Dev need more of this!!! affordable and budgetable hotel tours for families on a budget and fixed incomes, but want to come to enjoy a quick vacation with their kids
Also, if anyone staying in that general area doesn't want fast food, hotel restaurant food, or American, there's a fantastic Indian restaurant called Aashirwad nearby. On Fridays-Sundays, they do lunch buffets! Great food and pricing!
Just stayed at Dockside and loved it. Definitely is missing some of the extras that are normally standard and the beds aren't overly comfortable but you'll be so tired after visiting the parks it won't bug you. Highly recommend. Can't beat the price, the shuttle is a great extra
Dev, my daughter and I have stayed at both Dockside and Surfside. I think I prefer Dockside over Surfside. I fully enjoyed staying at both places. But for some reason I like Dockside better. The down side at the food court is that Dockside is louder by far. When we ate at the food court at Surfside, it was much less people and much quieter. I did like that a lot. Dockside is bigger and spread out a little more, I felt. As far as the pools go, there was nothing special about them. We got in them at both resorts. I loved the ability to ride a bus to City Walk and then on to the parks. Down side, if you drive your own car from the resort to City Walk to park, you still have to pay the parking fee, unlike Disney where on property resort guests can park in the theme park parking lots for free. For us it is a money thing, so we choose to stay at the value resorts instead of the premium resorts even though the Express Pass is included. But I realize I have to take the downside at the values since I can't afford the premiums or moderates like Cabana Bay and Aventura. But I would love to stay at a premium resort. The foods at the food courts was good in my opinion. I had no problems with the food. We don't eat fancy anyway, so food court style is ok with us. I also went to Wet and Wild once or twice back in the 80s/90s. When we come down next year for our Universal/Islands trip,( my daughter is a travel agent and she gets a free 3 day/3 park ticket each year for her yearly training, I get mine at half price), we will most likely stay at Dockside again. Unless we can swing it and can afford Cabana Bay. The thing is, we need a suite with a separate private bedroom for me. My daughter stays in the main room with the two beds. I am not sure if Cabana Bay suites have a private closed off room or not. Do you know if they do or not? Anyway I could go on and on. I really enjoy going to Universal/Islands and Volcano Bay. Last year was our first time back to Universal/Islands in close to 20 years. It was so fresh and fun again. I am looking forward to next year's Universal trip. Hope to see you there.
We vacationed here this last summer & thought it worked out perfectly. The suite room was perfect for our family of 4 and the shuttles were so efficient. Favorite family vacation so far
Saw you by the elevators when me and my family were vacationing at Dockside during the week of 10/22 to 10/27. I watch your videos all the time so I knew who you were immediately. I didn't want to intrude because I saw that you were recording. Dockside is a great resort. I plan on returning next year. Love your channel.
We stayed at Endless Summer Surfside last year and will be going back next year. We loved it. The 2 bedroom suites are really good value and for us, being on I Drive was a plus. Surfside is a bit quieter than Dockside as it’s half the size but I liked that. I stayed at Cabana Bay this year and while I did enjoy my stay there, I found it too busy and noisy. I’m looking forward to going back to Surfside! 🏄♀️
This year myself, mom, and friend from work stayed there and it was awesome. Everything we needed was just walking distance from our room. Universal is the greatest, can't wait to go back there some day.
The food and affordability of Dockside is unmatched. When we had annual passes, the 4 of us would go for 3 days at a time, stay one night at a premium resort to get 2 days of unlimited express passes, then stay the last night at Dockside.
We just came back from a Disney/Universal vacation. My family loved Dockside. Best value, the food court had MANY healthy options. Prices were right and really everyone enjoyed staying there.
I love Surfside! It is perfect for me as a solo traveler who focuses on Universal when I come to Orlando. Dockside seems too busy and big for me personally. I like how quiet Surfside is. I got a steal of a price for my December stay with my UOAP discount for $72/night!!! 🎉😊
We love Universal Endless Summer Dockside Resort. The cafeteria is large with decent food options, the pools are so nice and the rooms are beautiful and spacious. Both the standard rooms and suites are so nice. 😊
Thanks for this video update. I will be there for 15 days starting Saturday. This will be my 3rd yr in a row staying at Dockside and you showed me things I never knew or seen when I was there last year. At least I have 2 weeks to enjoy it!
My family and I love Dockside! We’ve stayed there countless times since it opened along with Surfside and Cabana Bay! Nothing compares to Universal hotels, Disney may have the transportation but the service & amenities have them beat for the price in my opinion.
We'll be staying there in 5 weeks! Thanks for putting this video out! We are so excited to stay at this resort and experience the Universal parks for 5 days!
I'm from Brazil and I've been in this hotel three times. I loved it and days at Universal are easier and less expensive than Disney. But I have to say I love Disney marathon too. I usually spend 8 days at Dockside and 6 days at All Star Movies. When you buy your package at Universal's site you can also buy the transfer from and to the airport. It was $23, so I think it is worth if you are alone, othewise uber/lyft is better.
