song from that album. He can watch it freely in his own time and I sincerely hope he isn't limiting himself only to music that would allow him to record a 10 minute or longer video for youtube. Finally, I probably watch 30 or 40 song reaction videos per month on youtube, and there are plenty of channels that react to 3 or 4 minutes songs and end up with videos longer than 10 minutes. All without any filler content and all without pausing the song every 20 seconds. And I'm sure The Adventures of TNT, being the articulate man that he is, is more than capable of doing so himself were he to choose to react to shorter songs.
The Mexico City 1993 live version is perfect. Off of live shit binge and purge double CD. Bleeding me is one that's real good you will love it. It's one of my favorites by them I've been listening to Metallica since 86 and they still make great music.
I really like Wherever I May Roam, but this song is nowhere near : Damage Inc., Dyers Eve, Blackened, Battery, Disposable Heroes, Ride The Lightning, etc. Out of the black album it's my favorite along with Through The Never, Of Wolf And Man,My Friend Of Misery and The God That Failed. Post Black Album era : The Outlaw Torn, Bleeding Me and My Apocalypse could tie it, IMO.
Jean-Pierre Gouin Bleeding Me took a while to catch on and I feel like I was the only person around who felt the greatness in that song. It’s a slow build, but James sings the fcuk out of that song with great melodies and poignant lyrics. It’s in my Metallica top 5!
My favorite part of the video is the camera going through the bowels of the stage as Lars is playing the drums that starts and ends with Lars. Bad ass.
Youd probably like most of the black album... its actually perched between two worlds... they were coming out of the early period and entering another phase.. now .. they lost me after this album.. but ..i do consider this classic Metallica.. the last of it.. ..who knows..they may go back and get thrash geriatric on us?.😁

The one song I really like on the "Black" album is "Don't Tread On Me". That is a good tune.

I like Of wolf and man
Saw them in 92,Buffalo,not being a true fan i was impressed by tens of thousands pumping their fists in unison during this song! Impressive!
I saw them with GNR in 92 and solo in 93. Back in their prime
They played seek and destroy for almost 45 minutes well worth the way they involved the crowd
