Unboxing the all NEW Specialized EPIC 8 Expert XC bike!

As some of you may know, I'm an ambassador for Specialized, and I just got my new Epic 8 Expert in! I couldn't be more stoked that this bike is an absolute XC beast. It will take over for my Diverge and Chisel as I'll be racing Mammoth Tuff in September on it. I've ridden my fair share of hardtails and XC bikes, and without a doubt, this one is my favorite. That "magic middle" setting everyone talks about is the real secret sauce to this bike. It is efficient, but the wheel also gets out of the way when needed. Now, it also fully locks out, which makes it essentially a rigid bike, and the full open is just like a trail bike. I will make some changes to it in the future, starting with an X01 Power meter, but for now, this bike will stay the way it is.

I raced it last year on a hardtail it was great. There’s so much sand the mtb is super fun