Man I'm trippn watching this video. I literally met you while you were shooting this video. Me and my kids were walking down from Walgreens, and we bumped into you at the side gate of the resort. We shook hands and you proceeded to walk up where we came from. Seeing the guy in brown, selling water at the corner, brought me back... LOL. I went back to Walgreens a couple hours later and I see him walking out with another 24. Good times! We're from Hawaii and was looking for tips on Universal and Disney and saw you on my feed. I watched a few of your videos before our vacation, and it helped me a lot with the parks. For that, I thank you, and have an amazing, fantastic day. 🫡
We’ve stayed with Dockside twice and loved every minute! Can’t beat the value for the amenities they offer. It gets crowded in the summer but it’s worth it for the price.
Me and my partner stayed there and we genuinely don't think we'll stay anywhere else in Orlando. Dirt cheap, great location close to shops, i ride trolley stop right outside, and obviously you have the park perks. Cant beat it
Dockside is my go to! Stayed there dozens of times. A lot of people dont know they can stay on-site at Universal for less than some of the surrounding chain hotels.
This got me excited all over again for our first Universal trip coming up this spring. You did such a thorough job - I watched it and then brought it downstairs for my husband to watch with me! We especially loved the comprehensive food info! Thank you ❤
Dockside is the only Universal Resort I've stayed at so far but I loved it! Great price for a family of 6. The ceiling inside the family suites are high which makes it feel bigger. We never waited long for the bus and it didn't take that long to get to get to the parks.
I used to be a DVC member and a big Disney Fan. Not any more, I sold it a year and a half ago and I'm glad that I did. My first time at Universal Studios in a long time and stayed at Dockside Inn and Suites for the first time in February of this year and liked it. I am going to go back to dockside Inn and Suites in February next year because for one it's affordable and for two the annual tickets are a lot cheaper then Disney.
Dockside has become my go to hotel! Stayed there about 6 times from 2021-2023! We've also stayed a couple others to get the express passes. I've only paid between $75-$130 per night depending on season. I've even stayed there twice for non Universal visits because rates were under $100! We also did a suite once for only $160. The pools can't be beat and the food is good! Best bargain in Orlando. Puts Disney to shame.
We stayed there in May and absolutely loved it! Our girls 8 and 10 at the time said they don’t wanna stay anywhere else ! Loved the family suite so good! Pools lovely food was great and the buses to parks were brilliant! Such a great place to stay! Loved watching this video took me back and learnt some things I didn’t know even after staying there before!! ❤ thanks PC Dev 😊 xx
I just got back from a 9 day trip where I stayed at Endless Summer Surfside for the duration. It was extremely convenient and I loved staying there. I would definitely do it again and it was $1000 less than what it would have cost me to stay at Disney.
I’ve stayed there two times and my third will be in 14 days!! It’s such a great hotel for the price. Got my stay for around $98/night with AP discount.
Went there for the first time earlier this year - great venue. I was sceptical about the regularity of the buses - completely misplaced scepticism- never a problem. Great value plus the option to eat off property. And discover the area. The staff changed the pizza menu to order too. Couldn’t have been more friendly. Pools never busy, overall a great choice.
Just booked my Nov 5-10 stay at Dockside. Have stayed there 4 times and Surfside once. Yes you do need to take a bus and go through main security but the price makes up for it. This stay after Halloween and before Fl fall break and Thanksgiving was $83.40 per night with my premier pass discount!
We stayed at Dockside and we had such a great experience! Pool, food, room, free busses to Universal and customer service were fantastic. Can't wait to go back!
You should stay here. We stayed here a couple of years ago and had a suite with 2 beds in one room and a king bed, I believe, in another room. Price was great and loved the bus that took us to city walk
Stayed at dockside in February, great value, when looking at offsite on idrive it wasn’t much different, then you factor in the transportation and early entry it is a no brainer. Only downside is the room sound proofing isn’t great, if you have the 1 bedroom it has an adjoining door and you can hear the other room. The other downside is the fee for parking which when comparing to Disney who offer free parking now. Otherwise a great resort and I’d certainly come back
I stayed here with my daughter and her family on our last visit to Universal. We had the room with a separate bedroom which was perfect for me to have privacy and quiet time when I needed it. The one thing I didn’t like was the food court. We stayed a cabana bay before this and the food choices were better. Outside of that I would stay again.
We stayed right after it opened and loved the resort. Food was really good. The only thing we didn't care for was the beds. We had a suite and absolutely LOVED the private bedroom. Plenty of room and the little kitchen area was super nice.
Stayed at dockside September 22 loved it room was great and all amenities were brilliant love you work Dev keep it going were back in 25 for epic opening.

