I've literally been having this same conversation in another Weird Al clip. Those curls are glorious. I suspect he inadvertently uses aspects of The Curly Girl Method without realising it...
@@fe5018 What is this Curly Girl Method you speak of! My beloved leave-in conditioner was just discontinued after a decade of use, and now I have no idea how to take care of my hair.
@@TamesisShamlyn It's a bunch of techniques formalised into a "method" for managing and enhancing natural curls (the name is based on a book which sparked the whole "movement"). There're tons of very good blogs and youtube videos showing people who have adopted the practices, they're worth a look. Things like using products without silicones and sulfates and also replenishing and not eradicating the oils your hair needs to be healthy are key factors. They're also the most difficult parts. Simple things like letting hair dry naturally, not over using heat, and "plopping" with softer fabrics instead of twisting your hair up in towels are others. It's a surprisingly effective system and people who have inadvertently suppressed their curls for years are rediscovering them as a result but it seems to have a steep learning curve. Alot of trial and error to get consistent results and healthy hair
Same thing happened to me: I skipped 2 grades & was much younger than my classmates. Luckily I didn't have any problems -bullying wasn't a thing (not USA), but I was stiil a kid when all my friends started puberty & I wasn't interested in girls yet. Now I love Al even more!
I've always believed that Weird Al has Asperger's, which could also help explain why almost everyone I know on the spectrum is an Al fan and views him as a hero and inspiration.
Not only was he only 16 when he graduated, but he was the Valedictorian.
I like how, in response to the bullying, instead of "that shouldn't happen", he's like "as is expected"
Al is such a cute, decent, intelligent, humorous human being, i wish him the best.
cheers Al from Vienna, Austria!
He’s so endearing.
Al is the best. Great interview.
I love "Weird Al" and wish him the best!!!!
Grew up the same way. I juggled to cope and it made me stand out later in my life. That and magic too.
"Juggling To Cope" new band name.
Juggling is a great way to be popular.
I love Weird Al. He's given me a lot of laughs over the years.I wish him and his family every happiness.
I wanna know what products he uses in his hair. It's incredible.

i suspect it's a combination of the products "heredity" and "brush"
@@huntmastergutentag557 Spoken like somebody who doesn't have curly hair, lmao
Junior High School wad miserable for me too. The only thing that made it bearable was listening to my Weird Al albums. Thanks, Al.
He was popular at my middle school. With me, at least. 😋
you went to school with Al?
He's sooo nice, never really knew anything about him but I really like him!
I love him so much. Its overwhelming.

You can’t temper steel with a warm blanket! School can be so incredibly hard but difficulty produces character. Or so I keep telling myself.

Whoa! This was uploaded on my birthday!
I wish he'd put out a new video on his channel.Lol. I know he doesn't do albums anymore, but I just wanted to see a video like the "Suit" video.XD
Did you see the silly alpaca video he posted on his instagram account recently?
AlyankovicLovr26 He posts on Twitter and Instagram fairly often.
💚💛💙❤🌟 Weird Al on the list of very talented and educated musicians
I couldn’t imagine why
I did Lynnwood High.... The new one...SUCKS! Love you Al!
Al never shows his true feelings in public. Like any clown, he laughs on the outside and cries on the inside. He might need therapy.
Well, he can drive to the therapist in his Ferrari
@@warrenstemphly5756 Al owns 2 Teslas, well... now that his daughter is driving, he might have 3.
