Before I move to Florida, I stayed at several hotels in the Orlando area and the one that I came back to on more than one occasion was endless summer surfside dockside resorts at Universal Studios, even when I was actually going to Disney and not universal I still stayed at universal Surfside or dockside for one reason and one reason only…
The Suites!!!!
Don’t quote me on this as obviously we all know prices fluctuate constantly but I never paid over $85 to stay in two bedroom three queen size bed with a kitchenette suites.
I searched a few days on Universal Studios website and most of the prices were between $100 and $120 but it’s also becoming prime season with summer arriving and the peak season of travel.
What that is a fantastic price for a hotel not to mention a suite and a really nice hotel with resort bus going straight to Universal Studios and you get into wizard world of Harry Potter an hour early !
In the lobby, you will find a bar and a Starbucks, a universal merch gift shop and a food court. Poolside, you will find a bar as well.
These two hotels are definitely bang for your buck.