Thank you so much for this video! My husband and I just booked this hotel yesterday for our Disney/Universal stay in February. Even more excited about staying there.
Great and highly informative video, Dev. And quite timely. I will be staying at Dockside this upcoming Tuesday and you've really got me fired up for it! Thank you for the tour!
Thank you so much for your review. You did a great job at thoroughly explaining what Dockside offered in regards to amenities and more importantly food/drink. My family and I stayed here 2 years ago but we didn't get to fully see what the hotel had to offer. The pool was great and the bar was nice but we were short on time so it's all a blur. We plan on visiting again this year but I'm stuck on weather we should come in July again or August. Are you able to speak on which month is better?
Great video!! December will be my 3rd year staying at Dockside. Never had any issues...all the Team members have been amazing, the pricing great and many more reasons I will continue to stay here
Thanks for all you do I have learned so much about the parks from you We stayed last year at Dockside absolutely loved it, the suites were huge, we will be staying in May at Volcano beach and we cannot wait
Thank you Dev. For sharing this great informative video. This is very helpful to see the best places to stay for trip planning . Have a blessed day .❤️
I’ve stayed there last February and I had a really nice experience. I was by myself and I met a lot of cool people and the free transportation to the parks was a huge plus. The staff was awesome. Also the i drive area is super convenient. Would stay there again anytime ❤
Universals End of Summer Resort Hotel/Hotels are really great/good/postive Vibes/Packaged goods/supplies/Resorces for it being that real/really way it was Orginally or firstly or previously.
Never stayed there dev but how lovely does it look amazing another fantastic video pal with great information as always dev thanks again that's why your the man
Dev need more of this!!! affordable and budgetable hotel tours for families on a budget and fixed incomes, but want to come to enjoy a quick vacation with their kids
Please use a real word. “Budgetable” isn’t a word.
Can't beat Endless Summer. Location, family friendly price amenities, transporation to and from park. Exceptional
Also, if anyone staying in that general area doesn't want fast food, hotel restaurant food, or American, there's a fantastic Indian restaurant called Aashirwad nearby. On Fridays-Sundays, they do lunch buffets! Great food and pricing!
Universal is the best.

So pumped for our stayed in December. 71$ a night at dockside can’t be beat

does annual pass dining discount apply to hotel food offerings?

Great to run into while filming this Dev. Keep up the good work!

I would like to plan a trip this summer. May I ask how you all get cheap or discounted tickets for a family of 4?
We'll be staying there in 5 weeks! Thanks for putting this video out! We are so excited to stay at this resort and experience the Universal parks for 5 days!

I love how visibly happy you look when you do Universal vlogs
Yes yes yes ! We need more hotel reviews !! I would love if you could make a < all the extras > a universal , covering like photopass and stuff !
I got you!
Getting very close to 160K Dev! Keep up the good work!
Thank you!
Dockside is the only Universal Resort I've stayed at so far but I loved it! Great price for a family of 6. The ceiling inside the family suites are high which makes it feel bigger. We never waited long for the bus and it didn't take that long to get to get to the parks.
More Universal!!! Dev, can’t thank you enough for highlighting this universal content.
We are staying here in 2 weeks and I’m now even more excited about our trip! Thanks for the great tour. Keep them coming!!
Stayed here this time last year, loved it, well worth the price! Can’t wait to get back.

We have stayed at Surfside a few times and loved it. For New Year's we are staying at Dockside and can't wait!! Thanks for giving us a tour!!!
We have stayed at Dockside, Surfside and Cabana Bay. We love Cabana Bay the most and a room overlooking the Volcano is hard to beat.
Amazing video, a nice breath of fresh air away from the disney videos!!!

stayed at dockside in a 1 bedroom suite, def a nice clean room with a view of the pool. found it to be a nice place
I’ll be staying here for the first time in two weeks. Your video made me more excited for my vacation. Thank you!
Happy Monday! Beautiful area around Universal Orlando hotels.
We are staying here for the first time in April and I cannot wait!!! Thanks for the tour, Dev!
Wow… wow… thanks Dev! I can’t believe the level of amenities for a value resort!! Gotta love universal

This hotel looks great! Thanks so much for taking us along! ❤️
Fantastic Fantastic tour 😊
Stayed at dockside in February, great value, when looking at offsite on idrive it wasn’t much different, then you factor in the transportation and early entry it is a no brainer. Only downside is the room sound proofing isn’t great, if you have the 1 bedroom it has an adjoining door and you can hear the other room.

Great vlog. Really informative. Staying at Surfside ina few weeks and will pop over to try the food court at Dockside.
Stayed there with my friend and his girlfriend the staff was awesome! Had a great stay definitely want to stay there again.
Really important to know that whenever there are any cheer or dance competitions at UO, basically every team will be staying there for the duration. If you're there during one of those stays, it's going to be really packed trying to get food or getting to and from the elevators. Also, if you ever go for HHN, show up for check-in on a non-HHN day or else you may be waiting a while. Otherwise, a fantastic budget hotel. If you're an out of state AP looking for a place to stay for a few days, the lowest rates I've gotten are around $70 a night, which is an insanely good rate.
A few weeks ago I booked 5 nights here for our upcoming Feb stay. This video confirms it, this place looks awesome!! Thanks for the tour Dev
Love this video Dev. I’m staying here for my next trip from London in May 2024.
Thanks for the tips! Going on July for my Bday 🙌🏻
I'm gonna be staying at dockside soon and I'm sure I'll love it.
Excellent job of showing us the hotel and surrounding area.
Budget friendly Universal hotels video? Uh, yes please!!! 🎉😄🙌 I'd like to see Sapphire Falls, Royal Pacific, or Portofino Bay next!
My family and I stayed there in March and it was awesome. Not to compare and put Disney down but Universals budget resorts are so so much better than Disneys budget resorts. The perks that come with staying on Universals property and the food was really good. Service was amazing as well. Also a lot of people smoking 🌿
Thanks for the review! We stayed there 2 summers ago and loved it. Convenience to parks via buses was incredible.
DEFINITELY GONNA STAY HERE. AWESOME VIDEO! I HAD NO IDEA IT WAS THIS NICE.
We have stayed at Dockside 3 times, it's fantastic.
And booked for next year coming over from the UK.❤
Thank you so much for your review. You did a great job at thoroughly explaining what Dockside offered in regards to amenities and more importantly food/drink. My family and I stayed here 2 years ago but we didn't get to fully see what the hotel had to offer. The pool was great and the bar was nice but we were short on time so it's all a blur. We plan on visiting again this year but I'm stuck on weather we should come in July again or August. Are you able to speak on which month is better?

Great video, Dev!! Very informative. Would you say it’s worth it to stay at Dockside saving money if I had Disney parks on the trip agenda?

I was by myself and I met a lot of cool people and the free transportation to the parks was a huge plus. The staff was awesome.
Also the i drive area is super convenient. Would stay there again anytime ❤
Universals End of Summer Resort Hotel/Hotels are really great/good/postive Vibes/Packaged goods/supplies/Resorces for it being that real/really way it was Orginally or firstly or previously.
